Commander General Azarios was said to be one of the most brutal warlords ever gracing the magnificent empire of Ambrose. The exquisite dragon had stepped in the aristocratic circles at a very young age and defied all the rules to achieve what he wished for.

At the age of eight he was brought from the boundary lands of Ambrose-Gaerin border as an offering with thousand others like him by late Commander Bezus, the father of Empress Seycea who had his dark claws clutching the threads of Throne of Ambrose and wished to control the newly established crown prince, Prince Alexander as a puppet.

It might have been possible that General Bezus had forgotten about the boy but Azarios remembered every face he ever witnessed. The then boy fought as a gladiator for three years inside the blood-splashed walls of the pits before being adopted as a slave by Lord Laos, the priest of the blue water sect.

There are mere common men and gods, monsters and hellish demons yet some people on the land of mortals are even crueler than any monster that could ever exist and Lord Laos was a vicious being that walked on the land of the mighty empire. Countless young boys were tortured to death by him for sexual pleasure. Even the monarch was unsatisfied with the troubles the Lord Laos ways brought yet he was bound by the religious belief thus staying apart from the Blue Sect.

Twelve days later after Azarios was taken, a body with foul, gut-wrenching odor was found in the courtyard of the Blue Sect lord belonging to the most favored imperial concubine of the then monarch, King Heun. She was said to have been sexually played before being killed. Many said that the King himself had done the deed taking in how the imperial concubine's family was rebelling at the southeast frontiers while other blamed lord Laos for defiling the woman thus having no fear of even the monarch.

A day later Lord Laos with his trusted aides were tortured and killed in the most heinous ways and in accordance to the strictest militaria rule while the rest small servants were sold away.

Nobody till present was aware what had transpired yet there was a rumor among commoners believing that one should never instigate a beast of night, many such came and disappeared mysteriously thus from the beginning to the end General Azarios was born in this world to rule even the monarchs and be the highest master.

Who would have dared thought even in their dreams that a boy with no powerful roots would crush the familes that had blossomed since the day the dynasty was established by holy forefathers yet Prime minister Zhan did.

Minister Zhan himself was from a humble background with no official powers bestowed to his ancestors yet he, with his own mind and devotion had climbed up the ranks, today being one of the most respected man of the country and the only person his head had ever bowed infront of was the imperial lineage.

With one official wife- Madam Murem and six concubines his family's branches were flourishing like a well endowed tree and this was the reason why he remained wary of the general mansion. While many others were weighing General Azarios as the one who had no ambition for power Prime minister Zhan saw something beyond the noticeable. When his wives and daughters were getting jealous over the General lady Lilith, his mind was in turmoil.

Once twenty years ago to an expedition to Gaerin for a peace offering he had the privilege to meet the most beautiful woman he had ever set his eyes upon, the woman who was married into the imperial family of Gaerin to the eleventh prince. She was princess Lyra who looked exactly same as General Lady Lilith.

Prime Minister Zhan was afraid, this General Azarios he feared had the power to alter heaven and earth with his wife.

"These begonias flowers are from the deep valleys of Ripple waterfalls thus they have a distinct smell of the regions of belonging." Princess Quare smiled gently, a flash of emotion clouding her different colored irises before they were resolved to their previous serene emotion.

"It looks as if the princess is not placid with quiet something. Every sigh has a meaning thus this one would ask forgiveness if stepped out of boundaries yet one felt what my words conveyed." Princess Nevix was roaming around the mother empress' royal garden with Princess Quare yet in her heart all it was a little disdain towards the noble ways of the women of Ambrose.

"My humble apologies to the Daxtros general princess. This one hopes that your majesty is aware of the banquet in Prime minister Zhan's manor."

Since the moment Nevix had told Emperor Alexander that she would agree to stay in Ambrose for a while for the treaty there were countless such invitations on the behalf of the empire to make her satisfied yet she refused to attend every single one.

"This one is aware." the melodious voice that gave an impression of being unable to grasp the situation despite being well aware made Princess Quare sigh and continue.

"This time the invitation has arrived on the behalf of Madam Murem and Lady Cecelia. In morning when Lady Cecelia had sent her servant to inform the general mansion that she would be visiting General lady...." Nevix could not help the curve of smile that graced her face.

The entire capital was aware of it now what her......The general had straight out rejected without giving face to the young lady saying that his wife was resting and was not an idle woman who could meet unimportant people at whim.

"This one has seen a lot of schemes and finds it extremely disgraceful."

"I have decided to go." Princess Quare who was not worried till now but simply engaging in a conversation with Princess Nevix knowing that the Daxtros' general did not had interest in these trivial matters froze, her breath stopping.

Ambrose was going to lose face one way or the other today.
