《The Promise! (Tommyinnit x reader)》Chapter 2: Moving Away

"Hey wake up" I felt tapping on my shoulder. I didn't want to wake up, I didn't want to move away, I just wanted it all to be a dream.
"Mhm" I groaned rolling and covering my eyes from the sunlight pouring in the living room.
"Come on" Alex demanded and ripped my warm soft covers off of me.
"Fine" I groaned and got up wandering off to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and quickly got under the cabinet looking for Emily's hair brush. I brushed it through my long dirty blond hair looking satisfied I walked out.
I walk out and notice everyone staring at me with sad looks on their faces except Sadie. Way to ruin my moment Sadie. Today was the day, I couldn't believe it, I would finally be moving to the UK and not coming back to America.
I frowned and broke down crying giving everyone hugs. "Y/n" Emily's mom yelled from the front door, "your parents are here."
I ran back to Emily's bedroom wiping my tears I grabbed my bag and headed back to the kitchen where everyone was standing.
Everyone started saying goodbye which made me cry harder. I grabbed a pop tart off the counter and headed out.
"Hey if you meet Tommyinnit you better call me immediately" Emily pointed her finger at me trying to lighten the mood. Everyone laughed and I knew it was going to be hard without her.
I sighed and buckled in and waved them goodbye one last time. After 20 minutes of me trying to calm myself down we pulled into the airport.
My mom grabbed her bags first then me then my dad. We all headed in and I was scared to leave everything behind.
We waited for the plane to be called

"You ready" my mom asked me as we stepped on the plane.
"I guess" I tried smiling to show her I was okay but deep down I was still balling my eyes out.
With my luck my parents were 3 rows behind me, but I got a window seat so I didn't care. Soon 2 boys around my age walked up and sat down. They were twins.
"Hello" one of them waved towards me smiling.
"Hi" I smiled back trying hard not to let my tears slide out.
"So why are you goin-" the middle one started talking but got cut off by the pilot.
"Please put on your seatbelts and we will be leaving shortly" he said in a monotone voice.
"Sounds like someone doesn't get paid enough" I giggled at my own joke and the 2 boys found it funny as well.
We all fastened our seatbelts and began talking about why we were going where we were. I found out that they were getting adopted there.
The plane slowly started moving and at that moment I realized I had never been on a plane before.
I grabbed the seatbelt as if it was holding me and it was my only way to survive.
"Hey are you okay" the boy in the middle had asked.
"Uh yeah" I closed my eyes and waited "I've never been on a plane before" I giggled trying to make myself feel better.
-time skip-
It had been about an hour and the boys were texting each other and non-stop giggling had erupted from them.
"What are y'all laughing at" I questioned sitting up so I could get a better look at them. The middle ones face grew red by the second and the outside twin couldn't stop laughing to say what was going on.

"He-" his brother, the middle one, flung his arm over and put it over his mouth "no" he scolded which only caused him to laugh more.
"Don't listen to him" he told me sitting back.
A few minutes later the middle boy turned to me "you're gonna see my name in a weird place"
I looked at him confused and noticed his brother recording from his side. "Uh where" I asked kinda confused.
"In your contacts" he said proudly "I-in your phone contacts" he stuttered.
I didn't know what to do so I let out a very awkward giggle. He was serious I couldn't take it so I got up and headed to the bathroom hearing his brother laughing so hard he might pee himself.
This was going to be a long flight.
After what seemed like forever on the plane they finally announced that it would be time to leave. The 2 boys rushed off and I waited for my parents to come to the seat I was in before I moved. We got off and I was getting excited...
Until I realized... we have no car. "Mom how will we be able to drive" I asked knowing we would need a new drivers licenses here which would take a while and they drove on the wrong side of the road here.
"Oh no we haven't thought of that" my mom turned to my dad looking all serious and they burst into laughter.
"Oh sweetie Andy's coming to pick us up" my dad smiled.
My eyes lit up. Andy was my older sister, 4 years older to be exact, and she moved to the UK for collage and she fell in love with the place and decided to stay. She had also got a streaming platform and a big amount of followers in a little amount of time.
We walked out the building and sure enough Andy rolled up in her Jeep. I was so excited!
The windows to her black Jeep keep slowly rolled down "hey guys" she waved. I hadn't heard her voice in person in so long. We hopped in the car and I gave her the biggest hug.
"Aww you're so tall now" Andy smiled and wrapped her arms around my back.
She then let go and hugged everyone else, I slowly put on my seatbelt and mom sat beside me while dad sat in front.
"Where too" Andy asked with her country accent slightly gone.
Mom reached her her phone and Siri began giving directs of the GPS. It started to rain and I watched as the raindrops raced down the window and out of sight. There were so many tall buildings, I wasn't used to seeing this.
A couple minutes later we had arrived at the house. "This is the one~" Andy smiled.
The house seemed small. It was brick and appeared to be 2 floors. The houses next to it were basically connected, they maybe had an inch apart.
"3 2 1" I jumped out the car and raced in trying not to get wet. Mom jogged behind me laughing the entire way.
"You ready kiddo" she asked excited.
"As ready as I'll ever be" I couldn't take it open the door already I thought.
She put the key in and turned it slowly and the door opened.

The Traveler
Reincarnated with no information other than a single mysterious message, little Damian must survive as an infant in a world of might and magic. He’d better not get caught possessing his memories, or he might spend a thousand years suffering. Being a baby in another world is weird, disorientating, scary, disgusting, and also heartwarming. It doesn’t just happen for no reason, but the “why?” might be a harder puzzle to solve than conquering the whole entire realm. He was more concerned with making it to his first birthday without being damned by the gods or eaten by dangerous monster.

I, Mor-eldal: The Necromancer Thief
As a budding little necromancer, I soon discovered that the world of city people is complicated. When my master kicked me out of the cave, he warned me not to talk about my “dark” magic, because people here don't like the undead. I am not really an undead, I just have a skeleton hand, but it is better to be careful. Anyway, that's not my biggest worry. In the Black Dagger brotherhood, I learn a lot of things, such as illusionist magic, which turns out to be quite handy to survive in this maze of streets: in the Cat Quarter, we have thugs of all kinds that are best avoided. But we also have good people, goodhearted “gwaks”, as we say around here. Little did I know that I would soon be caught up in an infamous traffic that would entangle my life even more. With a mix of lighthearted adventure and picaresque, this story narrates the hectic life of a good-spirited street child and his companions in a medieval urban fantasy setting with some nineteenth-century influences. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2017 and 2018.
