Gongsun Li woke up with showering of kisses that Zhu Zhen started planting on her face.

"Huangshang?" she asked confused.

"You are with my child, baby." Zhu Zhen smiled warmly at her before taking her lips to one deep kiss.

"Come on, have the breakfast soon. We don't want our child to be hungry."

Although Gongsun Li was overly emotional with the news of her pregnancy, she refused to eat before the emperor releases Hunag Xiaomin.

"So you care that much about him? More than our child?" Zhu Zhen asked, his voice laced with hurt.

"No! Laoye, our child would never have a happy life if an innocent men is punished just for his mother's fault. Please Laoye, for our child, release him." Gongsun Li sobbed. Zhu Zhen could not see his pregnant wife suffering for his silly jealousy, so he finally budged and ordered to release Hunag Xiaomin. Thankfully for Huang Xiaomin, he was saved before getting punished.

Also, our emperor was nicely bribed by Gongsun Li with her sweet kisses for showing mercy. After feeding and kissing his wife to his heart's content, Zhu Zhen went to attend counsel. Before leaving the chamber, his eyes got stuck at the sachet he saw with Gongsun Li the other day.

Gongsun Li's entire body started shaking with nervousness.

Zhu Zhen hugged her tighter to him to calm his anger as he realized his wife is making up lies to hide his parents.

Why would she do that? Is she- is she a spy?

"Who are you?!"

Gongsun Li's face flashed with panic as she heard his deep cold question. Zhu Zhen already parting her arms around him.

"I-I-I-" Gongsun Li's face turned out the size of a berry in fear and her expression was like a deer caught in headlight.

She was scared that she had to tell that she actually transmigrated but she didn't know she was already judged as a spy.

"Laoye!" Gongsun Li couldn't believe her ears. It felt like everything changed in few seconds.
