I have Hayley's hand as we approach dad

"Hope's down for the count. She fell asleep as soon as Mary started the car. I doubt she'll miss either of us over the next few days"

I rip a paper out a notebook with the addresses

"So...which of these Kingmaker offices should we hit up first?" Hayley questions "There's ten of them"

dad turns around with a worried look

"What's wrong, dad"

"Lucien has revealed his true nature. He's taken Freya"

"And now, it seems her rescue depends on Elijah working with my ever-reliable brother Finn"

"Are we going back?" I question "To head the hunt?"

Hayley sighs "Fine. You two should go. I'm sticking with Kingmaker, though. Lucien's working very hard to cover up these wolf kidnappings, and I want to know why" she goes to leave

"No" dad sighs "The wolves, Freya's abduction....it can't all be coincidence. We'll let my brothers pursue the obvious path"

I path Hayley's arm "Plus, you would be lost without us"

we are now right outside the Kingmaker office of Tennessee

"Does he just build these from a kit or something? It's the exact same for the last five offices. Same windows, same plants..."

I groan "Same boring art and annoying receptionist..."

Hayley gives me a look

dad pats my shoulder "I'm sure we'll find something soon, Sam. Besides we can't break up the team now that I've discovered your carpool karaoke skills"

adopted mommy laughs

"Lucien is obviously playing a game" dad continues "Each unassuming little office building we search, the more sure I am of it. We keep going. Together"

with a sigh I follow "Even if we have to look through a hundred of these stupid places"

the three of us get to the receptionist area

"Ah, hello, love!" dad says "We're here for a spot of 'search and potentially destroy'" then he starts to compel her "Do tell-- where are teh off-limits to general staff?"

oh this receptionist is not compellable

"You just wait right here... and I'll have someone out here to help you with your inquiry"

then an alarm starts blaring. Everything goes dark and red lights start flooding in followed by arm guards

"Stay right there" a guard shouts

now they're surrounding us

"Sam" dad says "You know what to do"

with that Hayley roars as I hit the ground to crawl out of there

after getting out of there I find the lab and kill the scientists inside

but then there are people chained up with IV drips and corpse of transformed wolves in cages

Hayley and dad walk in

"They're all wolves" she says

walking up I start taking masks off and ripping chains off

"What are you doing" dad asks

my eyes scrape the now moving people "They're alive"

"What the hell is Lucien up to" Hayley whispers

Some of these wolves are interesting

"Freya's safe" dad says as he returns

Hayley sighs "What about the others?"

"Well, Finn's in a bad way. Some kind of werewolf bite. Elijah thinks I should return home and heal him. Ease his pain"

I make a face "Or we could let Finn die....again"

he chuckles at me "Exactly what I was thinking"

"Klaus, when you said that you wanted to work together for Hope's sake, I wanted to know what that looked like. And now, I do. I appreciate you helping me rescue the wolves, but if there is any chance of making Finn an ally, you should take it. Go"

we walk in the compound to hear them arguing

"Sibling squabbling. How familiar. Although, the teams seem to have changed...someone care to tell me why?"

"Out brother needs us" Elijah states

Finn moans in pain and then dad gives in because Hayley and Hope are turning him soft

then Finn sighs as I sit by Kol

"Thank you, brother"

Freya plays with his hair "How are you feeling"

"I feel...strangely euphoric"

dad smirks "I've been known to have that effect"

"No one says that" I voice "At all"

Kol laughs at me "Pardon me while I go and gouge out my eyes with a hot poker"

no one but me thought that was funny

"I thank even you, Kol. Your little witch actually came through" pause "Today...I saw a glimpse of your coveted 'Always and Forever'. And...I..." then he starts coughing up lots of blood

"Finn" dad yells

"Finn" Elijah panics "Oh, what's happening"

I'm no expert but I think he's dying Elijah

Freya and Elijah hold him down as he freaks on the couch

"What's wrong with him"

Freya looks really freaked out "His body, it's dying..."

"No! No, it's not possible! I cured him!"

Finn starts wheezing

"Freya--"

her eyes widen "Hey! It's going to be all right, brother. We'll fix this, you'll see. Okay?"

with a gulp I get up and walk over and take his hand "This is going to hurt, Finn."

"What are you doing?" dad asks

I breath "When we lived in Mystic Falls I stole a very old book from a tomb. Later, I found out it was a grimoire; I've never done any of the spells, but..."

"Do it" Elijah says "Anything"

I grip his hand with both of mine

he starts healing until he's saved

then everything goes black

when I wake up everyone's surrounding me

they look like they're talking but I can't hear anything

"SAM" I finally hear dad yell

oh now I hurt everywhere

"What did you do" Finn asks "You shouldn't of done that"

"Glad to know you care, uncle Finn" I croak then cough "God, that fucking hurt"

Elijah smiles "Language"

"Mate almost died" Kol defends "I think he can cuss now"

dad launches himself at me "Don't ever scare me like that again, Samael Mikaelson"

"So you decide to crush me to death?" I ask

Freya is crying in the background

Kol smirks "When'd you learn our native language"

"Nevermind that what did the spell do" Freya cries "I've never heard it"

"It transferred the bite to myself" I say "But sense I'm a werewolf it just kind of knocked my ass out"

dad hugs me again
