《Moving On || Jungkook x Reader》°Ch.59°

Walking down the streets of Busan I couldnt help but have my eyes wander around looking at every building and store that we passed. "Before we continue the tour lets go get something to eat first" nodding my head and simply following after him we walked into a nearby restaurant before taking our seats at a table. Looking around the restaurant it was small but felt very cozy, while still looking around I didnt notice the middle aged woman standing in front of the table until she spoke.
"Would you like to take your order now?? or do you both need more time??" snapping out of it I looked over at the lady not knowing what to say until Jungkook began to order food for the both of us. Once the lady wrote it down she nodded and took her leaving, looking across the table at Jungkook I quickly spoke "I-I didnt-" "Hey hey dont worry. This is one of my favorite places to eat when I come here so I wanted you to try my favorite dishes". After talking and getting all our food we began to eat and soon Jungkook spoke up. "I wanted to apologize for what my dad said this morning.." Tilting my head in confusion he continued "About the whole grandchildren situation. It must have been a bit uncomfortable for you"
Swallowing the food in my mouth I shook my head at his words before reassuring him "Ani... its okay Kook, they dont know about my condition so I cant get mad at them for saying what they said." "I-I know... but I thought I should still apologize." Sending him a small smile I continued to tell him that it was alright until he accepted it. After eating I paid for half of the meal before Jungkook and I left to continue walking. Minutes of walking I suddenly heard the sound of the ocean??? Looking around I didnt see any body of water anywhere, confused as to where the sound was coming from I could hear Jungkooks laugh. Turning to him he continued to laugh "Why are you laughing??? dont you hear it too??" I questioned still looking around contemplating whether or not I was slowly starting to lose my mind.
"No your not going crazy, just a few more minutes" he commented continuing to lead me somewhere. Hearing the crashing of waves become more clear, Jungkook and I pushed through a crowd until suddenly my feet were now standing on top of sand. Eyes widening I couldnt believe that we were now at the beach! Couples, families and other people playing in the water or just hanging out on the sand. (Wow...) I thought as my jaw hung low "Close your mouth, you're gaining unwanted attention" he said as he placed his hand under my chin to close my mouth.

"W-Where are we???" I questioned while looking out at the ocean. "This is Dadaepo beach... Its the closest one to the house. I used to come here a lot with my parents before when I was younger. I think the last time I came here was during my first year in High School... Kaja lets go sit down somewhere and rest for a bit" Leading me through the beach we saw some vacant chairs that were under a large umbrella.
Who knew that just staring out into the ocean would kill so much time. Before we both knew it was almost 6 in the evening. "Shall we go??" he questioned while standing up, reaching his hand out to me I placed my hand in his as he helped me stand up. As we left I just looked back at the ocean wanting to remember the beautiful view that was in front of me. "Are we heading back to the house now??" he shook his head "Ani, lets go get some dinner before we head back."
(Time Skip~ brought to you by your lazy author-nim)
After eating dinner with Jungkook we were now currently walking back to the house hand in hand. "Did you enjoy the weekend here??" he spoke up gaining my attention, with a smile on my face I looked up at him and nodded. "Ne... I really did. Thank you" Seeing his house in the distance we walked in silence until Jungkook stopped. Looking back at him confused he looked like he was in deep though about something. "Is everything okay?" seeing how he retracted his hand from mine he stuffed his hands into his pocket. (????) "Kook???" I called out to him again until he finally looked up at me. "Is everything okay?? is there something you want to talk about?"
He pursed his lips into a fine line before shaking his head "U-Uhmm.. i-its nothing! w-we should go now and get Taewoo ready since were heading back to Seoul now" He speeded passed me and towards the house while I followed after him. (Whats wrong with him??) I thought as we entered the house to see his parents in the middle of putting on Taewoos jacket. "oh you're back so soon??" Mrs.Jeon questioned while we both nodded. Seeing as there was a bit of distance between Jungkook and I she stood up "Is everything alright???" I looked over to Jungkook who nodded in response. "Ne just a little tired... dont worry Eomma. Anyways we better hit the road now before it gets late" He grabbed Taewoos bags while I made my way down the stairs to get my stuff.

Packing everything up and heading upstairs I saw Mr.Jeon standing there before he grabbed my bags from my hands. "I-Its alright! I-I can carry them" I reassured the older male but he shook his head "Ani~ I cant have my soon to be daughter in laugh carrying her own things" (W-What!??) feeling my cheeks flush at his comment he chuckled while we both walked outside towards Jungkooks car. Putting my bags away I thanked him, expecting him to just thank me back he suddenly pulled me into a hug. "Thank you for taking care of our Jungkook..." he pulled away before sending me a bright smile. "He can be a handful, and a bit of a airhead sometimes but I could tell he really cares for you. Take care of the both of them for us..."
Feeling my chest tighten up at his sweet words I nodded "I will... Thank you." getting into the car with Jungkook, he started the engine before we drove off back to Seoul. During the drive home it was peaceful and nice, conversating with Taewoo but for some reason it still felt like there was distance between Jungkook and I. Glancing back to see Taewoo fully asleep I sighed before turning to Jungkook. "Hey... you've been awfully quiet ever since the end of our date. Whats wrong???" Hmm?? o-oh... its nothing. Dont worry about it"
I knitted my brows at his words "Are you sure??? because if you want to talk about it we can right now.. Taewoo is sleeping" He shook his head "Its nothing Y/n.. dont worry about it okay?" Not believing his words I simply nodded not wanting to push it any further. But the longer the ride back to Seoul the more I grew anxious.
After a few hours Jungkook pulled up to the front of my apartment before unlocking the doors. Jungkook and I got out of the car and he helped give me my bags. "Ill see you tomorrow??" he questioned and I simply nodded. "Oh Y/n! your back!" hearing Jihoon running up to me with a bright smile I greeted him back. "Well we better head inside now since its late..." the smaller male commented, he was about to take my bags from me before Jungkook suddenly spoke up "J-Jihoon-ssi... could you stay by the car and watch Taewoo for me?? I-I need to talk to Y/n." Jihoon looked back and forth between Jungkook and I before nodding his head confused.
Without letting another second pass Jungkook grabbed my bags from my hand and walked into the apartment while I followed behind. The elevator ride up until we were now standing in front of my apartment door was painfully silent. "Y-You wanted to talk to me???" once again seeing him stuff his hands into his pockets I furrowed my brows as he stood there silently biting on the corner of his lip. "I-I wanted to say sorry..." "Sorry??? for wh-" "For everything... for everything Y/n. I-I know we already talked about it and that we moved on but I couldnt help but feel guilty everyday knowing what I did to you."
"J-Jungkook... i-its okay.. " He heaved a heavy sigh before suddenly taking out a small box from the pocket of his jacket. "I-I was going to give this to you back in Busan but I got too nervous and ended up not doing it.." "Is that why you were so quiet??" slowly nodding his head I scoffed while shaking my head. "Why??" "B-Because I didnt know if it was the best time to give it to you..." Opening the box a smile tugged at my lips as I looked down at the present. "You got this for me?? w-when??" "Well... I got it a few months before our anniversary but because of what I happened I didnt think I was ever going to be able to give it to you.. b-but here we are right! haha...." he awkwardly laughed while covering his face with one of his hands.
"D-Do you want me to put it on you???" he stuttered out making a small giggle escape my lips. Nodding my head he took the jewelry out of the box before walking behind me. Feeling the cold chain touch my skin I flinched a little bit at his touch. "I-I think I put it on properly.." he commented while stepping away from me. Pulling my phone out I turned on my front camera to see the necklace dangling from my neck "Its beautiful Kook... really.."

The Tears of Kas̆dael
It was just supposed to be a game. A really, really great game, yes - but a game. Instead, Jasper got his heart ripped out by a brooding goddess and awoke to find himself in another world. No weapons, no skills. Naked. Trapped in a world full of ancient horrors, where gods and monsters still roam the earth, Jasper is forced to adapt quickly or die - and he's not ready to die. Good thing he's a mage. This is a high-fantasy novel with light LitRPG elements. It's not super-crunchy, but the system is an important part of the story. There is some light cursing and gore, but this is not a Grimdark novel. There will also be no harem. The current schedule is chapters on M-W-F of around 2000-2500 words, as well as occasional bonus chapters that provide background or insights into side characters. This is my first real attempt at writing a full novel, but the story is based on a world that I've been creating and re-creating since I was a child. I have an extensive "history" and religion, and even a semi-cohesive language system worked out, which will hopefully slowly shine through as the story progresses. I want to avoid having too many info-dumps, so I may from time to time post a bonus lore chapter that will explain some of the background for any who are interested.
