"Aye, let's say that Mikael followed Elena in here. He tried to grab her, so he could use her as bait." Stefan says, explaining for our plan tonight.
I furrow my eyebrows, crossing my arms. "And you what? Vervained him?"
"No, we vervained him! This guy is an Original. To make it realistic." Damon jumps in and Stefan eventually nods, "Okay, fine. We vervained him, and in the process discovered that he had a dagger."
"Which he planned to use on Rebekah, but instead..." Elena starts, "We drove it through his heart." Stefan cuts in.
"And what happens when he asks to see Mikael's body?" I ask and uncross my arms, sitting at one of the tables. "Good point! You my brother have been compelled to do what Klaus says. So the idea is to lure him back here and kill him...last thing we need is you getting tripped up and tongue-tied." Damon states.
"Well don't look at me. I'm just in charge of getting him back here." Stefan shrugs. "Klaus is smart. If we tell him that Mikael's dead, he'll want proof." Elena tells us and I nod.
"Then I shall be dead." Mikael walks in as he puts a dagger and a jar of white oak ask on the table nearby.
"What if he wants to see you in person?" Elena questions as we all walk towards Mikael. There was an odd feeling about him and I knew I couldn't trust him.
"Well, it means our plans is working." he replies back, "Klaus will absolutely want to see my body. You lure him here, and I will kill him."
"With what? Those daggers won't work on him." Stefan makes a point. "Well, I'm in possession of a stake fashioned from the wood of the ancient white oak tree." Mikael tells Stefan. "The one that left this ashes when it burned." he adds. "Where is it?" Damon asks.
"Not here. Knowing its location is my insurance policy."
"Against what?" Stefan questions. Mikael put the dagger in the ash and pulls it out, "You leaving this in my heart." Mikael replies.
"You see, a vampire can't dagger an original without dying. So... it falls to you." He hands Elena the dagger. I watch her hesitate before grabbing the dagger.
"You want me to actually dagger you?" she asks him. "Klaus will leave nothing to chance. Especially when it comes to trust."
Elena stakes the dagger in Mikael's heart. I watch as he falls to the ground and his body slowly starts to desiccate.
And that was it. The plan was working. Stefan called Klaus and Rebekah had convinced him to come back home.
§
"So, when do I actually get to shoot?" I ask, fixing my arrows so Damon can soak them in wolfbane after he's ready. I sit on his bed, counting how many arrows I had at this point.
"Your job is to shoot as many hybrids as you can with your talented hands." Damon responds with his usual smirk. I roll my eyes and collect my arrows before walking to the bathroom where Damon and Elena were currently at.
"We can't trust Rebekah not to turn on us." Elena tells us as she does her job of the plan. "Oh, really?" Damon asks sarcastically, "because those original vampires are so reliable."
"Bonnie was right. Rebekah may be mad at Klaus now, but he is her brother." my sister states and I bit my lips, thinking about that.

I never really got any interactions with Klaus besides the fact that he was curious as in to who I was and why he never saw me before. I just don't know why he would ever care in the first place.
"Her lying, mama-killing, dagger-happy brother." Damon says then raises his voice, "The wolfsbane's ready."
I hand him my arrows, so he can soak them. "Thank youuu." he sings, taking the arrows from me.
"There are too many things that could go wrong with this plan." Elena sighs, "Too many people who can make it go wrong." she adds on.
"Well, I am formulating a secret contingency plan." Damon states. "Really? What is it?" Elena asks, curious like I was. "Well, if I told you, then it won't be a secret." Damon smirks.
"I need to borrow a tie." Stefan comes into the bathroom.
"You have your own ties." Damon replied. "I'm 162 years old and I'm going to a homecoming dance. I need better ties." Stefan clarifies.
"You could not go." I suggested.
"I'm compelled to protect to two. And if I look at your track record at high school dances, it's pretty tragic. My luck you guys will go head and get your myself murdered by the homecoming queen." He said and leaves the bathroom.
"Well damn." I muttered.
Elena picks up a wolfsbane grenade. Damon caught her and lightly smacks her hand. "I know how to do it. Alaric taught me." Elena defended.
"Elena, if this thing blows up in our face just remember one of us heals quickly." Damon said and I chuckled lightly.
Stefan walks into the bathroom with a black tie and walks up behind Damon and Elena, who were in front of a mirror. "Ugh, please tell me that you have a better plan than wolfsbane grenades." Stefan rolls his eyes.
"Never you mind, brother. The less you know, the better." Damon tells him.
"My freedom from Klaus rests entirely upon you three executing your plan perfectly." Stefan said sarcastically.
"So, excuse me if I'm a bit cynical." He starts to leave, but Elena stops him, "You're the one that we should be worried about. If Klaus asks you one wrong question, whole thing falls apart."
"You do have reason you worry. But if I look back at our history of epic plan failures, it's usually because one of us let out humanity get in the way." Stefan tells her.
"So If I'm taking odds on how this thing goes down, it's certainly not going to be me who screws it up. I'll see you guys at homecoming. I can't wait." Stefan said and leaves the room.
§
I step into Tyler's very crowded home. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion, how did he manage to bring this many people in a short amount of time?
The homecoming party at our school got flooded so, Tyler switched it back to his house, but I could barely recognize the people here.
I scurry throw the crowd and stumble to the backyard, where there were more people scattered everywhere. My eyes light up when I spot Tyler and Stefan.
"Finally two people I know." I say with a smile, walking to them. "Who even are these people?" I ask and Tyler shrugs.
"Good evening everyone!"
I turn around and see Klaus standing on the stage with a microphone in his hand. "I want to thank you all for being here with me to celebrate." he says and the crowd cheers. "It's been a long time coming."

After about a few minutes, I spot Katherine, who is pretending to be Elena for our plan. We were quietly going over the plan when she mentions Klaus is on his way over.
As I assumed, he was going to talk to Elena, so I walk away quickly, but he ends up following after me.
Katherine gives me a look and I shoot one back at her, what was I supposed to say to him? Why is he walking over to me?
"Where's your date?" he asks me.
I slightly open my mouth, nothing coming out. He came all this way to ask if I had a date with me? I exhale a sharp breathe, trying to play it cool.
"No one asked me out." I reply, looking behind him to see Katherine smirking at me before scurrying off and blending in with the crowd.
"Now, why wouldn't anyone want to bring you as their date?" he asks, with a smirk and I stand there in awe, not knowing how to respond.
"Well... seems I have your sister to thank for Mikael's demise, but I cant seem to find her." he tells me and I shrug, "You just missed her." I reply and he nods.
"You seem nervous." Klaus states and I cross my arms at him, "I'm not nervous," I respond, making eye contact with him that held a long stare before I turn my head.
"Right. Straight to the point then, shall I, love?" he says, raising his eyebrows. I nod, waiting for him to continue.
"People have been after me for 1,000 years. And I am always one step ahead. So whatever it is you're thinking of trying, go for it, give it your best shot. You won't succeed." he tells me and I roll my eyes.
"It won't be for lack of trying." I start to walk away but, he stops me by grabbing my arm. He pulls me towards him, so that he was close to my ear. "Now you'd be smart to tell Damon to mind his manners tonight. 'Cause if I die, I've already insured that he'll die along with me."
"Even in death, my hybrids have their orders. So if you kill me, you're killing him too." he says and soon walks away.
§
"Damon? What are you doing here? Where's Mikael?!" I whisper, barely audible. He pulls me in a room and shuts the door. "We're about to start the plan. Here are your arrows." he says and hands me my bow and the arrows.
"Damon, you have to listen to me, Klaus has new hybrids sired to him and if you pull something on him, you'll die." I tell him and he nods. "It's cute that you care. Don't worry, we got that covered."
"Oh, yeah. Katherine mentioned Klaus was flirting with you." Damon smirks, raising his eyebrows up and down. I roll my eyes, "It wasn't flirting. He was just asking if I had a date or whatever." I respond, defensively.
"No, no, no. This is perfect. If Klaus likes you, you can just become a distraction for him. If things don't go as planned tonight." he tells me and waits for me to agree, which I do.
"Okay, fine. I'll distract him, if he likes me. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't. I mean, he barely knows me besides the fact that I'm Elena's sister and my name." I say and he nods, "Ah, you're a likable person."
"Alright, lets go." he says and we walk out of the room.
I furrow my eyebrows, "So what do I do?" I ask and he guides me to the side of the house. "I'm going to go back inside and do you see Mikael on the front porch?"
I nod and see Mikael talking to Klaus, who is inside the house. "Yeah, so all you have to do is shoot his hybrids if you want."
I turn around and face him. "Okay, I got it." I say and he nods, adding one last thing. "I'll be right inside. I'll be here if you need me."
I give him a look, "It's fine. I don't need your help. I got this." I tell him and he nods before flashing back inside.
After a few minutes of preparing my self, I lean my back against the house and watch as Mikael now as ahold of Katherine.
"I'm calling your bluff, father. Kill her." I hear Klaus say. "Come outside and face me, you little coward. And I won't have to." Mikael responds, and for some reason, I felt bad. I know I'm not supposed to, but in a way I did.
"My whole life you've underestimated me. If you kill her you lose your leverage. So go ahead. Go on. Kill her. Come on, old man. Kill her. Kill her!" Klaus retorts, which makes Mikael laugh.
"Your impulse, Niklaus. It has and will forever be the one thing that keeps you from truly being great." Mikael stabs Katherine with a dagger and she falls down on the door.
I knew this was my cue. So, I pull out my arrow and put it on my bow, before releasing it and let it hit a hybrid, and it soon it's the ground. And I kept doing that with the rest of my arrows, before Katherine gets back on her feet and throws the two wolfsbane grenades at the hybrids.
I turn back and see Klaus charging at Mikael with the white oak stake. I widen my eyes as Klaus shoves the stake into his father's heart and I watch as he burst into flames.
I turn around in disappointment and was on my way back to the backyard, when I was pushed back against the house. "What the bloody hell do you think you were doing?"
I try to escape his touch, but he was obviously much stronger than me. "Get off of me." I say, trying my hardest to get away.
He releases me, but I still could not leave. He's dangerously close to me. Klaus takes the arrows from my hand and snaps them apart. I widen my eyes in shock, then angrily glare at him.
"You honestly believe these will do harm on my hybrids?" he asks me and I grab the broken arrows back from him. "They manage to put down most of them." I say, getting fed up.
Klaus pulls my arm and pushes me against him. His breath so close to my ear, "Now, you mind your words, love. I'm sure your brother would like to keep his heart, wouldn't he?"
I turn to face him. "You are not going to touch him." I retort, not even caring about the fact that I'm behaving like this in front of the almighty hybrid.
"Don't touch my hybrids." he responds back, staring back into my eyes as I do too, only mine is full of pure hatred. He smiles, letting go of my arm. "Great! It's settled."
And with that, he disappears.
