《The Owl House: Wolfwalkers on the Boiling Isles》Part 7: Running with the Wolves

Luz just kept on running through the woods, shocked about everything that happened to her tonight. She was running at full speed, as her tail had bits of ice crystal on it. She was starting to get tired, but she didn't care. She had to find a way to fix this. And knew exactly who to go too.
She was so busy running, that she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings. As she tripped and fell. She looked up, to see a silhouette of another wolf, walking away. Possibly to it's den. But Luz knew who that wolf was. "Katya!" She shouted, and ran after her, still trying to get use to her four legs. She heads through a forest path, and follows Katya's sent all the way to the den she lives in. She got to her, as she bumped into her, and the two fell right into the den. Katya appearing on top of Luz, and growling, "Who are you. How did you find this place!" "No wait. Katya, it's me." said Luz, in a frighten state. Katya regonizing that voice to be Luz's, and gets off of her. "Is that really you?" "Yes, Katya. It's me. But that's not all what I was going to say. Why do I look like this?!" Luz asked. "I don't know." Katya replied, confused. "It wasn't supposed to happen like that. Cuz I healed the bite. So, I thought you would be fine. I guess not." "Guess not?! Katya, I almost got killed because I'm now a Wolfwalker! Change me back!" Luz demanded. But Katya's face went to disappointment. "About that, according to the legends, once you're bitten by a Wolfwalker, you'll become one yourself. And that's it. You can't reverse the affects." "So, that means I'm stuck like this! What about my body?!" "Don't worry, cat lady. Your body is back in bed, asleep. Nice and cozy. Look, you're a wolf when you sleep, a girl when you're awake. Nothing to worry about." Katya explained. But Luz was starting to worry about Eda, and her friends finding out. Including Amity. "You won't have to worry about a thing, after I teach you the ways of the wolf. Follow me." Katya said, as Luz follows behind her.

"Why do you even want to be a human girl for the rest of your days. Besides, being a wolf is an amazing experience, and way better. I'll show you." The two make their way to a nearby lake, with a waterfall. Where Luz's training has just begun.
"First off, can you smell me?" Questioned Katya. "Well, yea. Duh. All the wolves can." Luz replied, followed by a giggle coming from Katya. "Well then, close your eyes." And Luz did so. When she closed them, she can see the outline silhouette of Katya. "You don't need your eyes to see when you're sneaking up on something, or when during hunting. And you can hear every little thing. The snapping of a twig, and the pitter-pattering of the small mysterious creature's feet. As your paws, can feel vibrations through the Earth." Luz can hear and feel the vibrations of every small thing. "And, you have four legs now. Which means you can run really fast, and jump so high!" As so, Katya jumped over Luz, and started to run from her. "Catch ya later!" "Not if I catch you first!" Luz then began to chase after Katya through the woods. Finally understanding what is like to be a wolf. "Let your spirits free, Luz. Be a wolf!" And so, Luz did. She finally has accepted that, being a wolf isn't all that bad. She wasn't worried about Eda, her friends, Amity, or anything. She just let her spirit run free.
She eventually caught up with Katya, who is running along with the Pack. "See, isn't being a wolf awesome!" Asked Katya. "Very. I was misunderstood. Right now, I feel so wild and free. Like I can go anywhere." Luz replied, followed by letting out a howl. "That's the spirit." And the two, along with the Pack of wolves by their side, ran off into the night, enjoying the freedom Katya dreamed of having.

The Gambit
The kingdoms have rarely experienced peace, with kings and rulers warring against each other on any percieved slight. With explorers riding the waves to find new lands and merchants eager to set up trade routes while profiting as much as possible. Would the status quo still hold up? The veil is already weakining as more magic and horrors seep through the gap. How would the world deal with the sudden increase in the limited resource of magic? With the times changing, barren lands become trade hubs and the power shifts. The system holding it all together, is in a fragile balance, would a single death break the balance and cause the most devastating war the people have experienced. The direction of the story : The story will not contain any main protagonist, rather multiple protagonists and antagonists with the protagonists having bad some character traits and the antagonists some good ones. I plan to make a story of flawed humans, so if you are looking for OP MCs you would not enjoy it. But I still hope you give it a try. This is my first time writing and I am doing it to get better, so any suggestion or criticism is welcome. I am a university student, so do not expect a robust upload schedule, I'll try to put out 2 chapters a week, but there might be some delays. I apologize for it in advance. P.s. English is not my native language, so there might be some errors, though I tried to mitigate them as much as possible.
