Katsuki's POV:
It was finally time for Shōto and I to get our piercings. Truth be told, I'd been wanting to get my nipples pierced ever since I was in my late teens, but I never took the initiative to actually go through with it until now.
Shōto was to my surprise shaking in his boots as he apparently had a phobia for needles and syringes, but despise that, he still insisted on getting his tongue pierced.
"Promise you'll hold my hand..."
I chuckled as this new side of him was terribly adorable.
"I promise. You'll get through it just fine, trust me. The needle itself won't hurt that much; the pain will come later once your tongue swells up."
Shōto's gave was instantly drained of its colour once he heard "swells up".
"For how long will it be swollen..?"
I thought for a moment before answering his question.
"Four to ten days or so? It won't keep you from drinking or talking though. However, make sure to only eat liquid food the first days."
He nervously nodded, obviously not looking forward to the healing process.
I pitied him, but at the same time I felt the urge to tease him.
Grabbing his hand, I led him inside the studio with a few reassuring words.
We were instantly greeted by an employee who was covered with tattoos. She also had plenty of piercings in her face.
"Welcome! Do you have an appointment?"
I explained the details, chose our jewellery and then we were led into a smaller room.
"Who's going first?" The piercer asked with a friendly look on her face, clearly noticing Shōto's discomfort.
"I am." I replied, wondering if my decision was a wise one or if me going first would scare Shōto away.
The piercer nodded and asked me to take my shirt off and lay down on a bed.
After a few adjustments, I'd managed to decide where exactly I wanted my piercings to be.
The piercer grabbed her tools and told me to take a deep breath as she got into position.
Before I knew it she'd pushed the needle through my nipple, and I'd be lying if I said it didn't hurt like a bitch.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck!" I cursed as she pulled the jewellery through the hole.
Shōto was as pale as a ghost as he observed the process.
Once the jewellery was in, the pain instantly decreased, and frankly it wasn't too bad.
"There we go! First one is done!" The piercer merrily exclaimed.

I sighed in relief.
"It didn't hurt as much as I thought. I'm ready for the next one."
I mainly said those words to relieve Shōto as I knew his piercing wouldn't hurt as much as mine and wouldn't take as long to heal either.
The piercer once again got into position and this time she didn't have to tell me to take a deep breath as I did that on my own.
Once again I felt the intense, but short lived pain of the needle and jewellery entering, but before long, my second piercing was done too.
I glanced over at Shōto with a proud grin on my lips as I got up from the bed.
"What do you think?" I asked.
He snapped out of his thoughts and took a good look at my torso.
"They look really pretty!"
For a moment it seemed as if he'd completely forgotten about his fears as his face lit up at the sight of my piercings.
"I know right? Now it's your turn, babe."
Shōto clenched his fists and exhaled.
"Yes."
He sounded surprisingly determined, but the nervousness was still hidden in his gaze.
He approached the bed and laid down on it, receiving a gentle smile from the piercer who without a doubt pitied him.
They proceeded with marking out the place to be pierced and once they were ready to go, I went over to Shōto's side and grabbed his hand as promised.
"Okay! Are you ready?" The piercer asked.
Shōto glanced at me, squeezing my hand before nodding in response.
He closed his eyes as the piercer closed in with the needle.
The needle went through his tongue smoothly, which was to no surprise as we'd been careful picking our piercing studio, making sure to have picked the one of the best piercers in Tokyo.
He groaned a bit once the needle had entered, squeezing my hand a bit harder, but that was it.
She left the needle in Shōto's tongue for a brief moment as she grabbed the jewellery which she with ease slid into the hole while she at the same time took out the needle. She finished off by attaching the small, silver, globular screw which was identical to the screw on the other end of the barbell.
Shōto's POV:
Strangely enough, it wasn't even nearly as painful as I'd expected it to be. Rather than painful, it actually felt more weird and unpleasant. Sure, it did sting, but it certainly wasn't that big of a deal. I hadn't gotten anything pierced before, so it was definitely an unfamiliar and terribly uncomfortable experience.

The piercer handed me a hand mirror, her smile now wider, as if she was proud of me for being able to go through with getting pierced even though I had a phobia for needles and syringes. Frankly, it was a tad embarrassing that she'd noticed.
I held the mirror up in front of my face and opened my mouth to see a silver ball on top of my tongue. I carefully lifted my tongue to see another ball as well as a peek of the barbell that went through my tongue.
Despite the discomfort, I regretted nothing. I was genuinely fond of it and the silver complimented my left eye very well as it happened to be grey.
I shifted my gaze to Katsuki who was grinning from ear to ear, looking extremely pleased when I showed him the piercing properly.
"Fucking hell! It looks so damn sexy!" He exclaimed without a second thought about our surroundings.
The piercer just laughed as she didn't seem to mind his vulgar way of phrasing himself.
"Katsuki... Thank you, but aren't you being a little bit improper..? We're in public.."
Katsuki narrowed his eyes, his grin turning into a toothy one.
Not good. Whenever he made that face, he always ended up having some kind of mischievous and often humiliating scheme which he had a tendency to actually act out on.
"We're paying and going home before Aka-chan ends up getting way too spoiled by Midoriya. Also that look on your face is bad news, so we should leave before you get any stupid ideas and end up embarrassing us both."
Katsuki clicked his tongue, rolling his eyes as he was caught before he could do something.
I directed a polite smile towards the piercer and she led us out of the room, back to the cash desk. She typed in the price which I was happy to pay judging by how professionally and quickly she'd worked.
Once we'd paid, I almost had to drag Katsuki out of there as he probably didn't feel like going home just yet. However, as much as I wanted to enjoy our rare time outside of the house, I could feel my tongue swelling up in my mouth.
"Hey.. Are we really going home so soon..? Can't we have Deku watch Aka-chan for another hour at least? We haven't been on a date in forever."
Hearing him speak with such a soft voice made it really hard for me to refuse, so I simply had to tell him why that was a bad idea.
"Sorry, baby. You see.. My tongue.. it-.. it's swelling..."
The realisation was clear on his face as his lips was shaped into a silent "oh".
"I see, I see. I should drive for safety's sake. Just promise we'll go on a date once your swelling is over, ya hear me?"
With a soft snicker, I nodded.
"I promise. Midoriya would be delighted to watch Aka-chan anyway."
A grin widened across Katsuki's lips.
"Yeah. I know I can trust the brat with that damn nerd. Worst thing that could happen is that she ends up catching his nerdiness."
According to me, it would be a good thing for Akatsuki to learn from Midoriya as he was a very capable, kind and quick-witted person who'd definitely have a good influence on Akatsuki.
Katsuki and I were both intelligent, but Katsuki was horrible at teaching as he came to conclusions without having a process in his thinking, so he simply just thought the conclusions were obvious. His bad temper didn't make him easier to understand either.
"Hey! Are you listening, punk?"
Suddenly I was brought out of my thoughts by Katsuki's loud voice.
"Oh, sorry. I spaced out."
He rolled his eyes in annoyance and grabbed me by the hand, dragging me along to the car.
"You're so slow sometimes, dumbass! Stop spacing out all the time, or you'll get hurt one day!" He exclaimed.
He was most certainly right. I did have a tendency to space out a lot and I had been awfully close to being hit by a car not only once, but four times during my teens. I also broke two of my ribs, my left collarbone and my wrist when I'd just gotten my driving license. I got into an accident because I lost focus on the road for a moment, but ever since that time, I'd been very attentive while driving.
Katsuki shook his head with a sigh as he noticed how I was drifting back into my thoughts again.
He grabbed the car keys from my pocket and unlocked the car.
"Snap out of it and get in!"
I did as told and got inside the car, Katsuki following right after. He turned it on and was quick to leave the parking spot. He was an amazing, but daring driver. Rules weren't really his thing unless he happened to see a police car nearby. That wasn't the worst thing about Katsuki driving though..
His terrifying road-rage was...
