The Next Day~

Waking up early in the morning I turned over and checked the time, rubbing my eyes I squinted at my phone and read '6:45 a.m'. Slowly getting up from my bed and walking to the washroom I looked at myself in the mirror and sighed (I cant believe it swelled up this much over night...) I thought while shaking my head. Pulling my phone out I made a quick phone call to Mingyu explaining to him that I would not be able to come into school today. Not questioning why I wasnt coming in I hung up the phone and sprawled myself out on my bed.

(Why did things have to turn out this way....) I thought to myself until I heard loud knocking coming from my door. Pushing myself up from my bed and walking to the front door I looked through the peep hole and saw Jihoon standing there with his arms crossed. Opening the door he stormed his way in, (????) confused at the sudden intrusion while closing the door. I followed behind him towards the couch and stood there as he sat down. "Whats wrong." he simply questioned making me raise a brow. He looked at me blankly "You heard me, I asked you whats wrong. Mingyu suddenly texted me saying you werent coming in. The only time you dont come to work is when your either sick, or because something happened. Your clearly healthy... not you better tell me the truth about what actually happened to your cheek the other day."

"J-Jihoon.. I-I" "Dont you dare lie to me. Im your best friend Y/n, I-I tell you everything... why cant you do the same? w-whats happening to you??" Feeling my chest ache at his words I slowly walked towards him and sat down beside him, glancing over at him I hesitantly placed my hand on top of his. "Jihoon... I-Im sorry. Im sorry that I didnt tell you what happened. I-I thought I shouldnt tell others because I didnt want them to feel sorry for me. I wanted to handle things on my own. B-But please dont tell anyone... please"

He looked at me concerned and nodded until I took a deep breath in. "M-Minji came here the other night. S-She slapped me." Jihoon looked at me with wide eyes "e-excuse me??" I sighed "She slapped me Jihoon... and told me that Jungkook is only with me to forget about Minji, that he would never pick me because shes the mother of Taewoo and im just a plain nobody." Disbelief written on his face he let go of my hand and stood up "J-Jungkook?! W-What did he say?! w-where is he!?" I shook my head "I didnt tell him. I mean... I wish I could, but for the past few days hes been avoiding all my calls and ignoring all my texts too. So its basically me fighting this battle on my own."

While sitting in silence with Jihoon we both turned our head towards the door where we heard multiple knocks. (???) "were you expecting visitors?" Jihoon asked as he walked to the door but I shook my head. Opening the door we both saw the group of guys standing there before running into the apartment with worried looks. "Is it true?" Namjoon asked while pointing at my still swollen cheek. "what???" I looked towards Jimin as he bit down on his lower lip, obviously he was the one who told them about what happened. Heaving a heavy sigh i nodded "ne, its the truth... did Jungkook say anything?" they all looked at each other before turning towards me again "Jungkook actually doesnt know, hes been so busy with work... hes barely home again" I sighed while nodding my head a bit relieved that he didnt know about the situation. "Y/n... why did she do that to you?" Hobi asked and I explained to them what happened from start to finish.

"So she thinks that Jungkook would choose her over you just because shes the mother of Taewoo?!" I nodded "Ne... she then told me that even though she left they didnt really break off their engagement. So their technically still engaged." I bit down on my lower lip to contain my tears from spilling. "Oh Y/n... I dont know what to say, but I know for a fact that Jungkook would never leave you for her. You know what she did to him, you know their past. Ever since he met you hes changed and for the good too, so dont-" *Knock Knock* Jimin stood up and walked to the door opening it to reveal the one and only Minji standing there with a bright smile on her face.

"OH MY GOD! BOYS!!!" she chimed as she wrapped her arms around Jimin pulling him into a hug before he forcefully pushed her away. "What the hell do you want Minji? why are you here..." Minji pouted before carelessly walking into my apartment. "I saw you guys walking in, I didnt know if it was you all but im glad I came here to see! I missed you all so much... but why are you all here at her apartment? do you know each other?" Jin looked at me before standing up "Dont you think its a bit rude to walk into someones apartment without knowing who they are?" they all crossed their arms while looking at her with nasty looks. She widened her eyes before looking at me with a glare. "I actually do know her... she is my neighbor after all right Y/n?" she put a fake smile on her lips while staring at me. Expecting me to say yes and go along with her schemes I was about to answer until Yoongi walked in front of me "You know Y/n?? now was this before you hit her? or after??"

Minji looked at all of us in disbelief before she giggled "So you told them about what happened huh? Well i guess since they know I dont need to put on this fake personality for you all. Anyways since the cats out of the bag I should just speak my mind then, you all know that Jungkook loved me...-" "Yes 'loved' which is past tense, which means that was before and not know" Hobi interrupted.

She scoffed while taking her leave but before she was fully out of my apartment she stopped and turned to all of us. "In the end, you'll all realize that I was right... Jungkook will only love me." Once she walked out and the door closed I looked around the room as everyone was finally able to breathe. "I cant believe she said all of that to us..." Hobi commented but Jin and Yoongi shrugged "I always knew she was two-faced since the beginning..." Tae sat down beside me with Jimin and wrapped their arms around my shoulder "Are you still worried?" they both asked in unison and I nodded. "Of course... who wouldnt be worried. I mean the mother of his child and ex fiance suddenly showed up and assuming she moved on here he is trying to get back into the picture. And I fear that she might be right... "

Time Skip~

After spending a few hours comforting Y/n and making sure she was alright we decided it was time to head back to Jungkooks place since Jiwoo noona notified us that she picked up Taewoo from school. Entering the house we were surprised to hear laughter coming from within, taking our shoes off and walking into the living room there was Jiwoo noona in the kitchen while Taewoo was playing with.. Jungkook. He looked at us and smiled "Hey! where did you guys all go? I was surprised to come home and see that Jiwoo noona was with Taewoo instead of you all."

We all silently walked over and sat on the couch causing Jungkook to look at us all confused. "Are you guys alright?? did something happen while I was gone?" we didnt tell him what happened but instead Jiwoo noona spoke up "Oh Jungkook-ssi, how is Y/n? is she alright?" with Jiwoo initiating the conversation Jungkook awkwardly scratched his neck before stuttering on his words "u-uh shes b-been good! why do y-you ask?" "oh really??? Taewoo told me that she wasnt at school today, that they were told she was sick. Have you checked up on her lately?" Jungkook averted his eyes not wanting to make any eye contact with us. Expecting him to tell the truth he nodded "N-Ne! I-I checked up on her today. Shes feeling a bit under the weather b-but nothing s-serious..."

"Liar." we all turned to face Tae as he stared blankly at Jungkook. He was confused as to why Tae said that but we cant blame him... he doesnt know that we ALL know the truth. "did you just call me a liar Tae?" the younger raised a brow while Tae stood up and walked over to him. Towering over him as Jungkook was still seated on the ground he crossed his arms. "Yeah I called you a liar. Because thats what you are right now..."

Jungkook stood up and looked him in the eyes "I was telling the truth, I checked up on Y/n today. I went to her apartment! do you think I would lie about her he-" "NO YOUR NOT KOOK! Your just telling us all lies to try and not worry us! but we know the truth! we know you havent been answering her calls or texts. We know you werent at her place today-" "HOW DO YOU KNOW TAE?!-" "BECAUSE WE WERE THERE. WE WERE AT HER PLACE, WE WENT TO GO VISIT HER WHILE YOU IGNORED HER"

We all stared at them, the room fell silent and before anyone could say anything Jiwoo stormed into the living room and picked up Taewoo who was shaken up at the scene. She passed us all before turning to Jungkook "We get what your trying to do Jungkook-ssi.. but how your doing it isnt right. Think about how Y/n feels right now.." before the maknae could say anything Jiwoo walked up the stairs bringing Taewoo to his room. It was still silent, it wasnt awkward but the air in the room was heavy and it was hard to breathe. I stood up and placed my hand on Taes shoulder "Tae... lets speak about this properly. No yelling.. no calling each other out.. lets talk about this like adults." Tae kept his eyes on Jungkook before scoffing and returning back to the couch. Jungkook looked at us while pursing his lips together not really knowing how to start until Namjoon spoke up.

"Why are you ignoring her... Kook dont get us wrong, we understand the situation. But dont you think what your doing is affecting your relationship with Y/n??" "A-Affecting my relationship with Y/n?? h-how so??" (is this kid dumb.. or is he ... dumb?) "Kook... ever since you ran into Minji you've been working more, picking up more shifts. Y/ns been worried about you... constantly texting and calling you just to check up on you. She has things she wants to tell you but what are you doing? Ignoring her... leaving her in the dark. Its like you just dropped her."

Jungkook looked at us then to the floor in silence until Yoongi continued "You dont even know what happened to her lately, what shes been going through. You were supposed to her go to person, her shoulder to lean and cry on. Shes been going through something all by herself with no one to talk to." "S-Something happened to her?? w-what happened.. i-is she a-alright?!" No one answered him, instead of repeating himself he took his phone out and tried to call Y/n but she ignored his calls. Trying and trying he stopped and looked at us with worry...

"I-I have to go..."
