The next morning Y/n woke up to the smell of bacon. This was enough to get her out of bed and down to the kitchen.
Y/n: What's cooking good looking?
Pierre: Y/n? Haha! Eggs and bacon.
Y/n: What's the occasion?
Pierre: Last breakfast I can cook for you for a while.
Y/n: What?! No ways it's already time for you to leave?!
Pierre: It is indeed... but about that-
Y/n: -can I come to Silverstone with you guys?
Pierre: I was just gonna ask. Please come!
Y/n: Yay! British Grand Prix here I come!
Charles: You're sounding better today.
Y/n: Oh, yeah um I decided to come to Silverstone with you guys.
Charles: That's awesome! So you know we're leaving tomorrow?
Y/n: Crap! I gotta pack! Eggs were great Gasly!
Y/n ran off to her room to go and pack. Pierre cleaned up and went to gather his things after having been here for almost an entire month.
Given it was his last night with the Leclercs and the last night of summer break they decided to have a little movie night. Charles invited Charlotte and Valentine and Arthur, Pierre and Y/n had prepared snacks while Charles set up the movies.
Charlotte: Hey baby, hey guys!
Y/n: Hey Char, hey Val. Happy you came.

They all got settled and started with the first movie. Y/n ended up sitting right by Pierre, stretching her legs across his lap. It wasn't until the second movie ended that they decided to have dinner.
Charlotte: Oh Charles, I have a great idea! Wouldn't you please play a song on the piano?
Charles: Oh, um, say; Y/n is just as good. Why don't you play something y/n?
Pierre: Wait, you play?
Y/n: I haven't in years. My mom taught me but I'm probably very rusty.

Pierre: A whole summer and I'm only hearing this now?! You have to play!
Arthur: I agree. Show us what you got.
Charles: You used to play all the time. Muscle memory is a thing you know.
Y/n: Oh alright... here goes.
Y/n walked over to the piano, sat in front of it and rested her hands on the keys. After a few moments and a deep breath she started playing beautifully.
Pierre: Wow, Y/n, you sound beautiful.
Valentine: Still got it Y/n.
Once the song had finished everyone applauded her.
Y/n: Thank you, thank you. Pierre come here, I wanna show you.
Pierre: Oh no, I don't have any musical talent.
Y/n: I doubt it, come on.
Pierre sat down and Y/n placed his hands on the keys. She guided them to all the right keys and eventually got a melody going. *
* Charles: They're sweet aren't they? I'm really happy for Y/n.
Charlotte: They really are and me too.
Later that night everyone had gone to their rooms and Charlotte and Valentine stayed over. Y/n was finishing up organizing her bags for the weekend when she heard Pierre's voice:
Pierre: Hey
Y/n: Hey
Pierre: So, you ready for this weekend?
Y/n: Shouldn't I be asking you?
Pierre: Ha, yeah... anyway I sent you some photos from today.
Y/n: Oh? Let me check:
Y/n: These are so cute. Thank you.
Pierre: You're welcome
Y/n: Is that it?
Pierre: Oh, uh yeah.
He started for the door before Y/n stopped him.
Y/n: Pierre?
Pierre: Yeah?
Y/n: Thank you. For this summer. For the first time since the accident I felt like myself again.
Pierre: You're welcome.
Y/n wrapped her arms around him and Pierre held her tight. The two stood like that for a moment and eventually Y/n pulled back and smiled up at his blue eyes.
Y/n: Good night, see you tomorrow
Pierre: Yeah, goodnight Y/n sleep well.
When he was outside her closed door he leaned back on it slightly. He closed his eyes and started to think of this summer. He didn't understand why... or maybe he did... but Y/n came up in every single thought, even if she wasn't a part of the memory.
