Doctor: Well there's good news and bad news Mr Leclerc...
Charles: Oh, um, bad news first I guess?
Doctor: You have a very mild concussion and a couple bruised ribs. You will have to be extremely careful and not sustain another injury in the next week.
Y/n: And the good news Doc?
Doctor: He's clear to go home and if he rests well this week he can race in the next Grand Prix.
Pierre noticed his best friend had dropped his smile and spoke up.
Pierre: At least you can race next weekend. And you were right to some extent about Y/n and I-
Y/n: -Which is a first.
Charles: haha yeah, and I get to go home.
Doctor: When you're ready you may leave.
Charles: Thank you
Charlotte: Thanks doc.
Once the doctor had left there was a mere moment of silence until Y/n spoke up.
Y/n: Well what are we waiting for? Let's go home!
Charles: Yes! Please!
The all got into the car and headed to the hotel for the night as they had an early flight back to Monaco first thing.
Y/n stayed with Pierre that night as Charlotte wanted to monitor Charles.
Pierre had ordered room service which arrived pretty quickly. Once they ate, they went to sit on the bed and it was at this point Pierre noticed something was off with Y/n.
Pierre: Everything alright?
Y/n: It's just been a stressful day and I can't shake that nauseating feeling that Damon is still out there somewhere.
Pierre: I know, but it'll be okay. Charles knows now and you're safe in Monaco with them.
Y/n: Pierre he lives in Monaco. He'll be with Luca again... what if-
Pierre: Nothing will happen Y/n. Charles won't let it. I wish I could be there too but-
Y/n: -Do you have to go to Milan tomorrow?

Pierre: Unfortunately...
Y/n: So you're really not coming to Monaco?
Pierre: I can't, I'm sorry, I need to get home eventually but we'll see each other at the next race.
Y/n: Whyyyyyyy?!
Pierre: Haha, Summers you will be okay for one week.
Y/n: But it's not just a week. It's from Monday to next Wednesday. NEXT! WEDNESDAY! Gasly!
Pierre: Haha, aww, Come here.
Pierre wrapped his arm around her shoulder as they lay on the bed and Y/n rested her head on his shoulder.
Pierre: You know... You could always come to Milan with me...
Y/n: I would love nothing more but I have to still speak to Charles...
Pierre: Oh, yeah. Next time then.
Y/n: Next time? There'll be a next time?
Pierre: Obviously, I already know where our first date in Milan will be.
Y/n cuddled up closer to him.
Like this:
Y/n: You're the best.
Pierre: You make me the best.
Pierre kissed her on her forehead and turned on a movie.
Y/n: Cars?
Pierre: Haha, yeah...
Y/n: I guess it never dies.
Pierre smiled at this. She had remembered his exact words from weeks ago...
Pierre: Yeah, you're right
Y/n: Mmhmm || she winked at him

They watched the movie and Y/n had seemingly fallen asleep in Pierre's arms.
He looked down at her and noticed her beauty again, like he had that summer's night on the balcony. He couldn't help but smile at the young Monegasque in his arms. He really believed she was special and he hadn't seen anyone so perfect before... as he sat in his thoughts he whispered to Y/n:
"I think I love you Y/n..."
She snuggled up to him and smiled slightly so he wouldn't see.
And without alerting Gasly that she was awake she thought to herself:
"I think I love you too Pierre..."
