Siren's POV
Day 10. I know this as I've been keeping a log on a piece of wood laying around. I look around at the huge field I'm on, it's open but the gamemakers didn't give us much else. I smile, thinking of the girl from 10 that I killed yesterday, seeing her body lifeless I would see again anyday. My smile turns into a grin as I realize I'm so close to the finale, having 4 people left. I see movement in the grass and grab my sword and bow, ready to use my bow to paralyze whatever they are, and finish them off with my sword. I see a short little girl wearing a jacket with the number 6 on it, nibbling on a cob of corn. I prepare to shoot her with a bow when I hear a loud bird call. I look up and see a huge flock of black birds, which I do not recognize one bit. I started running, having a huge fear of birds since I was little, and loaded an arrow ready to kill them. The little girl from 6 looks back and sees me, and just stands there like an idiot. The birds dive down as she stands there petrified, and I realize what they are... Mutts.
I see one of these monstrosities strike at her in the back, and as if in a blink of an eye, she sends out a high-pitched scream, trying to shoo away the birds but just collapses to the ground screaming over and over again, until I hear her canon. I grab my bow and I shoot one of the birds in the eye, sending the thing to the ground, and I rush to the cornucopia. I get to the cornucopia after shooting down a bunch of those mutts. I sit down in the bushes as the mutts fly away up the mountain looking for more victims, as I sharpen my weapons. After a while I hear screaming coming down the mountain. I jump out of the bushes and go towards the noise. I don't find anything but knives in birds, blood all over the place. I stand there in confusion until I hear something thrown towards me.

I roll out of the way and see the brat from 12. She throws another and it barely misses me right by my ear. I start running towards her but then a knife grazes my forehead, sending me to the ground and blood dripping down my face. I see the boy from 11 and decide my plan in a split second, I'll let the two fight and finish whoever wins. The girl spots him and stares at him. "Who are you?" she asks, confused,
"... Chaff" he says, staring at her. Her face lights up and throws a knife into his arm, stepping back scared off what he'll do. The boy lets out a cry of anger, rushes towards the girl. The girl throws another knife but misses by a long shot, which is her downfall when the boy grabs her neck and the girl says one last thing while crying,
"I'm Mist." Chaff snaps her neck and she collapses to the ground, and a canon can be heard. "I jump out and kick him in the chest, knocking him back. He grabs a sword and swipes at me, where I dodge. A huge fight breaks out between us and I seem to be getting the upper hand, I taunt him while we fight saying, "That guy that I stabbed, did you know him?" But I realize I made a mistake when I say, "Poor little girl from 10, did you like her?" My eyes widen as I realize what I've done, and Chaff rushes towards me and stabs me in the chest. I spit blood out of my mouth on him and he repeatedly stabs me, and the pain is explainable. "Just finish it, PLEASE!" I scream thinking of district 4 and how disappointed they must be, and he gives the final blow to my neck, and I lose sight of anything, not able to breathe.

Chaff's POV
I look at what looks like a human below me, and I hear a booming voice, "Chaff Mitchell, you are the victor of the 45th Hunger Games!"
