3rd POV:
Y/N is just coming back from the bar. he opens his front door, goes in and closes the door behind him. When he is inside he leans against the door and runs his hand through his hair while he sighs. Nick's problem may be solved for now, but Y/N can't shake the feeling that it won't stay that way for long. His thoughts are interrupted when he notices three pop stars sitting on the sofa and staring at him.
"Hey what are you guys watching" He asks as he walks in her direction and points to the running television.
"Just some film no idea, where were you" Akali asks as she takes the control and turns off the television.
"Oh don't worry about it, a friend from work needed help with something." Answers Y/N and the girls nod. He takes the holster from his belt and puts it and the gun back into the safe that stands next to the sofa. When Ahri and Akali see the weapons, they flinch a little but quickly calm down. Eve stands up and walks to Y/N and puts her hand on his chest and grins at him.
"And what are you doing with that gun darling~" eve asks as she tries to reach into the still open safe to retrieve the gun but before she can Y/N grabs her arm and stops her before she can reach the gun.
"Don't do that Evelynn, cut the crap and get your fucking hand out of there. And while we're at it, don't touch me." Says Y/N loudly Ahri and Akali are shocked by his answer even eve is taken aback for a moment but quickly catches herself again. She takes her hand out of the safe but her other hand stays on Y/N's chest and she comes even closer to him.
"Why are you in such a bad mood, darling?~" She asks with a whisper as she brings her face close to his.
"Believe me I'm anything but in a bad mood however I'm not in the mood for your bullshit so GET. AWAY. FROM. ME." After she hears this, eve reluctantly steps away from Y/N and sits back down on the sofa without saying one more word. Ahri and Aklai are shocked they have never seen anyone stand up to Eve before but Y/N is not surprised by her reaction he has always been one of the few if not the only person who could counter Eve. He never had any problems to see through her and therefore eve's behavior never had any influence on Y/N except that it often pissed him off.
"where is Kai'sa?" asks von to change the subject. he goes to the table in the corner of the living room on where a few bottles of alcohol are standing. The girls are a bit hesitant to answer but after a few seconds Akali answers while Y/N pours himself a drink.
"eh she is in your garden as wanted to think alone for a bit." After hearing this, Y/N stops pouring his drink, takes the bottle and two glasses before heading out the door.

"Wait, I think she wants to be left in peace." eve calls after him but Y/N just keeps on walking.
"Thanks for your opinion Evelynn, but unfortunately I didn't ask." Y/N says back before going out the door.
Y/N's POV:
When I get outside I see Kai'sa sitting on the bench in the back corner of my garden so I walk up to her. as I walk to her I think of the day I met her. Back then my life was simple I had parents who loved me and I was about to meet one of my best friends. God I miss that time.
13 years earlier:
Ahri eve and I are sitting in the cafeteria of our school. The two of them are talking about something, but I'm barely listening. My thoughts are on the girl sitting a few tables away. I have never seen her here before she is sitting there all alone I feel sorry for her why is she sitting there all alone.
"Hey Y/N where are you with your thoughts?" Ahri asks while tugging at my arm. I break out of my thoughts and look at Ahri who is looking at me worriedly.
"Sorry foxy I was deep in thought what were you guys talking abo... Wait a minute I'll be right back." I get up and go to the girl while Ahri and eve look after me in confusion. I arrive at the table and sit down the girl is a bit scared and looks at me with a questioning look
"Hi my name is Y/N are you new here?" I ask with a smile but she does not answer she seems very shy and as if she does not know what to say.
"Y-Yes I a-am, hello my n-name is K-Kai'sa" She answers trying to avoid eye contact with me. She is really very shy but that is kind of cute.
"This is a beautiful name. Would you like to sit with me and my friends?" I ask as I point to Ahri and eve. Kai'sa thinks about it for a few seconds before her face suddenly looks sad.
"N-No t-thank you." she replies.
"Why not?" I ask I am a little sad that she does not want to come to us.
"I don't like t-talking to people. A-And I'm sure I'll be moving a-again soon why should I even try to f-find friends"
"Then you can sit with us until you move away. come on, you'll like them. it can't hurt." I say while standing up and holding out my hand to her. She thinks for a bit but then gets up takes my hand and we go to the others. While we walk she is blushing all the time and never looks me in the eyes.
Present time:
She then obviously did not move away we quickly became friends and she started to trust me. I sit down next to Kai'sa on the bench but we don't say anything she just looks straight ahead without acknowledging my presence. I put the glasses down and pour us both a glass of whiskey. I hand her one of the glasses she takes it and drinks a little sip.

"I don't want to talk about it Y/N." Kai'sa whispers with her eyes on the ground. I nod, I understand how she feels I have been through a lot of shit in my life but yet never wanted to talk about any of it. This may not be the healthiest method but it works in the short term.
"you don't have to talk to me. but I'm not going anywhere." I answer while taking a big sip from my glass.
"You are wasting your time." She says
"Okay, but do you want me to leave?" I ask but I already know the answer if she is anything like the Kai'sa I remember the Kai'sa I loved and who was like family to me, she says she wants to be alone but the opposite is true. She just doesn't want to bother anyone with her problems. She is silent for a few seconds but then she answers.
"...No, please stay." I hear her whisper just loud enough to hear it. I put my arm around her shoulder she flinches but quickly calms down and leans her head against me. I don't say a word, I know that right now it wouldn't do any good if she wants to talk to me, she will say something. neither of us says anything for minutes. I would love to help her but I don't know how, I've certainly experienced almost every kind of trauma but I don't know the slightest thing about what she has experienced.
"Ahri told you what happened?" She asks
"Yeah, she did. I'm so sorry this happened to you Kai'sa." I say softly and hold her closer to me.
"why?" She asks a little louder
"What do you mean, why?" I ask puzzled and look at them. what kind of question is that?
"Why should you feel sorry for me after we just left you like that? I deserved this. I am a terrible person. She says loudly while jumping up from the bench, which catches me a bit off guard. I get up from the bench and lift her chin so she looks at me as she looks at me I take her hands in mine.
"Kai'sa you are far from being a bad person. Do you seriously think you deserve to be almost abused because of a bad decision you made 10 years ago? Yes you left me and that was shitty of you but to think that you deserve something like that is by far the stupidest thing I have ever heard!" I shout . what the fuck is wrong with her that she thinks she deserves something like this?! she looks at me a bit shocked and tears well up in her eyes, Shit i think that was a bit too much
"W-Why don't you h-hate me after what we did to y-you? You went through so m-much and we w-weren't there." she says while tears are running down her cheeks now. I sit down on the bench with a sigh and knock on the other side of the bench so that she sits down. she sits down and I put my arm around her shoulders again and look her in the eyes.
"I was mad at you for a long time because you left, but honestly, I can't do that anymore. I don't really know why but even after all these years you are important to me and I could never hate you. And yes I have experienced a lot of shit but I have never made you responsible for it. it would not have made any difference whether you were there or not, my parents would still have died, I would still have ended up in the orphanage the only thing that would be different is that I would not be in the military but I am honestly quite happy about it." I say calmly I just don't want to bother being mad at her anymore.
"How about we both forget what happened and start over?" The second I finish my sentence, Kai'sa throws her arms around my neck and cries into my chest. I take her in my arms and chuckle a little .
"Thank you Y/N, thank you so much!" She mumbles into my shoulder.
"No problem bookie" I answer
"Bokkie?" She says while she takes her head out of my chest and looks at me in confusion.
"yes, I mean I gave you the nickname why shouldn't I call you that?" after hearing this she smiles at me. I get up from the bench and look at her.
"I'm going in. I'm tired, I'll see you tomorrow." I say with a smile
"See you Y/N." she answers I go back into the house as I walk through the living room I see the other three still sitting on the sofa talking about something but I don't have the energy to talk now.
"Night girls" I say as I walk up the stairs
"Wait Y/N can we talk for a moment?" Akali calls after me. I stop on the stairs and look in their direction.
"Can we please talk tomorrow Akali I'm tired as shit." she just nods. thank god I don't feel like having any more serious conversations in one day. I go to my room change and go to bed it does not take long until I fall asleep. Half asleep I hear how the doors of the guest rooms are closed they have probably settled in when I was away.

He was hellbent on revenge, and he was determined to drag me down with him. This story is meant to be a bit of a mix of genres and cultures, so there are some elements that may seem xianxia like, but it's not exactly the same so I didn't tag it. It also has multiple lead characters but is written in first person. Schedule: Dropped Normal Chapter Length: approximately 3000 words Warning: Tagged [15+] for Strong Language and Violence (Gore and Profanity aren't very prevalent, but I added the warning tags just in case).
