Chapter 9:

Katherine POV:

Waking up I feel around for my phone on the nightstand when I realize I'm not in my villa, when last night replays in my head and I silently squeal to myself holding the pillow to my chest, blushing as I think back, but, where is Apollo? And didn't we end up falling asleep on the couch? And this t-shirt I'm wearing? Must be his...did he carry me to the bed?

Feeling a slight headache from the few drinks I had last night I start to panic slightly as this feels very dejavu in Greece and I start thinking to myself that maybe he will regret it? Even though I know he told me he liked me last night, the mind is just such a powerful thing and...urrgh whatever I am here already and the smell of coffee draws me to the kitchen.

As I enter the kitchen I am met with a wide muscular back filled with tattoos and trust me, I am barely awake but it is never too early to be just a little horny, I mean come on, the man is fine as hell. Just as I thought I could stare a little longer he must've heard me walking in as he pours a cup of coffee, turns around with that sexy smirk of his and walks towards me, handing me the coffee

"Good Morning, beautiful..." I feel myself grinning and blushing, Kat relax! Damn girl...I giggle to myself, still not believing what is happening and he looks at me with a frown "Something funny, Ms Ellis?" he starts wrapping his arms around my waist and goddamn if I don't hold onto this mug tight enough, I'm going to drop it and jump this man right here. I spot the clock and it's 10 am, I place the cup down and shove him slightly out of the way "oh my god! Mr Drakos! The activities start at 11, we're almost late!" I scurry to get my handbag and find my clothes, halfway running towards the door when an arm snakes around my waist and holds me in place "Mr Drakos, what are y-, we're going to be late and--" he starts kissing me slowly behind my ear and down my neck. He speaks and I feel his breath by my ear "It's Apollo to you, and the activities were postponed till tomorrow, didn't you see the group message?" closing my eyes for a second to gain composure, he let's go and I immediately check my phone, but the battery has died. Sighing I turn to him "Mr Drak-" he squints his eyes at me "Apollo--" he smiles

"Yes, Katherine?" ooh my name has never sounded so good...

"Could I borrow a charger please?" he walks into the room and appears with a charger. He orders room service breakfast and we sit just before the terrace at the table eating breakfast, as I mentioned that I didn't want anyone to know we were seeing each other yet as it would cause unnecessary uproar in the office and after much convincing, he finally gave in and we agreed to wait before we made anything known as we were also just starting to explore our interest in each other. It was such a peaceful day, we made out a lot, watched movies, and cuddled and as the day grew later, I had to leave for my villa to prepare for tomorrow. "Can't you stay here?" I had to 'awww' at his face, I've never seen Apollo give anyone a puppy dog face and trust me it was almost impossible to say no but I had to be strong and remind him that he can text me or call me. I also grabbed him and his phone and took a selfie of us, telling him cheekily to look at that when he missed me, to which he grinned, kissed me goodbye and I left to my villa, carefully checking on my way if someone saw me.

As if he could somehow sense where I was, the moment I locked the door of my villa, my phone rang

"Hello?"

"Hi beautiful..." I knew that voice anywhere. We spent the rest of the night into the early morning talking over the phone until I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore and fell asleep with the phone in my hand...

We spent the next few days doing all sorts of fun activities and games which Mrs Lopez arranged for us. She was the sweetest lady and her husband was still so clearly in love with her, even after all these years they still looked as though they just got married, I wish that for my future as well. I don't know why but I suddenly looked at Apollo trying to figure out the map and envisioned our future together for a second when I realized we were surrounded by colleagues and got back to it. It was the day of the big anniversary party bash and we had been having meetings in the mornings, activities during the day and then Apollo and I would meet secretly in the evenings after supper, which would often include being naked in the lake...

As the activity comes to an end, the winning team which was Apollo's team as he was highly competitive, as was I but he was so distracting so our team came in second, the winning team had the prize of being bestowed with dresses and suits for tonight's event, which would've been lovely but I'm extremely happy with the custom dress Chris had designed for me and so I used the rest of the day to pamper myself at the spa, get my hair and nails done and as I am just about ready to leave, there is a knock on my door "coming!"

I head towards the door and the breath is knocked out of me, my mouth watering ever so slightly as Apollo stands there looking all types of delicious in a form-fitting designer black suit. Blatantly staring at him, when I reach his face he cocks an eyebrow at me eating me with his eyes as well and he lets out a low whistle "dammnn you look fucking gorgeous" I feel gorgeous as well and my confidence is on a hundred and so I give him a cheeky pose but he catches me off-guard and lifts me over his shoulder, closing the door and placing me on the bed, kissing me all over and just as he is about to take off his suit jacket, I stop him "Apollo... we're going to be late" he sighs

"Can't we just skip it?" I laugh at his facial expression

"No, this is important to Mr and Mrs Lopez. Now, let's fix ourselves and get going" he helps me up from the bed, we readjust ourselves and head towards the main hall of the resort which is absolutely huge and decorated from top to bottom so elegantly. The firm is all seated around one table, I am seated next to Apollo and so we keep sneaking touches of each other and he occasionally grabbed my hand during the speeches, especially when Mrs Lopez started making hers and some tears fell from my eyes, he squeezed me hand and looked at me quickly, making sure I was fine. Luckily no one saw, I hope, it is definitely too early for them to assume anything and I don't want to jinx or ruin something before it even got serious, even though it already feels that way between us.

After a few hours of dancing, I made my way to the lanterns over the beach as my feet were hurting from the heels and I just wanted some fresh air and quiet when I hear footsteps behind me. I can feel his presence without even having to look and as I feel a jacket being wrapped around my shoulders, Apollo sits next to me on the bench. The night is so beautiful with all the stars in the sky, the moon reflecting on the beach and the music heard in the distance from the resort. Feeling calm and happy with Apollo next to me, I lay my head on his shoulder "It's such a beautiful sight"

"Yes, it is...absolutely breathtaking..." I look up at him only to see him looking at me and my heart does this flutter as he closes the gap and connects with my lips. He then puts his hand out "I've been wanting to do this all night..." he stands, still with his hand reached out "Katherine...care to dance?" I smile up at him and grab his hand "But of course, your highness" I do a little curtsey and we both chuckle but as he pulls me closer and we start to slow dance to the music, my head on his chest, I realized that it's probably too early for anyone to say but fuck it, I think I'm in love... I look up into his eyes and grab his hand, I want this man

"Kat?..." he looks at me confused, but I start walking along the beach dragging him with me, he quickly picks up his suit jacket and follows me but comes to a stop and he is too strong for me to keep pulling along so I stop and look at him "Kat, what's going on?" I turn completely towards him now, close the gap, grab his face and kiss him passionately to convey my message. As we break apart we are both breathing heavily. We start into each other's eyes for a good minute before he picks me up bridal style, I let out a laugh "Apollo!" he just continues to almost bloody run towards his villa. When we reach his villa, he places me down to open the door and as soon as we are inside, he drops his suit jacket and I just openly gawk at him as he removes his shirt, loosening the buttons as those beautiful tattoos over those abs come into view and I instinctively bite my lip "Like what you see?" Apollo cheekily stalks toward me and within a second, he has me lifted onto the dining room table, kissing my lips and making his way down to my breasts while unzipping the back of my dress.

As I feel my chest being exposed, he makes his way down to my nipples; I moan in pleasure and bring his face to mine, our tongues fighting for dominance as my hands explore his arms and back. Lifting me off the table, he lets the dress fall, leaving it in the dining room and I am placed on the bed. Ever the gentlemen, he takes my shoes off and throws them behind him, as he crawls in the middle of my legs and towers over me, I reach for his belt and loosen it, giving it the same fate as my shoes. He then removes his pants and minutes later we are both naked, clothes lying all over the room. I feel myself wanting him inside me already when he looks at me to make sure this is what I want and I nod frantically at him, I want all of him, in every way possible. As he enters, our moans are stifled by our kissing and soon a light sweat starts to show on our bodies. After going at it for about a few more hours, I am finally too tired to function and both of us collapse on our backs, breathing heavily with the moonlight shining over us. He pulls me towards him and we fall asleep limbs entangled with my head against his chest, his arms wrapped around me protectively. My heart...
