Next Morning
Rimuru's POV-
As Kaido came back with three dwarfs behind him, Rimuru told him everything that had happened.
- If those two would have just waited for me to return, they wouldn't have became criminals. But I am surprised, that they could break the lock of this cell. I have to warn all the soldiers to look out for those two. They may have come from some evil organization.
Kaido told about this to another soldier and told him to report this to the king and also look out for those two.
Kaido came towards Rimuru and said.
- Ah! I almost forgot but thanks for saving them. Thank You!
- I heard you gave us that potion. Thank You!
- Don't mention it.
- My arm was nearly ripped off. Even if I'd survived, I would have lost my job.
Rimuru- You're very welcome.
- *nod**nod*......*nod**nod*
- Speak something!
- Really, thanks so much.
- We owe you!
- *nod**nod*
Kaido comes forward and open the door.
- Am I free?
- Naturally.
Then they took Rimuru to a restaurant.

Gazel Dwargo-
Gazel Dwargo is sitting on his throne inside his throne room.
Suddenly, an elf wearing the outfit of an assassin came behind him through the shadows.
- We have found three bodies of our soldiers inside an alleyway. Two bodies have been crushed to death and another is..
- Tell.
Assassin Elf- One body seems to have tore off bit by bit. Each of the bodies face can't be recognized.
- Any suspects?
- We couldn't find any suspects but today a goblin and a slime has entered our country.
- Where are they currently?
- They are currently inside a restaurant with Kaido, Captain of the guards.
- Observe them but don't engage in a battle with them currently.

- Yes!
The Assassin suddenly disappeared inside the shadows as Gazel was left alone inside the room.

Ryo's POV-
Ryo was walking on the hallway of the inn with rooms on his left and right as he was walking.
- We took care of them without anybody noticing us.
- Yes, Master.
- I just wish that this does not have some butterfly effect.
- What do you mean, Master?
- Nothing.
Ryo opened the door of one of the room to his left revealing Kallus sitting on the bed.
- Have I disturbed you?
- No, No. Please come inside, Master.
Kallus said with a smile on his face.
- Wow! You look so awesome after bathing and wearing these clothes!
- Thanks, Hanma-sama.
Ryo sat on the bed as Ray was still standing.
- Now, first of all.
Ryo took out the magic ore from his bag and told Ray to take out his share too. Ray took out all of the magic ores from his bag.
- I want you all to take these and sell these wherever you want but just get as much money as you can get.
Ryo saw the face of Kallus which was filled with surprise.
- T-These are magic ores!
- Hey, don't shout.
- Sorry! These are magic ores. They sell for a lot in the markets.
- Good! Then, we all will divide these between us and sell these. Just don't sell it somewhere where we would get into trouble. Sell it in some shady shops where they won't reveal our identity.
- Ok!
Ray and Kallus left after dividing the magic ores among themselves to sell them off.
- Now, we won't have a problem with money. I can't wait for the Orc Disaster fun to begin.
Ryo said with a evil smile on his face.

Nero Zero
Monsters plagued the lands for too long. No matter if one had fangs, beak, teeth, skin, fur, or feather, or was tall, stout, or diminutive, the people suffered. Until the Gadgeteers came with a device that could allow people to fight back. Powered by one's own magical power, feeding off of monster Essence, the Arbitrium bracer turned the tables. It also changed society. Strength of one's level cap was all that mattered. The strongest were Kings and Emperors. The weak or those too poor to afford the marvelous device, destitute. And so it has been for millennia. All that mattered was one's level cap. High, low, a fate decided the moment the strange contraption came alive. Too high and you were a threat to those interested in keeping the status quo, a weed to be nipped before it could grow and take root. Too low and you were nobody, fated to be a bit more than a simple farmer. What if someone, somewhere, came up with a zero for their level cap? Unable to use Essence, unable to level up. On all of recorded history, it never happened. Until it did. In a small village of fur-less and tail-less ape-beastkin, a boy found out he was uniquely handicapped. Nero's level cap was Zero. But he'd never let that stop him from reaching his goals. ------------------------------------------------ All stories have already been told. We merely reuse elements from them. From Joseph Campbell's Monomith to Stephen King's advice, and that encyclopedia of tropes you've visited, fiction has been dissected and reassembled countless times. One will surely find elements inspired on other works here. Just like cooking from basic ingredients, the recipe and presentation is what really matter. This is a fantasy adventure, of someone that goes from a zero to a slightly bigger zero. It will have romance but no harem. Cruelty but with hope dimly shining ahead. Lightweight where it can be, heavy where it must. Thanks for reading. Cover Credits (The cover is CC-BY-NC-SA): Steampunk Spider Bracer, by Daniel Proulx. The Sun's Remnant
Two people are transported to a world with magic, but it is no Wonderland. When the god of light died, he decided to take the world with him. At least, that’s what many believe in the Kingdom of Rhine, a once vast kingdom of which only a small corner remains — and even that is threatened. On one side, by the Twisted Forest, a corruption spreading from the deathplace of the gods that has already swallowed up most of Rhine. On the other, by the resurgent Kagrathan Empire, resurrected by the infallible God-Emperor Karlatz. A holy order of knights carry out their mission despite the death of their god. A band of talented misfits prepare for a heist out of their league — by stealing. Mages hunt for secrets even as the world ends. A ruler does what must be done to save the living, no matter the cost. Into this world of magic and murder, two adrift souls are inexplicably dragged: a mother estranged from her young daughter due to her own mistakes, and a young man with a love of fantasy who has gradually drifted away from his friends and family. As they each struggle to find their place in this world, they must also answer the question: do they want one?***Content Warning: I've drafted about 100,000 words (most of the first volume), and there is no sexual content so far, though I may add it in the future. There is occasionally gore and traumatising content as the story demands. I commit to keeping all of the above non-voyeuristic. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

System Only Gives Me Useless Gifts
Li Yun grew up with a system that gave him useless gifts. He wanted a reward that could prove the existence of the system, but ended up with abstract gifts like culture. Without physical proof, he was stuck wondering whether his mind was truly sane, all the while dealing with the reality of life. How will the "useless" system help Li Yun navigate medical school, hospital politics, criminal cases, treasure hunting, farming and cooking? Author's Note: This is a slice-of-life novel about a doctor with a mission-type system. It's written as a faux modern Chinese novel, so there are many 1-off characters and episodic mini arcs. Just a bit of warning, the tone of the story is very different after the childhood arc and jumpy as it chronicles Li Yun's life. I'm trying to make it less apparent in the rewrite, but there are still a lot of time skips. RR is the rewrite version, no set schedule. See webnovel for OG. scribblehub is a combo of both . I recommend scribblehub since it has pictures. Copyrights of the novel and cover are owned by Chocomug. Novel is free to read and download for personal use, such as offline reading, only.
