(Decided to grace you all with this chapter. I don't like it but I hope you all enjoy!!!)
Natalie, Aaliyah, and Lawren were in bed. Klaus had finally got a tv so she was watching kid shows while doing school work.
One thing to know about her she will always be a kid a heart. She loved kid shows.
Sesame Street was currently on. She had PBS kids on right now.
Today was another stay at home day. She had washed half of the baby clothes. The cribs were set up now they just had to decorate the room. They had set up a space for baby things in the kitchen and in other rooms as well.
Her braids were pulled back into a ponytail. Her laptop up in front with both babies on side her.
She had them in these pillow things were they can sit up and see everything. She typing on her computer and singing Sesame street theme song when Klaus comes in. He leans against the door smiling at his girlfriend and two kids.
"Sunny Day
Sweepin' the clouds away
On my way to where the air is sweet
Can you tell me how to get?
How to get to Sesame Street
Come and play
Everything's A-OK
Friendly neighbors there
That's where we meet
Can you tell me how to get
How to get to Sesame StreetIt's a magic carpet ride
Every door will open wide
To happy people like you
Happy people like
What a beautiful
Sunny Day
Sweepin' the clouds away
On my way to where the air is sweet
Can you tell me how to get,
How to get to Sesame Street...
How to get to Sesame Street
How to get to..."
She jumps as she hears clapping. She looks up to see Klaus standing there. She groans and puts her face into her hands. "How long have you been standing there?"
He continues to stand there. "Long enough to know you definitely love this show."
"Well yea grew up on this. Honestly I might have to introduce you to kids shows. They are the best. You're going to be watching them a lot with these two."
Klaus looks at her amused.
"What? I like kids shows okay. I'm not ashamed."
He laughed. "Why'd you act like that when I caught you?"
"Because you caught me off guard. I didn't see you or feel your presence."
Klaus makes his way to the bed. He moves her computer to the side and lays his head in her lap. Her hand goes straight to his hair. She looks at the girls to see them quietly watching the tv.

Klaus sighs as Natalie continue to run her fingers through his hair. "I love you."
Natalie smiles. "I love you."
"What are you doing today?"
"I'm gonna finish these assignments and maybe finish washing the rest of their things. Other than that nothing. What are you doing today?"
"Nothing. Rebekah is going to the dance tonight."
"Yea she asked I told her no. I'm not going to a dance and she kinda seemed off."
Klaus looked at her confused. "What do you mean off?"
"Like she had more power." Now that she was thinking about it Rebekah had been acting weird from looking at her babies to long to staring at Natalie.
"Oh my god." She said while groaning. "How did I not noticed before. Your mother took a page right out of your book."
He looked up at her confused. "What did she do, love?"
"She put herself in Rebekah body." After saying that her phone ranged. She sees Bonnie contact and answers it. "Hello?"
"You and Klaus need to get here now!"
"We're on our way."
She hung the phone and got up. She went put something on.
She grabbed some pants and shirts for her babies. She grabbed a jacket and hat as well.
She handed Klaus an outfit and they both grabbed a child. They changed their diapers and changed their clothes.
She quickly fixed their bags and grabbed Lawren. Klaus grabbed Aaliyah and her bag. They both went to her car and the doors buckling the girls in.
She got into the driver seat and Klaus in the passenger. She put the key in the ignition and put her foot on the brakes. She put the car in drive and made her way to Jenna.
•••
She pulled up to the Gilbert residence. She got out and made her way up to the door. She knocked and waited for it to open. After some time Jenna opened the door.
"Hi Jenna. I know it's late but I really need you to watch the kids." Natalie rushes.
"Yea sure. What's going on?" She asks opening the door.
"Esther. She doing something." Natalie tells her.
"Okay just bring them in."
Natalie nodded and thanked her. She went back to the car as Klaus got out. They took the car seats out and grabbed the baby bags. They walked to the door. Natalie grabbed Aaliyah car seat and brought it inside since Klaus wasn't invited in.
She sat then down on the couch and turned to Jenna. She hugged her. "Thank you again."
"It's fine. I'll watch them anytime you need me to. Now go and be careful!" Jenna tells her.

"I will." Natalie makes her way back to the car and gets in. She places her head on the steering wheel and sighs.
"God can't even have a peaceful day."
Klaus rubs her back. "Once my mothers dead we can do whatever you like. Maybe get the family and leave town."
"Yea take Bonnie, care, Jenna, and jer with me. We all know Bonnie needs a break." She starts the car and makes her way to the school.
✨✨✨
She pulls up and parks. They both get out and make their way to the entrance. When they make it their a barrer is up so no one supernatural can't go in or out.
Natalie groans and calls Bonnie.
"Finally! Took you all day." Damon says.
"Shut up Damon. Where's Bonnie and why do you have her phone?" Natalie asks
"She doing a spell to try and break the barrier."
"Okay I'll help. Keep me on the phone." She grabs the candles out her trunk and goes where no one can see her but still close to the school.
"Watch over me Nik?" She asks
"Of course love."
She lights the candles up and takes a deep breathe before staring the spell.
Her and Bonnie are chanting together with Natalie help the magic is more powerful breaking the salted line.
She quickly get ups and makes her way into the building. She meets her cousin half way bringing her into a hug.
"What is Esther doing?" Natalie asks
"I don't know. She took Elena so it has something to do with her blood. She also has Alaric. She's making him like Mikael."
Natalie looks around. "Where's Jeremy?"
Nobody says nothing. "I asked a question."
Damon speaks up. "Him and Matt went to Esther."
Natalie looked at them angry. "And you let them go?! They're humans they can't do nothing against a 1000 year old witch!"
"It was Jeremy idea so if you want to get mad at someone get mad at him," Damon told her angrily.
"I'm leaving and killing this bitch like I should have the first time."
Natalie turns and gets in her car, Klaus getting in before she pulls off.
✨✨✨
Both Natalie and Klaus arrived to see Matt and Jeremy pointing there weapons at each other. She was about to do a spell when Alaric came out and stabbed Esther in the back with a stake, killing her.
Alaric pulled it out letting Esther body fall. "Where's my ring?"
Nobody says nothing. He looks between Jeremy and Elena. "Tell me what happened?"
Natalie and Klaus turned around to leave as everyone started coming. This wasn't there problem. They weren't close to Alaric. So she let them have they're time together since he was going to die.
They both got into the car and pulled off making they're way to Jenna.
When she got there Jenna opened the door and let Natalie in. She saw the car seats by the door.
"They're in my bed sleeping."
Natalie nodded. "Did you fix them a bottle?"
"Yep. After burping them they fell asleep. Which was about an hour ago." Jenna informs.
She nodded ms "Okay."
"Did everything go okay. I mean you guys weren't long for gone." Jenna asks
Natalie looked at Jenna sad. "I think you need to go to Alaric."
"Okay... but why?"
"Just go Jenna. You, Elena and Jeremy are gonna need each other."
Jenna didn't say anything else speeding out the house using her senses to find her niece and nephew.
Natalie grabbed the car seats and went into Jenna room. She softly placed the babies in their seats, buckles them up and walked out side. She saw Klaus waiting there.
She hands him both seats and goes back inside and grab their bags. She closes the door behind her and puts the bags on the floor in the back.
Both girls were buckled in so both parents got into the car and drove home.
✨✨✨
Everyone was in bed. Girls were still asleep. Harley was at the girls feet sleeping Klaus was on one end of the bed while Natalie was at the other.
They had took the dagger out Rebekah when they got home. She wanted space so they were giving her that.
Natalie and Klaus weren't sleep yet. They were enjoying the quietness of the night.
"We should go on a vacation. Leave town by the end of this week." Natalie says quietly.
"Where would you like to go love?" He asks.
"Somewhere hot. Out of the country."
"We can do it. Maybe we can stay buy a house. Get out of the dreaded town."
She gives him a soft smile. "Yea I'd like that."
Only this was the calm before the storm.

At The Lions Gate
In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law. But as White makes his case Josh is jolted by a painful war-time memory, a crisis of conscience that will soon determine the fate of Rosy Goldin and Erick White.
