i have trained with my pokemon yesterday

they have full rest at night . we are prepared . we also made strategies for the battle. we mean charmeleon and mankey .

3rd pov

kenta is currently traveling to the pewter gym from the pokemon centre . after his pokemon were healed by nurse joy

kenta while traveling made strategies in his own mind . he finally arrived to the pokemon gym after some time

The entire theme of the gym is obviously rock-themed. kenta very much liked the infrastructure of the gym , it made him get motivated to build his own mansion and his own company which he plan after the league.

"Hello there , are you a challenger? " suddenly brock who appeared on the stage asked kenta

"Yes " Kenta replied

the entire consists of hard rocks with rough surface , fitting of a rough habitat for pokemon. its a clear advantage of water,fighting, rock and ground types here

kenta is no fool , he also took the field effects of the gym , its no brainer that certain fields boosts or reduces the effects of pokemon . unfortunately kenta don't have clear advantage here . he didn't have much pokemon to win with a flawless strategy. Kenta has some chances of losing with bad luck , he took that into account.Kenta's victory isn't sure 100 percent

Kenta remained confident but if you look closely his legs are shaking with anxiety and excitement for the battle

Calm down kenta , its doesn't matter if you win or not . it matters that you give it all . after all your journey is rising to the strongest. I sighed getting focused for the battle

It's my first battle . i feel bad and good about it , I just want to run away from here but I also want to triumph in this battle like a king . well it's doesn't matter after all it's just one battle

if I win well good , I will challenge other strong trainers and gyms.If I lose ,well better luck next time , it's no big deal , I won't change my goals by one loss , winning and losing is a part of life . Power is eternal , so it's the final thing that matters. Afterall Power is the main factor in battles . hmm I will use any opportunity to get stronger

If I am so obsessed with power , why I am wasting time with gyms and get powerful and catch more pokemon ,you can ask that but forget important points. Gym leaders are powerful so they are the best choice to get powerful . also I am on a journey not a rush. I want to enjoy the journey too , don't be a spoilsport , a journey without enjoyment and excitement is inefficient ,it also have a negative effect in mental condition and training

Willpower,mental conditions, morale is also the important factors in a journey which most people ignore . I am human being , I too want some fun and there sometime but I will do limited fun.

"Are you ready ?" Brock asked me

"Yes " I replied with no emotion

"Go geodude " Brock threw a Pokeball and geodude appeared

"Go charmelon " I threw charmelon pokeball , simple as that

"Interesting, it's rare to see new trainers using evolved pokemon . time to get serious then " brock said

"Geodude use mud sport "brock comanded Geodude who quickly filled up surrounding area with mud.

If The fight will be dirty then I will be dirty too

" charmeleon use smokescreen " I commanded charmeleon who used smokescreen obstructing the geodude view

my plan was simple and efficient as I discussed with charmeleon yesterday . charmeleon will use smokescreen blocking geodude view, he will use dragon rage when geodude is far away and use metal claw when geodude is near and use smokescreen to reduce its the view and use scary face to intimidate and dominate it

"charmeleon use dragon rage "I commanded Charmelon who used dragon rage to the geodude who is far away and it hits it perfectly

"geodude use rock throw attack " brock commanded geodude who rolls tried to roll and hit charmeleon while being its vision blurred by smoke

"Charmeleon use metal claw throw the geodude away " I replied to charmeleon who threw geodude far away from charmeleon with its claws

"Geodude use defense curl to strengthen up the defenses "Brock replied

"Charmeleon use dragon rage again to hit it "I commanded charmeleon whose dragon rage hit geodude perfectly

I was befooled by brock , why does he use defense curl for a special attack

"Geodude use rollout attack" Brock commanded geodude to use a rollout attack
