Prime Minister Zhan was made aware of the heated commotion that took place inside his mansion today and could not help but be extremely uncomfortable in his heart. His daughter Cecelia may have been insolent and a fool but neither Madam Murem nor Cecelia had ever dared to go against the imperial orders.

What started as a scheme among officials was elevated to the status of rebellion against the emperor, a joyous event was upturned into a crime of extermination of nine generations of a family. Your daughter Cecelia has reached beyond the age of marriage yet she is unmarried even after having so many suitors...is it because she likes someone or rather because you wish for your daughter to have the highest position.
