I woke up a few hours later still feeling giggly. Sam and Colby were sitting on the couch to my right, editing a video.

The girls were scattered around the room, sitting in chairs and the floor, watching a movie that was playing on the tv.

I couldn't help the goofy grin that was plastered on my face when I realized everyone stayed here with me while I slept. I still couldn't understand what these people saw in me.

I wasn't special.

"Oh hey! She's awake." Devyn said as everyone looked over at me. "What are you smiling at?" Colby asked with a grin as I giggled.

"You all stayed." I mumbled happily. "Of course we stayed, you were only asleep for like an hour." Tara said as Colby came over to give me a kiss. "How are you feeling?" He asked quietly as he brushed my hair from my face. "Amazing. I feel like I could run a marathon." I said with a giggle.

"Well I don't think you're ready for that yet but I'm glad you're feeling good." Colby said as Aisha came into the room. "Hey, how are things going in here?" She asked as I giggled, "AISHAAAAA!" I yelled as Colby went back over to the couch so he could finish editing with Sam.

"Someone's happy." Aisha said as she checked my scar. "Oooo can I see?" I asked and attempted to look at the scar on my chest. I couldn't see anything though because of the neck brace I was wearing. "I don't think you'll want to see this." Aisha said as I sighed.

"I'm not a pussy." I said as she cleaned the incision area so it wouldn't get infected. "I know you're not, it's just graphic. I know you've seen some graphic things but it's different when you're the body that it's on." She explained as Xepher stood up. "Can I see it?" She asked as Aisha shrugged.

"If you want to." Aisha said as Xepher peered over to look at it. "That's gonna be one hell of a scar." She said with a laugh as I groaned, "I wanna see." I whined as Cassie stood up to look. "Holy shit." She said with a laugh as I rolled my eyes.

"You guys are bogus." I said as Aisha covered my scar again. "What's with you and that word?" Tara asked as I giggled. "Dunno." I said then melted into my pillow again.

I was really enjoying being stoned out of my mind but I was starving again. "How are you feeling? High as hell?" Aisha asked as she finished checking my vitals. "I'm so fucking hungry." I said then rubbed my belly.

"Dude, same. What do you want? I was thinking Taco Bell." Kat said as I gasped, "BROOOOOO. Taco Bell sounds SO good." I groaned as everyone laughed. "Okay, we'll go get you Taco Bell. What do you want?" Tara asked as the girls stood up.

"The entire menu." I said with a grin as Sam and Colby finished up. "Alright, bet." Kat said as Sam handed her the keys. "We'll be baaaaack!" Tara sang as all the girls left the room.

I giggled then looked over at Sam and Colby. "Can we cuddle?" I asked as Colby chuckled. "I don't think that's possible right now." He said then came over and grabbed my hand.

"Hehe our hands are cuddling." I said as he chuckled. "Yeah, they are." He said as the door opened. I sucked in a breath as two police officers came walking into the room with Sophia.

"The drugs are legal, I promise." I said with a giggle as Colby smacked his forehead. "They're not here for that, Violet. They just want to talk to you." Sophia said as I gripped Colby's hand tighter.

I don't know why I was so nervous but I could feel my heart racing at the idea of talking about what happened.

"Woah, okay...just relax." Sophia said as Colby rubbed my forearm. "We just have a couple questions for you, you don't need to worry." One of the officers said as they sat down next to me.

"I'm sorry, I'm high." I mumbled as Colby squeezed my hand. "Don't worry about it, you're probably in a lot of pain." One of the officers said as I shrugged. "I feel great." I mumbled as I reached for my water.

I couldn't fully reach it so Colby grabbed it for me. Once I took a sip of water I let my eyes dart to the officers. "I'm ready for my interview." I said as they smiled at me.

"We just wanted to hear what you remember. The suspect has been detained but do you remember what happened?" One of the officers asked as I picked at my blanket.

"Yeah. That bitch ass cunt Daisy tried to kill me." I grumbled as Sam stifled a laugh. "Do you remember anything else?" The other officer asked as I scrunched my brow.

"Hmm...well. I walked into the room and I saw Daisy. She admitted to be the one that's been threatening me which is really fucking annoying." I grumbled as Colby rubbed my arm again.

"Okay, what were the threats?" The officer asked as my mouth suddenly got very dry again. "Umm..." I said as my voice cracked. "Do you want me to tell them, baby?" Colby asked as I nodded and reached for my water again.

"Okay. Daisy sent Violet a bloody mannequin head with a note saying to leave me alone." Colby said as the officers wrote it down. "Do you still have the head?" One of them asked as Colby nodded.

"We have it, I can bring it to the station if you want." Colby said as my mouth filled with a metallic taste. "Any other threat?" One of the officers asked as Colby nodded.

"Yeah, she dumped a can of red paint of Violet's car with a final warning." Colby explained as a chill ran down my spine.

I let my mind drift off to all the signs that I didn't take seriously. I wondered how different life would be if I took the threats seriously.

Maybe I wouldn't be so uncomfortable right now.

"Okay, so she admitted to the threats, what else?" The officer asked as my eyes watered, remembering the encounter.

I missed the time when I was in the inbetween when I got to forget that my ex best friend literally shot me in the chest.

She tried to kill me.

"Vi?" Colby asked as I chewed my lip. When I looked up at him he was looking at me with so much concern it caused me to giggle.

"Don't be sad, goober." I said and brought my hand to Colby's cheek. "I'm just worried about you." He said as I giggled. "Don't worry about little old me." I said then looked at the police officers again.

"She told me I ruined her life which I think is dramatic. Then she told me to have fun in hell before she shot me. Jokes on her though I'm alive as fuck." I said with a giggle as the metallic taste in my mouth intensified.

"My mouth tastes like ass." I grumbled as I grabbed my water again. "Can you tell me more about the relationship between you and Daisy?" The officer asked as I nodded.

"We were best pals, inseparable. I helped her through her dad leaving her. She helped me through my parents dying." I said and picked at my blanket again. "Apparently I fucked her life up though so that sucks." I mumbled then took another sip of water.

"I even helped her win a contest to meet her favorite YouTubers. It's not my fault I fell in love with one of them. It's also not my fault that I fell in love with the guy she loved." I huffed as the officer scrunched his brow.

"Can you elaborate?" The officer asked as I looked at Colby. "Can you?" I asked him as he nodded and smiled at my sympathetically.

My energy was basically gone again which was getting annoying since I just wanted to enjoy being zooted while I could.

As Colby explained what happened on the trip to the asylum I started to feel a little sick. The metallic taste in my mouth was really starting to get to me. I couldn't wait to get my Taco Bell so it would drown out the taste.

I must have been zoning out too much because Colby squeezed my hand. I just giggled and looked at him as he talked to the police.

I felt the room start to spin as the metallic taste climbed down my throat, causing me to internally gag.

"Vi?" Colby asked as I looked forwards, zoning out again. "Is she okay?" I heard someone ask as I nodded. "I'm okay, keep going." I mumbled as I looked forwards again. After a minute I felt liquid filled my mouth. It was too thick to me spit or vomit, so what could it be.

I tried to swallow it but instead I opened my mouth, spewing the red liquid all of the place.

"Violet?!" Colby asked as the room started to spin. "M'okay." I mumbled as Sophia rushed over to me.

I kept spitting out the blood that was filling my mouth as Colby trembled next to me. "M'okay." I repeated as a high pitch sound filled my ears.

"M'tired." I mumbled as I closed my eyes. "Keep your eyes open, Violet." Sophia said as I giggled and leaned my head back.

"M'gonna take a nap." I giggled as the darkness overcame me.
