A couple days later Y/n found herself spending more and more time with Pierre as the summer break got underway. She had almost forgotten about Luca entirely... that was until she went down to the docks for a run.
Luca: Y/n? Hey wait up! Where've you been?
Y/n: Busy.
Luca: Last we saw each other you weren't all yourself.
Y/n: Excuse me?
Luca: You we're saying all those crazy things about leaving me for good. Remember?
Y/n: I meant every word. I gotta go.
Luca grabbed her arm tightly.
Y/n: Ouch! Luca let go. You're hurting me.
Luca: You'll be back. You know what I can do if you don't come back. I can really make your life hell.
Y/n ripped her arm from his grip before looking him dead in his eyes.
Y/n: You have no more control over me. I'm not scared.
Luca: Oh yeah? What about that then.
He signaled to her arm which was slightly bruised where he grabbed her. Y/n knew this wouldn't be easy to cover.
Y/n: Screw you Luca. You are not who I thought you were when we met.
Y/n just turned around and walked back home. Pierre was on the couch when she walked in and he noticed she looked frustrated.
Pierre: Isn't a run supposed to make you feel less frustrated?
Y/n: It is until your stupid ex shows up.
Pierre: Ex?
Y/n: His name is Luca. He can be a real asshole sometimes.
Pierre: Well, I'm watching a movie, wanna join? It'll help you clear your mind.
Y/n: Sure thing.

Charles was in the simulator when he heard Y/n come back. It was difficult to hear but she started talking to Pierre and he had heard Luca's name come up.
'She better not have gotten involved with him again.' He thought.

Deciding to leave it for now and ask her when she wasn't with Pierre he got up and went to the living room. He got there and saw Y/n and Pierre sitting on the couch. Y/n had her head on his shoulder. He couldn't understand why they say they aren't interested in each other, clearly there's chemistry.

Charles: Hey, not interrupting am I?
Y/n: No, we're just watching a movie.
Charles: Okay. Um Y/n, can I quickly talk to you?
Y/n: Sure thing
She got up and followed Charles into the kitchen.
Y/n: What's up?
Charles: How was the run?
Y/n: Um, it was good. So you wanted to talk, I doubt it's about my run?
Charles: Actually, it kind of is. I heard you mention something about Luca to Pierre.
Y/n: Oh, I just ran into him down by the docks, and he... he was typical Luca. Begging for attention again. Haha nothing I couldn't handle.
Charles: Are you su- what's that?
Y/n noticed the sleeves of the hoodie she had on were pushed up, exposing a bit of the bruise. She quickly pushed them down: "Oh it's nothing, I just bumped my arm on the cupboard this morning."
Charles: Bumped it? Okay. Sorry for keeping you, that's all I wanted to check, making sure Luca isn't causing issues.
Y/n: Thanks, but he isn't. Oh, and Charles?
Charles: Yeah?
Y/n: You don't have to worry about me. I can take care of myself when I need to...
Charles: I know you can.
She went back to Pierre and Charles went up to Arthur's room.
Charles: Hey mate, got a second?
Arthur: Yeah
Charles: It's Y/n. I'm worried about her.
Arthur: Why?
Charles: Since the weekend we left her here, she's been different.
Arthur: I mean she seems much happier... but that's since Pierre got here. I suppose she seemed off when we first got back. Maybe something happened; apart from the break in of course.
Charles: That's just the thing, I have a weird feeling she hasn't told us everything from that weekend. But every time I asked she shot me down.
Arthur: It's not like her to lie to us. I suppose I'll try talk to her.
Charles: Exactly why I'm worried, I hope this hasn't got to do with Luca. And thanks, maybe now she'll open up seeing as Pierre has helped her find her spark again.
