The next morning the gang had all arrived at the airport very early. They ended up having a delayed flight however, for yet another storm that blew over. Y/n found an opportunity to make the most of the delay by cracking jokes and irritating Pierre.

They had boarded the plane and Y/n was feeling sad realizing that this would be the first time away from Pierre since meeting him.

Charles: You good sis?

Y/n: Yeah I guess...

Charles: You'll see him soon don't worry. Arthur's looking forward to seeing you again.

Y/n wasn't really listening to his words but still made an effort to try.

Y/n: Yeah...

Charles: Hey look at me.

Y/n: hmm?

Charles lifted her chin in his direction to make eye contact with Y/n.

Charles: What's really wrong?

Y/n: I- it's Damon. Charles he lives with Luca in Monaco. He's still out there and he knows I'm coming home. And Pierre... he usually-

Charles: Pierre usually makes you feel safe.

Y/n: Exactly that.

Charles: Well I'm here and God help him if he goes near you because I have about 4 drivers who will come to your rescue with me in Monaco.

Y/n: Thanks Charles.

Y/n rested her head on his shoulder and drifted off to sleep however she woke up and started feeling panicked. She couldn't shake this feeling off even once they had landed.

As Charles, Charlotte and Y/n walked to collect their bags Y/n got overwhelmed with nerves. Soon she'd be back in Monaco and in plain sight and for the first time she dreaded it. The panic settled in fully and she struggled to breathe. This threw her off her path entirely and she ran for a wall to lean on. Charles and Charlotte walked on until Charles noticed Y/n was no longer at his right side.

Charles: Y/n? Char wait! Where's Y/n?

Charlotte: I didn't see her run off.

Charles scanned the crowds and the airport before noticing a girl sitting with her head in her arms on the floor. He immediately ran over.

Charles: Y/n? What's happening? Talk to me.

Y/n: I can't come back. I can't do it!

Charles: Yes you can. I promise you can.

Y/n: No. There's nowhere safe. Not now that he's out of prison.

Charles: Listen to me Y/n. You are so strong. I mean you went through everything alone and still managed to convince us you were fine. Pierre would want you to face it. Jules would.

Y/n: Maybe... maybe I should go to my dad... just for a bit. He's close to Nice I think.

Charles: No ways! You are NEVER going near him again. Wait right here.

Charles ran off and asked Charlotte to wait by Y/n while he made a call. He returned shortly and sat down next to Y/n.

Charles: How you doing?

Y/n: The same. I can't breathe right now. I can't see or think straight.

Charlotte: Just take slow breaths and-

?: -and think positive thoughts.

Y/n: Wait... I know that voice... LORENZO!

Y/n jumped up and threw her arms around him.

Lorenzo: Charles called.

Arthur: Said he needed a hand.

Max: More than just a hand.

Y/n: Arthur, Max? What? Why? How?

Arthur pulled y/n in for a hug and explained.

Arthur: Charles called asking for us to come and fetch you together. He said you wanted to go to your dad but I think you're better off with us.

Max: We will always have your back Y/n. Always.

Y/n: Thank you guys. I love you all so much.

Lorenzo: We love you too.

Charles: So can we go home? Nobody will come near you with all of us around.

Y/n: Let's go...
