Y/n opened the door slightly and peered in.
Y/n: H-hey...
Charlotte: Y/n, Pierre come in.
As they stepped in Charles made eye contact with Y/n before looking at Pierre who's hand was on her lower back.
Charles: Give us a minute would you?
Charlotte: Sure thing. Come on Pierre I think we need coffees all around.
Pierre: Agreed.
Once they had left and the door clicked closed there was silence as the two remaining in the room looked at each other.
Y/n: I'm-
Charles: Wha- sorry you first...
Y/n: Charles, I'm so so sorry. I never meant for any of this to happen and I surely never meant to hurt you. I just couldn't bring myself to telling you everything. I guess I was scared too.
Charles: No Y/n, I should apologize. I shouldn't have shut you out like that.
Y/n: I deserved it...
Charles: You didn't.
Y/n: Look at you! In an accident because my stupid fear caused you to be distracted.
Charles: The accident is not your fault. And I'm really okay. I'm in here for a couple tests then I can go. And I won't force you to tell me everything anymore... You're your own person and I'll learn to respect that.
Y/n: Charles... thank you but it's time I came clean. All weekend I've wanted to tell you the truth. So here goes...
Y/n told him every single thing from the Spa weekend to seeing Damon in the paddock. She left nothing out and as her story went on Charles was appearing more and more upset. Once she finished she wiped the few tears off that escaped off of her face and took a breath before looking out the window.
Charles: Y/n... I'm such an idiot. All this time you've been hurting, all this time you just needed normality and I've been an asshole.

Y/n: No it's okay. I shouldn't have lied to you.
Charles: It's okay, you were scared. But I should've seen something was off.
Y/n: No, you wouldn't have known. I'm sorry... really I am. And Charles I-
She turned to the window and noticed Pierre out in the hall.
She smiled in his direction.
Charles: ... So you and Pierre?
Y/n: Charles-
Before she could finish her sentence to Charles he knocked asking to come in. They didn't deny and agreed to finish this conversation at home.
Pierre: Fresh coffee delivery.
Y/n: My heroes!
Charlotte: When's the doctor coming back around love?
Charles: Should be any minute...
Pierre turned to Y/n and spoke under his breath to her:
"And? Did you talk?"
Y/n: Almost fully. We'll finish at home. But we're on the same page again.
Charles: Okay lovebirds, it's rude to gossip.
Y/n: Lovebirds?! You must've hit your head.
Pierre let out a small laugh but soon after he left the room and Y/n later excused herself to follow him.
He was standing in front of the window's view out in the hall.
Y/n: What's wrong?
Pierre: Nothing.
Y/n: Pierre. What's wrong? Talk to me.
Pierre: I know you want to sort everything out first but I just want to be able to at least discuss us at some point...
Y/n: We will.
Pierre: I really like you Y/n. I want to try this. I want to be with you.
Y/n: And I want to be with you too, but Pierre, please understand it's a lot right now...
Pierre: I know, I know... It's just with waiting, what if your mind changes or yo-
Y/n walked up to him and kissed him shutting him up. He kissed back and instantly pulled his hand up to her cheek.
Y/n: Pierre Gasly; you worry too much. Let's get back I side.

The two walked inside to a smirking Charles and Charlotte.
Y/n: Spit it out.
Charles: When did this happen? He indicated with his hand towards Pierre and Y/n
Y/n: What?
Charles: Sis, I love you, but you're not always the brightest. You guys stood in front of the window!
Y/n: Oh!
Pierre: Then I guess you want an explanation.
Charles: No need. We all saw it coming. Is it official?
Y/n: I need to figure other things out first...
At this Charles looked at Pierre who smiled as a sign of reassurance that he too was okay with the wait.
Charlotte: Well I think you guys will be perfect!
Doctor: Not interrupting am I?
Charles: Not at all.
