The next few days had gone much better, y/n was happy to have told somebody about Luca and Damon and she slowly started feeling more at ease.

Today everyone had decided to spend the day at the beach. It was Y/n's first time at the beach in ages and she loved having the sun on her back while she lay and read.

Pierre was with Charles and Charlotte in the water, Arthur was with one of his friends and Valentine was reading next to Y/n on the sand. You two never really cared much for swimming in the sea.

Valentine: So y/n... Pierre?

Y/n: A friend, Val. Don't start making up stories in your head.

Valentine: I'm just saying, you guys seem pretty perfect. And he's made you very happy.

Y/n: He has, because it feels like I finally have filled a missing piece since Jules. Pierre is there for me like he was. So he's just. A. Friend.

Valentine: If you say so... but you cannot lie he's damn hot.

Y/n just laughed and went back to her book when she felt her sun disappear and something cold drip on her back.

Y/n: Hey! You know how warm I was in the sun!

Pierre: Sorry, but you're at the beach. The least you could do is try get wet.

Y/n turned around and saw Pierre standing above her, still wet from the swim.

'Valentine was right... she'd give her that. Pierre was damn hot.' She thought.

Y/n: Um yeah, I don't swim in the sea.

Pierre: Yeah you do.

Y/n: I really don- PIERRE!

In one swift move Pierre had picked her up and carried her with him to the water. Valentine snapped a picture before bursting out into laughter. "ENJOY!"

Y/n: Pierre! Put me down!

Pierre: If you insist.

He dropped her into the cool ocean water and couldn't help but laugh.

Pierre: Haha! I told you you'd swim.

Y/n: Oh you suck!

She playfully splashed him before a wave knocked her down.

Charles: Haha! Never turn your back to the waves y/n. It's the one rule of the sea.

Y/n: Yeah yeah. You all suck, I was loving the sun.

Pierre: At least you got in, and you know it would be better if you tried to enjoy it.

Charlotte: Come on Y/n. You used to love the beach... especially the chicken fights Charles and I would always win...

Pierre: Oh no that's unacceptable. Come on Y/n, we gotta beat them!

Y/n: Oh alright!

The day went by so quickly, y/n hadn't had that much fun in a long time. It was seemingly the perfect summer day.

They got back that evening and Charles had invited a couple of the drivers over for dinner. Y/n went to clean up before everyone came when she heard a notification.

Y/n laughed and put her phone down when she heard the front door.
