I stayed in my room for a while, just reading my book. I felt a little bit better about everything, since there was no point in getting upset over someone who was just being hateful for no reason.

I got up and stretched then left the room. I heard Colby talking in the kitchen so I went there.

"Oh! Violet! Will you try this drink I made it's for the video." Colby said then pointed to the camera that was set up on the counter. "I'll try it but I don't think it's a good idea to do it for the video." I said with a grin and grabbed the drink from him.

"I hate this." He said and turned the camera off for a second. "I do too, but it's just how it has to be for now. Maybe one day we can actually be a normal couple." I said then took a sip of the red drink in my hand.

"What the hell is this?" I asked with a laugh.as I set the drink on the counter. "Uh...it's called paradise point." He said as I scrunched my brow. "It tastes like ass." I said then looked around at the mess he made.

"Really? It just fruit punch, pineapple juice and mango juice." He said as my eyes widened. "There's pineapple in this?!" I asked as he looked at me with fear in his eyes.

"Yeah?" He said and looked at me cautiously. "I'm allergic to pineapple!" I said and looked around frantically. I wasn't really allergic to pineapple but I still needed to get my revenge on Colby for leaving me stranded at work.

"Oh my god! Do you have an epipen?! Or medicine!? I'm so sorry!" Colby said frantically as I brought my hands to my throat. "N-no." I choked out then dramatically collapsed to the floor.

"Violet!!! Oh my god!" Colby screamed as he crouched down and held me in his arms. "SAM! COREY! JAKE! SOMEONE CALL 911!!" He screamed as I heard footsteps rushing towards us.

"C-c-Colby." I whispered as he looked at me with fear in his eyes. "You're okay, you're gonna be okay." He said as I put my hand on his cheek, pulling him closer to me.

"What's going on!?" Sam asked frantically as Colby looked up at him. "She's allergic to pineapple!" He said as I took my hands from my neck then stood up like nothing happened.

"W-what?" Colby asked as I walked to the fridge to grab a snack. "Did you want a snack?" I asked and held up a cheese stick. "The fuck?" He asked as I grinned.

"Get pranked bro." I said as Sam looked at me with confusion. "So...I shouldn't call 911?" He asked as I shook my head. "Please don't." I said then walked up to Colby again.

"You're not allergic to pineapple?" He asked as I shook my head. "No. I just wanted to get revenge on you for leaving me at work the other day." I said then kissed him. "I'm gonna be out back. Come out whenever." I said then turned and left the room as he looked at me with a smirk.

I knew it was really mean to prank him like that especially with all the threats I've been getting but he was a good sport about it.

I loved how goofy Colby and I's relationship was. It felt like we have been together for years, which was something is still couldn't wrap my head around.

I couldn't understand why the love we had for eachother was so strong. I wasn't going to argue though.

He just made me really happy.

When I got outside I sat in one of the chairs by the pool and pulled my knees into my chest, closing my eyes. It was a really beautiful night tonight, since it wasn't too hot or cold.

I eventually decided to scroll through my social media. I haven't been on there in a while because I was told to stay away from it since everyone was really pissed off about me being here.

Jake tried to play it of that I was just Tara's friend but it didn't work that well because I was in Sam and Colby's video already.

I tried to ignore the constant stream of notifications I was getting as I went through everyone's posts. The girls were posting a ton of stuff from the sleepover they were having which was giving me serious fomo.

I sighed then locked my phone and looked around the backyard. I couldn't believe I ended up living in a place that was massive enough to have a pool with a waterfall, a basketball court, and a fire pit.

I started to think about how Daisy dreamed about living the life I'm currently living. She dreamed that Colby would fall in love with her and sweep her off her feet. She wanted so badly to turn out how I did. I wish I could say I didn't feel bad about it.

I didn't deserve to have any of this and I guess it made me just as bad of a friend to Daisy that I just let it happen to me.

"Hey, are you okay?" Colby asked cussing me to jump. "Don't sneak up on me!" I exclaimed with a laugh as I brought my hand to my chest.

"I called your name like 5 times." He said with a laugh and sat next to me. "Sorry, I was just really zoned out." I said then sighed. "What were you thinking about." He said quietly as I relaxed into the chair again.

"The same old thing I'm always thinking about." I said with a sigh as he frowned. "You're not a shitty friend, V." He said as I shrugged. "I'm no better than her." I said and picked at my leggings nervously.

"What are you talking about?" Colby asked as he reached over to grab my hand so I would stop picking. "Daisy wanted what I have. She wanted you to fall in love with her..she wanted for you to ask her to live with you. She wanted all of this." I said and gestured to the backyard.

"That doesn't make you a bad friend though..." Colby said as I sighed. "It does though. I should have just let her have her way." I said and chewed on my lip.

"You don't love me?" He asked as I shook my head. "I love you more than anyone I have ever met before. You really make me happy. I still don't deserve you though." I said as he got up and grabbed both of my hands.

"Violet. You deserve all the happiness in the world. You have the most beautiful soul that doesn't take shit from anyone. You're funny and smart and witty and beautiful. You can't help how fate decided to play out. You can't help that I didn't fall for Daisy. You can't keep beating yourself up for being happy." He said then caressed my cheek gently.

"I'm sorry." I mumbled as he laughed. "Stop apologizing." He said then stood up so he could sit next to me again.

"Wanna go on an adventure?" Colby asked after a minute of silence. "What kind of adventure?" I asked as he grinned. "A fun one. Come on." He said and pulled my hands so I would stand up.

"What should I wear?" I asked as we walked back inside. "Something good to adventure in." He said as I rolled my eyes. "That's useless information." I said with a laugh then walked to my bedroom.

I decided on a hoodie, cropped leggings and some tennis shoes since that's what I would wear for an adventure.

"Ready to go?" Colby asked as I skipped into the foyer where he was waiting. "Yep! Where are we going?" I asked as he took my hand while grabbing his keys. "You'll see." He said then led me to the car.

We drove for a while before Colby stopped on a random street and parked the car. "What are you doing?" I asked as he laughed. "Get out of the car, V." He said then got out. I groaned then got out and walked to him.

"I don't like secrets." I grumbled as he chuckled and kissed my head. "I also don't like getting pranked so we are even." He said then took my hand.

We walked down the street then to a trail that led to the side of a mountain. I wanted to question him more as we kept walking but I knew he wouldn't tell me what we were doing.

"Alright put this on." Colby said then handed me a bandana. "Ooo kinky." I said as he rolled his eyes and turned me around so he could tie the bandana around my head. "You better not let me fall." I said as he took my hand. "Wouldn't dream of it." He said then started walking again.

Colby guided me towards this secret destination. "Okay....ready?" He asked as soon as we stopped. "More than ready." I said as I felt him untying the bandana. "Okay....3.....2....1." He said then pulled the bandana from my eyes.

I gasped at the view with a huge smile on my face. When I looked around I noticed that we were up by the Hollywood sign, looking out at the view of LA. "Oh my god...this is amazing!" I said then turned to him and attacked him with a hug.

"You like it?" He asked and hugged me. "I love it! How did you even know how to get up here? Do you bring every girl you date up here?" I asked as he chuckled. "You're the second real girlfriend I've ever had, Vi." He said quietly as I scrunched my brow.

"Wait really?" I asked as he grinned, "yeah. I was waiting for the right person." He said as I smiled and wrapped my arms around his waist again. "I'm glad you picked me." I said quietly as he brushed my hair behind my ear.

"I'm glad you picked me, too."
