Its been 5 years since Minji left our lives... and everything has been the same since then, but less stressful. I was now living on my own with Taewoo, its been hard since he would constantly ask about Minij. Always asking 'where is mommy?' 'do I have a mommy??' along with 'Papa where did mommy go?? Is she coming back soon?' I could never answer his questions truthfully because since hes only 5 I didnt want to disappoint him. To keep my mind off of Minji I would work everyday, I would pick up double shifts just to drain my mind of Minji.
I got home around 10 at night and I was greeted by Taewoo running up to me hugging my leg "your not asleep yet??" I questioned as he looked up at me with his big doe eyes. "Sorry Kook, little guy really didnt want to go to sleep yet..." Jimin hyung commented while standing up from the couch, shaking my head I sent him a smile "No dont apologize hyung its all good. But thank you for being able to watch him" Jimin walked up to me and pulled me into a hug "Dont worry about it Kook, anything for you" Afterwards hyung left leaving me with a very hyper toddler. "Okay Taewoo, its time for bed! you have school tomorrow" I called out to him and he ran into his room.
"Papa! are you coming to school this week???" he suddenly questioned leaving me confused. "Hmm??" "Appa... its bring your parent to school this week... remember?" parting my lips I realized that I totally forgot. "I-Im sorry Taewoo... Appa has work this week..." Seeing a frown on his face appear obviously disappointed he tried to shake it off and smile at me weakly. "I-Its alright papa... I know your busy" Without letting me speak he crawled into his bed hiding under his blanket turning his back to me. I let out a broken sigh before turning off his lights walking back to my room.

Sitting down on the edge of my bed I brought my face into my hands "Things would have been so much easier if you were here Minji... I cant do this without you"
Nearly 5 Years later and Im living my life the best way I can. It was hard trying to get over Jongin since I honestly thought he was the love of my life. He completed me but in the end I guess I just wasnt enough for him. I'll admit it was very hard trying to meet new people after Jongin... I was scared to fall deeply in love with someone because I knew if I ever was put in the spot where they wanted a child... I would just disappoint them, then they would just leave me like Jongin. I didnt want to go through all of that again.
Since I wasnt able to have a child I spent most of my time in college to become a teacher... and Im proud to say that it was a huge success for me! Im now an elementary teacher and I love every second of it... Working with kids, treating them as if they were my own.
Waking up to my alarm clock I lazily reached over and turned it off. Sitting up I yawned while stretching my arms over my head. I pushed myself off the bed and got ready for the day remembering that today was 'bring your parent to school' week. I dressed appropriately enough to make a good first impression on the parents since I havent officially met or introduced myself to them.
I grabbed my backpack and left my apartment, taking the bus to work since I was too lazy to drive. It was a beautiful day out and I was just in the mood to enjoy what nature had to offer. Finally after 30 minutes I arrived to work and was greeted by the other teachers. "Y/n!! my baby!!~" one of my coworkers yelled while smothering me with a hug.
"Jihoon please let me go..." I commented while finally pushing him away. "Hey dont treat me like that, im older than you" I stared at him blankly before smirking "Jihoon-ssi you may be older but your height says your 14" He looked at me offended but we both laughed it off. "Yah! Im not that short! Im still taller than you" "Thats because of your insoles~" I replied while walking away. I laughed while making my way to my classroom, Jihoon was one of my closest friends in and out of work... hes been my shoulder to cry on when things got hard for me and he was always there to help me whenever I needed him, and he was there when I finally got over Jongin. He was the music teacher in our school and hes adorable because hes rather short.

Walking into my classroom I took my cardigan and backpack off putting in on my chair while taking my organizer out reviewing what we were going to do today. Since It was elementary there were no designated classrooms for specific subjects. I kind of taught everything to the kids since they were only in Kindergarten. I looked at the time and saw that the kids would be coming in anytime now with their parents by their sides. "Miss Y/n!!!" voices interrupted, shooting my head to the door I saw several of my students walk in.
With a bright smile appear on my face I walked up to them greeted them. "Good morning Sooyeon, Haneul, James, Minho, Minwoo, Jennie, and.... JB!" They all ran over to me hugging my legs. "Miss Y/n we brought our parents!!" they all said in unison while pointing at the door where several parent(s) walked in with smiles. "Mama! Papa!! this is Miss Y/n!!" they all yelled while running over to their parent(s).
They dragged their parent(s) over to me and I reached my hand out shaking theirs. "So your Miss Y/n, my son Minwoo has told me so much about you... Its so nice to finally meet his favorite teacher. My name is Kyungsoo" Greeting the parents one by one I finally got to know everyones parents.... Until Leanne came in with someone I would have never expected to meet.
"I brought my dad!!!" she yelled while dragging her 'dad' towards me. His eyes locked onto his phone not realizing who was in front of him. "papa this is my teacher.. Miss Y/n!" she chimed making him slowly lift his head. Eyes finally locking with mine I watched a his eyes widen , speechless upon seeing me I played it off and smiled holding my hand out for him to shake.
He hesitated at first but soon placed his hand in mine. "Its very nice to meet you.. Leanne has told me so much about you, my name is Y/n" his lips parted still shocked seeing me but he returned the greeting. "U-Uhmm.. nice to meet you, my name is Jongin. T-Thank you so much for watching over my daughter" he said awkwardly, I was trying to pull my hand away but he gripped onto it tightly not letting me go until I quickly yanked my hand away.
Everyone was with their parents but I knew someone was missing.... "Miss Y/n!!!" A smile evident on my face as I turned my head to the door. "Taewoo you made it!" I said excitedly as he ran over to me hugging my leg. "Did you bring your mom or dad with you today??" I questioned earning a small pout from him while he slowly shook his head. "Miss Y/n.. papa said he wont be able to make it.. he has work" I could hear the sadness in his voice. My heart ached seeing him like this and I felt bad.. he was at that age where he needs love and attention from his parents and for the past few weeks since school started I noticed how sad he was whenever we got onto the topic of parents... "Its alright Taewoo.. maybe he'll come tomorrow" I reassured him as he slowly walked off to his desk.

Someday, he’ll find where his family went. Someday, he’ll uphold his end of the bargain and hunt beings powerful beyond anything he’s ever known. Someday, he might even – hatch? “CHEEP!?” Things to Know: -Cheep!? Will release on a minimum weekly schedule. -After a backlog of chapters, posting will slow, but in the interim you can expect a chapter a day up until roughly 25 chapters. -This story at times will potentially carry some heavy moments, but the tone is intended to be lighter overall. -There are invisible game-like elements in this story, but nothing so concrete as a dedicated gamelit novel. -I personally have some issues with anxiety, so I may or may not interact with the community a lot. I'll try if anyone has questions, but I can't guarantee that it'll be consistent. -MC is a non-human lead, and will never actually become human. Romance will potentially happen between side-characters, but not with the MC. -MC IS NOT THE ONLY VIEW POINT. I have to put that out there because people sometimes hate alternate PoV's in a story. None of them will be filler, and they'll be there only to give a little bit more nuance and meaning to the world that the MC has stepped in, or is about to be imminently important. I'll try to keep them down, but this also helps to prevent me from burning out getting trapped in one view. -Most of all, I hope that this story is enjoyable to you, and that you have a great time reading it! -Written by Michael Adams, Cowritten/Edited by Summer Kent

Ghost Girl had no name or she didn’t want to use it, for she… is dead. Ghosts like her appeared due to lingering attachments to the physical world or unfinished business. Her unfinished business were her horrible parents! She will haunt them. Or kill them! Thus, the haunting (killing) adventures of Ghost Girl. Image drawn by Lizalot. I thought this image was a great fit as a cover.

When her new home comes under attack by vicious monsters, Auriel is approached by a mysterious organization willing to undo her brand and provide her with what she seeks, but for a peculiar price. ~Notes~ -First novel/story posted by me, so will be experimenting with it quite a bit. Writing this as a light novel, but will consider going further. -Primarily hard fantasy, with occasional sci-fi elements mixed in. -Planned weekly releases (though I still work full time so hey, the schedule might be a bit irregular). -A shift in scenes is signaled by the symbol ~X~ Please leave any constructive feedback, I'd love to make this story the best version of itself!
