《The Original Lamelo Ball Imagines | Book 1》The Maid

"I don't wanna do this shit no more, bruh." I whined, staring out the window of my cousins cleaning van. I accidentally crashed my car, so I had to make up for it and get a job. My cousin said she'd fuck with me on the job and get her boss to hire me, but she didn't tell me I'd be cleaning people's houses all day. "Suck it up ____. This the last house of the day." She spoke pulling up to a gate. Speaking into it, it opened and we drove up the hill. I kissed my teeth as the house came into view.
"This bitch big as fuck." I slammed my body against the seat of my car, folding my arms across my chest huffing. "We gone be here all damn day."
"Look on the bright side! You're making money, honey." She laughed while hopping out the van grabbing some shit out the back. The one thing about Carolina was she was always sweet and optimistic, however, me, I was the opposite.
"Come on, hoe." She yelled opening my side of the door. Pulling me out rather aggressively.
"HEY CAROLINA!" A tall lightskin male yelled. It was too late in the afternoon for him to be doing all of that. "What's up big baller." She cheesed walking pass him, and I did the same.
"Who's this you bringing into my house, girl? I don't know her she could be a thief." He talked, more like yelled, about me like I wasn't even there. "This is my cousin ____. She's gone be helping me for the next few weeks until she gets her car fixed."
I faked a smile, before walking away. She already told me I had to clean all the bedrooms and the corresponding bathrooms and I was not in the mood for no chit chatting. I was gone get this shit done.

Making my way to the first bedroom it was dirty as shit. I'm talking clothes everywhere, food everywhere, and it had a little odor to it. First I made the bed. I'm guessing it was a niggas room cuz of the ps4 and basketball in the room. "Awe this shit is nasty." I cringed picking up shit off the floor and into the trash can.
A tall lightskin boy, with bouncy curly hair came walking out the bathroom just draped in a towel. "Oh shit. My bad." I spoke quickly turning. "I didn't know-."
"Who the fuck are you?" He cut me off.
Who the fuck are YOU, talking to me like that. Cocking my head to the side I started to go off, but I was still $1000 away from getting my car fixed. And this was the best job I had so far, so I bit the inside of my cheek to not say anything reckless.
"You can turn around now." He laughed before flopping on his bed now with just some pajama pants on. "I just made that." I sighed frustrated, continuing my job.
"You never answered my question."
"I don't give strangers my name."
"But you clean strangers houses."
"Yeah okay and?" I retorted quickly. "What's your point." I looked at him with a stank face. He was trying me and I wasn't finna have it. My temper was already short.
"You work for me, so you're gonna answer my questions."
I scoffed rolling my eyes before turning my attention back to his dirty ass room. "With a smile."
"I'll show you a smile when I shove this fucking broom up yo ass." I mumbled to myself, laughing in the process.
"What you say?" He lifted himself off the bed, cocking his head to the side.

"I said." I yelled dramatically tossing the broom to the side. "I'll shove this fucking broom up yo ass, keep fucking playing wit me. Witcha nasty ass room. You need to do better." I picked up a condom off his floor. "That's why you ain't using these cuz don't no hoe wanna be fucked in this shit." I threw the condom at him. It smacked him perfectly in his face.
"Damn, that boy silent! Carolina imma have to keep her around. She put melo in check!" Big Baller yelled.

Nowhere Stars
For as long as anyone can remember, humans have been preyed upon by Harbingers, living nightmares which devour dreams and passions and souls, and defended by Keepers. These children alone hold the gift of magic, the wild and wondrous ability to impose emotions over reality and empower their frail bodies with the splendor of their souls. Under their protection, humanity was able to survive and thrive. While modern Keepers have come to enjoy a social position somewhere between celebrities and religious idols, very few accept the mantle simply to be a hero. The Messengers of the Goddess Claiasya, spirits charged with awakening the magic in suitable souls, promise that Keepers who consume and purify enough Harbingers will obtain the power to change themselves or the world in nearly any way they wish. It’s for this purpose that Liadain Shiel, a young girl born terminally ill, throws herself into life as a Keeper when her opportunity comes, hoping against hope to rewrite her fate and save her life while she still can. But magic wants its wielders to grow and change, not simply continue living, and the secrets swimming beneath the sea and behind the sky have lives and designs of their own. Nowhere Stars is an ongoing fantasy-horror web novel about traumacore magical girls, nightmares clothed in ribbons and lace, alienation from reality, and broken children twisting the world into whatever shape they must to make their dreams come true. This is a mirror of Nowhere Stars' home site, located here. Updates will be posted at the same time, currently once a week on Wednesdays. Support Nowhere Stars on Top Web Fiction here!

Reality Grants One Chance
Some people are lucky, some aren't, some - have terrible luck. Our "hero" is of the latter kind. During young age he got into an accident, which allowed him to learn the fact that he belongs to a rare group of people.. People diagnosed with lung cancer, which he, however survived. Can't say he's lucky, as his life went downhill from that point... Our story happens years later, when his fate decides to make a loop and throw him in the same kind of accident. He gets hit by a truck. Surviving the crash, suffering just a few scratches, he is ultimately "lucky" to find himself out of the hospital in no time.. however every bit of good luck always brings him terrible luck afterwards. This time pushing him maybe a bit too far.. How far? Making him vanish without a trace and find himself in the middle of an unknown forrest. Doesn't sound bad? He can consider himself lucky? Just wait and see...It can always get worse.. always.. .... Congratulations, you've made it through the intro and into the author note! If you by any chance missed the tags and didn't read the warning, please do that now. I really recommend you to. Before you jump to reading, and unintentionally scar yourself, do mind that the story is about a dark, unforgiving world, a world in which you have more opportunities to die a horrible death, than take a piss. Hero doesn't have great luck, he has dumb persistance, he doesn't go through any trial with a breeze, he pays the price of blood, flesh and tears to live..and will be paying for every mistake.. No one outright explains anything to him, just as us for the most part - he is not sure what the hell is going on.. Some real survival tactics are used as a base of the descriptions, they are as important to the world and character as any other element.. Mind that the story starts really slow, but as the stone starts rolling downhill - the pace gets faster.. Every tag for this novel has a reason to be there, so if you don't see the particular element there, don't panic.. it's either well camoufalged, subtle or simply not encountered as of yet. Big thanks to Hobbo, Enyhrye and Hveth! ...not only pointing that the description could be better, but providing invaluable input.. and being patient enough to give fleshed out advice.

Star Wars X Mass Effect
Like the title says, it's a crossover between Star Wars and Mass Effect. I'm using both the Star Wars Legends continuity and my personal playthrough of Mass Effect Trilogy for the story. This is actually my first fan fiction ever, so sorry in advance if chapters feel like summaries or my writing in general is off.

Dragon Rising
Against the odds, driven by revenge and the desire to find his parents, Long Yang rises to the peak as a true dragon amongst men. - (Dragon as in genius/powerhouse/alpha/etc not dragon as in like actual flying lizard) As this is my first novel, feel free to give me any feedback! Thanks for reading :) I redid it from scratch!

Leveling Up Is Better Than Reality
If you've ever been called a slacker, you know, it's not that you're lazy, it's just that you're not interested. Your values don't allow you to work hard as you wish to live in a heaven-like world where you don't have to do anything. As Gandhi said, ""Be the change you wish to see in the world...'' Wise words indeed. This story's about lazy- I mean an idealist hero named Zellin living in an RPG-like world. I'm going to deem this work as PG-13, but you never know...
