In case you were wondering what the "cord cutting" things is...
It's a meditation that helps you cut the cord with someone you have some kind of attachment to.
When you have some kind of attachment with somebody, an energetic cord can form between you and that person.
It can be a friend, family, lover, ex, a fling, somebody you're obsessed with, etc. You can even have energetic cords with people you don't know, or don't know that well!
This cord holds negative energy, so that's why you might want to get rid of it.
By practicing this meditation you're not cutting this person out of your life. You're simply cutting the energetic cord that transmits negative energy.
"Even when you think a relationship is over, you will still feel residual pain and drama."

In the city of Kholakel, the highlight of the year for the upper classes is the annual monster pacification of the misty woods. Ostensibly it's a culling of the monster population to prevent them encroaching on urban areas, but it's an open secret that it's actually treated as more of a blood sport, the participants competing to score the most kills. As this year's culling approaches, a group of unfortunate children are about to discover the answer first-hand, but thanks to an unexpected twist of fate, one of them will score the chance to play the role of the hunter instead of the prey. This was an attempt at writing something darker than my usual fare. The story I actually ended up with isn't as mean to the MC as I'd originally planned out, to the point that I'm not sure the story deserves the horror/grimdark tags anymore, but this is still an unfair world with unambiguously evil antagonists. Chapters are short to start with, but get longer once the first act is over.

His heart never withers to support the mage of the red lotus that promises the Enlightenment of the Buddha-Land. Except that no one has ever endured the latitude of the heat. The pain. Alive, out of the desert sea. But he is also vulnerable to recognize the un-staticity of The Truth, The Truth itself, and the truth of seeking passion and mission for compassion in humankind. The mind and body reciting The Sūtra and The Heart, A phenomenon they knew better as if souls in chemical layers of their physique. Realizing enhanced mind training attaining controlling powers of life and death. Realizing the transformation of the unbearable pains and grievances he thought possible. . 2 . 🐉 .
