Amara waited patiently to hear the reason of their suffering. She knew no matter what he says she'll always love him.

"Ric.. You don't need to do this. Tell me when you're ready."

"Love I am as ready as I'll ever be. There has not been a day where I haven't thought about speaking the truth to you. But now I can't decide from where to start."

" How about you start with why you left me?"

" I didn't leave you Amara. I could never leave you. I was forced to do this. My family is not a simple family. The image we have in the world is a disguise. We are a family of vicious vultures who try to tear other people down."

"Richard.. what are you saying?"

"My father ..he was a mafia king. My brother would have been the next to the line. But he fell in love with a girl he wasn't supposed to. So I had to take the title and burden myself with the power that comes with it."

"A mafia family? Like the one in Godfather? You never told me that."

"Because I wasn't supposed to be here. I was happily living my life with you away from all these bloodthirsty people."

"It still doesn't answers why you have to leave me?"

"Because Arthur was betrothed to Leah. Her father is another mafia bastard. He is fucking crazy.. And if I haven't stepped up as the new heir and promised to marry her. It would've resulted in war. Bloody dangerous war. Hundreds of people could've died. But you know the funny part I didn't care who died or lived. Because for once in my life I wanted to be selfish. I wanted a future with you. But the moment my father took your name he knew he had me where he wanted me to be. His man had kept you on gunpoint. It was where I decided I'll be whatever he want me to be if it meant you were safe. I've never told them about you so I was shocked how they got to you."

"You are now the leader?"

"Leader , king, boss whatever it is"

"Have I ever killed ? Yes. Do they deserved it? Not everyone. Do I like it? No. So you see I am not the old Richard with whom you fell in love. I am devilish , tainted and bad. You'll be better without me. I am involved in drugs, weapon and what not."

"I know you have killed people... but I also know you could never kill your love for me. I know you are a changed person but did your love changed for me ? No. I get that you are bad but I also know you'll never let anything bad happen to me. I loved you then, I love you now. It doesn't matter you are a mafia king or a photographer I'll still be by your side forever."

"You don't know what you are getting yourself in."

" If it involves you , I'll get in it anywhere anytime."

" I don't want you to regret it later Amara. If you see me doing those things you'll not be able to recognize me."

"I don't know why do you think that.. I'll make it clear for you. I am ready to go to even hell if it means I'll be with you. Ric, What I feel for you is insane. Do you think you can force me to hate you when even after thinking you dumped me I still loved you all these years. And mind you I am strong and independent woman. I can take my decision for myself."

"No woman is ever weak. They are the strongest people out there. And you are the most strongest woman I know. I love you Amara Wesley . I promise I'll make it alright."

"I love you too. Now fucking kiss me."

IN THE OTHER SIDE OF MANSION

Its funny when the people who you trust the most are the ones who easily break it. Just as Ric said no woman is weak. Leah was doing all she could in her strength to take the powers in her reigns. She wants to become the queen and no one's going to stop her from being one, not even Black brothers. She was ready to go to any extent even if it means using Noah.

Leah smiled maliciously as she poured the drink for Noah.

"You know Noah if there is anyone in this house who cares for me its you. For everyone else I'm just a baggage. Why can't Ric see me for who I am? First his brother Arthur and now him. Am I not human Noah? Don't they ever fell bad for me?"

"Leah.. I agree what Arthur did to you was bad.. he should've told you about his girlfriend but Ric hasn't done anything. He had to drop everything he knew for this life. Give him some time."

"Is four years not enough? Noah am I ugly?" Saying so she started crying to have him in her clutches.

Though Noah felt bad for Leah ,he knew where his loyalties were. He tried to reassure her.

"Oh come on Leah you are beautiful inside out. Just give him some time."

"You are only saying this to make me feel good. I know I'm ugly that's why Ric never tried to even kiss me?"

"Trust me you are beautiful and sexy as hell. Any man will love to kiss you."

"Any man but not Richard. You say any man will love to kiss me..why don't you kiss me and show me how much?"

"You have drank too much. Have some rest Leah. I'll see you tomorrow."

With that being said Noah left the room quietly. Unable to control her anger Leah threw the drink on floor. She wasn't drunk. She just acted like a drunk. It is going to be harder than she thought. She needs Noah on her side no matter how. Noah's the support of Ric which means he knows everything about him. The moment she has him, she'll easily be able to have a leverage on Ric. She laughed at the thought.

Hey Lovelies. I know I have been away for quite a time. Well it wasn't intentional. I was dealing with a medical issue. It took me some months to get back to my health. But now I'm healthy as a horse. And will continue to write stories for you guys. And I had some great ideas for new stories when I was in the hospital. Hopefully I'll be able to write them.
