"Where's sandy claws?" Aidan looked around the house.
I chuckled before kneeling to his height. "He comes over night. When you're asleep. But if you're awake, he doesn't come at all." I explained. I honestly don't understand the whole "Santa Claus" thing. I never believed in it. Besides, I knew that my parents were "Santa Claus".
"But I want sandy now. Chrismas is too far way daddy." He pouted.
"He'll come. Just wait till morning buddy." I honestly feel bad for the him. Why should he be lied to about something that isn't real? Family shouldn't lie.
That's one reason why I never believe in that fake bastard. Excuse my language.
"Hey Aidan. Mommy's calling." I grabbed my phone and answered it. "Hey." I said.
"Can I speak to Aidan?" Damn, she doesn't seem to be in the mood at this point.
"Hi mommy." Aidan smiled through the phone.
While they were having their conversation I decided to go wake up Lilly.
I opened the bedroom door quietly. Sneaked around the bed to my side and climbs in.
She grunted. "Go back to sleep." She mumbled and turned to face me. Eyes still closed.
"I can't." I simply responded and climbed over on top of her. Now, I was hovering over her.
"And why not?" She shifted so I was barley sitting on her middle section of her body.
Her eyes fluttered open. "Because Aidan is on the phone with his mum and I wanted to wake you up. Since it's almost Christmas and all, I figured we could go to Christie Mountain and snowboard. Or ski." I wasn't to fawn of skiing. I knew how to, I just never liked doing it.
"Sounds like fun." She chirped.
"It will be, now you get ready." I leaned down and kissed her.
"I will, but I have to ask you something." She looked nervous.
"What is it?"
"I want you to be completely honest. And it's not gonna ruin our relationship." I nodded. "Do you ever think you and Charlie could get back together?"
I shrugged. "Honestly? I don't want to. I could never imagine myself in a relationship with her again. I mean, yes, we have a son together and they say that it's healthier for the child to have both parents together. But I just couldn't. Charlie maybe. She might want that "bond" back. Just for our son. But I couldn't imagine it." I explained truthfully.

"I just needed to get that off my chest. I'm not jealous or anything. It just randomly popped up in my head."
"Well I'm glad you asked." I smiled and kissed her forehead. "I'll be downstairs." She nodded and walked to the bathroom as I walked downstairs.
"Bye mummy." Aidan said and hung up the phone. He so so smart for a four year old.
"What did mummy have to say?" I asked as I plopped down next to him on the couch.
"Mummy wants to go lot mountain today with me." That was my idea.
"She did? Well guess what? Daddy was just about to ask you if you wanted to go to the mountain today. Just you, me, and Lilly." Well, our plans have been ruined.
"Mummy invites you and Lilly." I raised an eyebrow.
"Oh really?" That is new.
"Yep." He smiled and climbed onto my lap.
"I'll have to talk to you mom." Just as I said that, my phone dinged.
Charlie [Meet us at Christie at eleven. I wanted to take Aidan up, but as it's your day with him, you could come with. Bring Lilly too. Sorry for late noticed. See you there!]
I just sat there blankly. When has Charlie been this nice?
Never. (I know)
Ashton [Sure, we'll meet you up there.]
That's legitly all I could say. And she just acted like she was in control too.
Like, meet us at Christie at eleven. And See you there.
I'm no remote controller but-
"Daddy." I shook my head to clear my thoughts away.
"What?"
"Can we go?" My son pleaded.
"Yeah buddy. We can. Let's go it ready." I picked him up and airplane all the way to his room upstairs.
"First, no jeans bud. You'll get uncomfortable." He took off his pants and stood in his mini boxers. I chuckled. "Here, wear these." I tossed him a pair of sweat pants.
"Think socks."
"That's correct. You wait thick sock as well." I went through his sock drawer and found the thickest socks ever. I grabbed two sets.
I helped put the socks on and once they were on tight and snuggle, I walked in his closet and looked for a tshirt.
"Here." I threw him an old shirt to wear. I also looked for a thin but yet thick sweat shirt.
Perfect. It was a hoodie to just pull over.
Once he had that on, we search for his snowboarding jacket and snow pants I bought him.

"I found my pants daddy." I squealed and started putting them on. His pants were red and his jacket was blue with black.
"Excellent buddy. But don't put on your jacket just yet."
"I don't wanna get hot before we get there." He stated.
"Exactly. Now sit on the bed as I put on your boots for you." He sat on his bed and I tucked his feet in the snowboarding boots. Crossed them tight but not to tight and tied them.
"I'm going snowboarding for my first year." He giggled.
"Yep, your first year. Wanna see your board?" He doesn't know what his board looks yet. I went and bought it a few weeks ago when he was at his mums.
"YES!" I chuckled. He zoomed downstairs.
"I'll be down in a minute buddy." I shouted.
"OKAY." He shouted back. I grabbed his gloves and hat then walked to my room.
"I got almost all your stuff out. You're the pro so I didn't know everything you bring." I chuckled at her.
"Thanks. You got most of it out." I started putting on my joggers and thick socks over the fabric.
"You're welcome." She said as she pulled on her pink snow pants.
"Nice pants." I laughed.
"Thanks. They're designer." She posed.
"Oh they're very cute." I sarcasmed back at her.
~~~
"You ready Twan?" I asked as I slipped on my ugg boots.
"Yep, let's go." And with that we headed off.
~~~
We got to Christie forty-five minutes later and sat in the car and waited or Ashton.
I never called Hayden back. I really should. It's my fault anyway. But I'm afraid to talk to him. What's the point to when he's in Fran- fuck. My. Life. I just remembered he's here. In America. In my state. Maybe he left by now. Maybe he went back home.
Boy I hope so.
"Hey Charlie." I was shooken out of thought.
"Yeah?" I pretended to be listening.
"They're here." I nodded and got out of the car along with Twan.
"Mummy." Aidan smiled and walked by my side.
"Hey buddy. Are you ready?" He nodded rapidly.
"I go snowboarding." He jumped.
"Uh." He is not in any way going snowboarding. I was gonna go tubing.
"Daddy has my board." He ran over to his dad and dragged his little board. "See mummy! So cool!" He cheered.
"Ashton, may I have a word with you?" He nodded and we walked up the hill.
"So, is there a problem?" Like you don't know.
"Uh yeah. Of course there is a problem. Aidan is NOT going snowboarding. That's the most dangerous sport I can think of."
Oh my god. She's so dramatic.
"You do realise I'm a snowboard instructor. I can't teach him myself." I stated.
"No, I don't want him to fall all the time and get hurt." I rolled my eyes.
"God Charlie. That comes with snowboarding. If you don't fall or fail, then you're not succeeding or even trying." Which was true. I learned that the hard way when I started riding at two. I barley could walk normal, but my uncle wanted me to be the best. Which I am. Wink.
"No, I was planning on going on this trip before you were. I'm the one who call you." She smirked, "knowing" that she won.
"Actually I planned this trip a week ago. I planned on taking just me, Aidan, and Lilly today, until you call Aidan and you told him you wanted to go to Christie." Oh kill em.
"We're going tubing."
"No, do you realise I bought Aidan a brand new Burton board, Burton helmet, Burton goggles, and Burton boots. I bought him everything for snowboarding. I wanted to pass on the fatherly tradition."
"Ashton, your uncle taught you." So.
"Yeah? Your point? My uncle was more of a father to me than my real father. I started snowboarding at two Charlie. Not four. Four is like the perfect age for a young one to start." As you can tell, a lot of people inspired me.
"I don't are Ashton. I don't care at all. Aidan is too little. Maybe when he's like sixteen." Really?
"Sixteen? Dude, do you realise that's so far away? I'm have to get a whole new board and helmet and everything."
"Don't Ashton. Don't even argue with-" suddenly her eyes widened and I turned my head to see what she's staring at.
Oh my god.
Why is he here? That the hell is he here? I thought he left. I thought I was a "selfish American".
I can't think. I can't even talk.
Ashton's just staring at me blankety until he turned his head. He doesn't know him, but he's about to find out.
Dammit- cow nipples- egg.
