Forever

Is now, nothing but a

Filthy, dusty lane.

Yet this place still

Sings your name.

Your flute hauntingly follows me

And echoes everywhere.

No one would ever

Take that transformed

Filthy, dirty lane.

So many changes

Such a distortion

Yet

I stare at it

Every day.

With those same dreamy eyes.

Your footprints

Are the most beautiful thing in the whole universe, Krishna.

Wonder what breeze could remove those?
