《His Unknown Child》Chapter 30: Shhhhh

"How does my hair look." I whipped it back and forth, showing off my glorious new red hair.

"It looks just like The Little Mermaid's hair." He winked.

"It better. I did all by myself. Only help was YouTube, but that barely helped."

"Well, it works. Now, contacts." I groaned.

"How come I have to change every detail about me?"

"Cause, Charlie knows what you look like, Ashton obviously know what you look like, and that Twan boy for sure know that you look like. You have to be a different person." Blah blah blah.

"Okay fine. Blue contacts. Hand me that ombre shirt and that black coat." He handed me the things I commanded and I slipped them on.

"What pants you gonna wear?" He wondered and smoothly walked over to me.

"Those ones." I grabbed the black pants and slipped them on also.

"I don't even recognize you. What's your name gonna be?"

"Hm, Rachael?"

He shook his head. "No, too common."

"Aridelsol."

"Did you just make that up?"

"Yep. What you think. Do I look like an Aridelsol?"

(A/N pronounced: Air-a-dell-soul)

"Indeed. It's settled then. You drive my car near Charlie's place right now, but not too close. Don't be spotted. Wait until he walked out. Follow him, BUT if he turns, you keep going straight or whatever. Don't loose him." I nodded.

"This should be easy."

~~~
"I have his address. Just not apartment number." I said over the phone.
"That's okay. Good work. I'll talk to you later." I hung up and watched him.
After he disappeared into the building, I drove off to the one place I should of been to yesterday.
~~~

I parked off to the side so I'm not noticed.

Should I just go? No. Wait. His car isn't even here. Which means he's gone. And I have a key. Perfect.

I got out of the car and quickly walked to the building and ran up the stairs. Found the apartment number or condo. Whatever, and unlocked it.

The place was clean. Clean as the color white.

I ran into Ashton's room and looked around. His room was probably the cleanest I've ever seen.

Suddenly, I heard the door open and close. Shit.

I tried to find somewhere to hide, but I just quickly shoved myself in the closet. Hopefully he won't notice. He's gonna notice. It's a damn walk in closet. He walks in it every day.

I heard the bedroom door open, then close. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.

I saw from the crack of the door that Ashton was just about to leave, until my phone starting to ring.

I'm so dead.

Just then the closest door swung opened and I curdled in a ball, hiding my face.

"Who are you? How did you get in- Lilly?" Ashton gasped.

I lifted up my head slowly and looked him in the eyes.

"What the hell Lilly?" He shouted.

"Ashton, I can explain-"

"NO, no you can't. The hell happened to your hair? What happened to you? You weren't at Christmas, you weren't even answering my calls." I flinched.

"Ashton-"

"Get out."

"Ash plea-"

"GET OUT!" He screamed. I threw my key at him, and bolted to the door, outside, and to the car. Drive far away from the place and parked near Twan's place.

~~~
Fuck him. I didn't even love him anyway. I love someone else. My boss, and he loves me too.
I got out the car and faked looked lost.
I pushed every ringer button and only one voice answered. It was him.
"Who is this?"
"Oh thank god. I'm sorry to bother you, but I'm lost and don't know where I am. Can you help?" I faked.
"Come right up. Floor three, number five." I already figured out it was number five, but oh well.
I knocked on door five and he opened and let me in.
"I'm so sorry to intrude-" He cut me off.
"Don't worry. You were lost and looking for help." He smiled and sat on the other side of the room.
"Thank you. I really appreciate it."
"No problem. Now, what do you want to know? What town your in? Zip code? Apartments?" He asked.
"Oh right. Well I'm not from around here." I forgot to use my American Russian accent. So I'm sticking to a southern. "I'm from Tennessee."
"Tennessee? That's far from this small town in Ohio. How did you get all the way up here?"
"Well, I was traveling with some friends and some of us got drunk, besides the driver. But then I passed out. Then waking up in a hotel room, alone. That's all I remember."
"Seem horrible. Do you have any phone, money?"
"No, when I woke up, there was nothing. It was just me, laying on that bed. Everything was like untouched. Like I was purposely put there."
"Maybe your friends played a prank on you." I shrugged.
"Well I left the hotel, and didn't see their car. Or at least didn't see any car that said Tennessee on the license plate."
"Well, you're welcomed to stay here. I can just stay at my girlfriends place for a few days or weeks. Doesn't matter." I didn't know I was this good.
"Are you sure? You don't mind?"
"I don't mind. Most of my stuff is at her place anyway. All I got here is a bed, couch, recliner, a fridge with food, a desk, and a real old box tv. That actually works.I don't really live here anymore."
"Oh, this would be more than amazing. Thank you so much. I appreciate it." I jumped up and hugged him, then leaned in to kiss him but he backed away.
"Girlfriend remember."
"My bad. Sorry."
"I better be off. Make yourself at home. Here's a key." Then he left. He must be very stupid. Who's lets a stranger stay at their place? Expectably the opposite sex.
