I opened my eyes again but I was in some kind of office.

"Oh Y/n are you okay" Tommy wrapped around me.

"Yea" I reached up to my head and felt a bandage.

He let go and looked at me with a sad smile. "I'm so sorry" he grabbed onto my hand.

"I don't really remember what happened it's all fuzzy" I tried leaning forward but an invisible weight held me down.

"Me and Luke got in a fight and he missed and hit you" he paused holding my hand tighter "you fell forward and banged your head on the lunch table and fell backwards into the floor before I could catch you" he explained.

"It's okay" I looked up at him "it wasn't your fault"

"Okay so now that your conscious I'm going to let you go home" the nurse walked in "your moms coming."

"Okay" I looked around the room and my crutches were bloody. Did I really bleed that much.

"Thomas" a mean old voice opened the nurses door. It was the principle "please come with me" he demanded and Tommy's hand slipped from mine and he left.

"Will he be okay" I asked the nurse.

"Well it depends on who started the fight and if it was an act of self defense" she explained and typed something into her computer.

"Luke started it" I went on "he spit on him" I told her as if she make only Luke get in trouble but it would probably be both of them.

"Listen I'm sure they'll be okay" she smiled and her phone went off. "Uh huh okay" she hung up. "Your moms here" she handed me my crutches and I walked to the door.

My mom had the most worried look on her face and broke down crying when she saw me.

"Are you okay" she grabbed my face looking at my bandages.

"I'm fine" I looked left to the office and saw Tommy and Luke standing before the principal.

"Okay let's go" she led me to her car and I fell into the front seat.

We drove home and she asked me all sorts of questions about my pain and what had happened.

We went in and I went to take a shower. I had a broken ankle and had just been punched in the face along with my head slamming into a lunch table. I don't know if I could take it if I couldn't see Tommy.

I took a long shower enjoying the heat and washing blood off my head.

I jumped out (well not latterly cause I was wet and didn't want to break another ankle) the shower and changed into a pair of sweats and a tee shirt.

I walked back downstairs and sat on the couch.

"Hey- ooo" my mom came over to me "I'm going to put some medicine on that" she ran off into the kitchen.

I pulled out my phone and into Snapchat she wasn't wrong it looked bad. "Ding" a text fell from the top of my screen.

So I got suspended :(

I got up and went into the kitchen. I jumped on my left foot and onto the counter.

Mom quickly examined my head and rubbed some meds on it "ow" I weeded in pain as she poked around the area.

"This has to be done" she ripped a bandage and stuck it to my forehead. "You shouldn't have stepped in" mom told me and threw away the bandage wrapper.

"If I didn't Tommy could have gotten hit" I said sadly "and now he's suspended and I hope Luke is too!"

"Okay let's go watch a movie" she ignored what I said and we went over to the couch.

She picked 'The Notebook' and I kept fiddling with my thumbs anxious to go to school.

After the movie was over mom went and started making supper.

About 5 minutes before it was ready Andy rushed in the door "hey y'all" she screamed with a smile.

"Heyy" I smiled getting up to go hug her.

"What happened to you" Andy rushed over and grabbed my chin looking at my head.

"There was a fight" I looked to the floor.

"Did you win" she asked making a 'I know you didn't win but tell me what happened cause I'm nosy' face.

"I tried to stop the fight" I told her moving back to the couch.

"Why didn't you tell me" Andy tried to whisper to mom but just received a shrug.

"Okay what happened" she sat beside me going on to Disney+.

"Well Luke likes me and Tommy and him got in a fight over me and started having a fist fight behind me and I thought I could stop it but I got punched and bashed my head into a lunch table" I inhaled. "And now Tommys suspended and I'm not sure about Luke" I added.

"Over you" she asked.

"Well uh yea" I frowned. "Sarah my bestie asked about our date not that it was one of anything but Luke got super jealous and Tommy started bragging and yea" I laid down putting my feet up.

We sat in silence, I would have done the same thing if I was her I wouldn't know what to say.

I turned on 'Pinocchio' and mom brought us pork chops. As soon as I finished I went to my room even though the movie wasn't 10 minutes in.

I walked over to the window and knocked. Tommy came to the window not a minute later. He had a bruise on his cheek.

"Hey" Tommy smiled.

"Hey" I smiled I had no reason to call him to the window but I just wanted to talk to him, to hear his voice.

"So I got suspended and grounded" Tommy laughed.

"How do you laugh over things like that" I giggled.

"Well I'll be ungrounded when I get unsuspended which is like a week" he paused "I'll be fine!"

We just smiled at each other and I heard footsteps coming from behind him but he didn't move. His door opened and he's swung around, it was his mom.

"Hey Tom oh hey Y/n" she smiled and sat on the end of his bed.

"Hi Mrs. Simon" I waved and Tommy looked embarrassed.

"Oh your poor head" she looked at me.

"It's fine" I smiled.

"Well I need to know if Tom told the truth" she began and Tommy's mouth dropped. "Can I speak to her for a minute?"

He left the room and I giggled.

"So what happened from your point of view" she asked sitting on a small stool he had in front of his window.

"Well Luke started bickering over something and Tommy started fighting back and then Luke got up and spit on him and he got up and so on" I said exhausted for the 4th time saying the story.

"Okay so he didn't lie" she turned around and hopped back on the bed "TOM" she screamed and Tommy walked back into the room.

"Here" she handed him his phone "your not grounded just no streaming" she announced and walked out the door.

"Thank you n/n" he smiled and reached out the window to hug me. (N/n means nick name for those who didn't know)

"You're welcome" I giggled smelling his warm scent of cinnamon.

"Wanna watch a movie" I asked.

"Sure" he smiled.

I extended my hand and wanted him to climb through.

"Wait you want me to climb through" he asked.

"Cmon don't be a wimp" I giggled and he grabbed my hand and slowly climbed over.

"That's not as bad as I thought" he laughed.

I got in my bed and he climbed on beside me. We ended up picking 'finding Dory'

About half way through the movie I was hugged around him laying on his chest and he was hugging me. I was almost asleep when my door opened I continued to lay still with my eyes closed not wanting to move.

"Oh hey Tommy" Andy covered her laugh.

"Oh I'm sorry do you need her" he asked and held on to me tighter.

"No I was coming to check if she was okay but she seems fine" and with the Andy left as quickly as she had came in.

Tommy giggled to himself and continued to watch the movie.
