To say that Adrien was bored would be an understatement. He was currently sat on one of the stools waiting for his break to be over so that the last shoot of the day would be over.

He was tired of Lila's constant yapping.

In fact, he'd actually have to wait until his cousin arrived. The two were meant to do a shoot together. To be honest, he was shocked that Felix even agreed, but he bet that his mother convinced him to or something. Either way, modelling with his cousin was a much better option than Lila. He wasn't even sure why she was still here. She was done for the day and she was busy telling one of the make up artists about how if it wasn't for getting arthritis in her leg, she would have been able to keep the MJ role instead of Zendaya.

The makeup artist seemed to struggle at keeping a straight face at her words. Clearly her lies didn't work on everyone. Some lies were dumber than the next. But Adrien's friends really seemed to buy into them. As long as none of them are hurt, it's not so bad. He's sure that they'll realise soon enough anyway.

He still felt pretty bad for the makeup artist though. He's been in that position himself one to many ties while she latches herself onto him arm.

He shivers at the thought. He'd prefer if she doesn't do that but she does anyway. The perfume she wears is either too strong or she puts way too much on. He never says anything though. As long as she is happy and not at risk of getting akumatized, then all is well.

That's why he's excited to talk to Marinette at school tomorrow so that everything can finally be resolved. He's been mulling over his feelings for the French-Asian girl a lot more since he thought about talking to her tomorrow. He realized that after all the time he went to her balcony as Chat Noir, he was falling for her. When Ladybug took his miraculous away from him, it finally sunk in that Ladybug was never going to love him. He'll never forget the look of disappointment and annoyance on her face before Ryuko came out of nowhere and knocked him out because he was refusing to give it up.

He was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the familiar click-clack of Nathalie's shoes coming over to him.

"Adrien, the final shoot has had to be postponed for next week. Vincent has had to leave because his wife is about to go into labour." She explained.

Adrien felt relieved, "oh, ok that's fine. I'll be meeting up with my friends earlier than planned then"

Nathalie nodded, "your father wants you home no later than six. He's giving you extra time because he has a few meetings today" said Nathalie before she walked over to Lila to tell her the same thing about the shoot being postponed.

'When is father never busy?' Adrien mused. He was grateful though. His father was letting him come home an hour later than his usual curfew. His father must be having a good day. That's the only explanation. Even meetings shouldn't usually have an impact on his curfew.

Either way, he can now spend more time at that fare that recently came to town with Nino and Alya. Lila would be coming too of course. Alya arranged this to be a 'double date' thing.

A few minutes later, Lila and Adrien left the crew to pack up while they made their way to meet their friends who said that they would wait for them at the gate of the fare.

"I cannot believe we have to wait until next week!" Lila whined

"Well, it's not Vincent's fault Lila. It's not like he or his wife can control when a baby is about to come."

Lila pouted and shook her head, "Whatever. Are you excited to have fun? We should totally take a bunch of cute photos at those photo booths together!"

Adrien strained a smile, "yeah sure."

"Lila! Adrien! You guys are finally here!" Alya squealed and ran over to pull Lila in for a hug and the Italian reciprocated.

Adrien walked up to Nino and the two fist bumped each other.

"You good bro?" said Nino

"Yeah I'm great. Father has allowed me to stay out an hour longer than usual. I have to be home by six" Adrien replied

"Pretty cool of your old man to do that for you. still don't like him though. No offense"

Adrien shook his head and smiled at his best friend, "None taken. Four hours of fun turned into five"

"Girl we're gonna have so much fun!" Alya said excitedly.

The two of them linked arms and walked ahead of the boys and began to chat.

"Guess we should follow," Nino chuckled

"Yeah" Adrien agreed and the two boys began to trail behind the girls while they looked around to see what they would like to do first.

The blondes mind wandered to the blue eyed beauty. He was wondering what she was doing. He wondered if Marinette was thinking about him at all especially since she has a crush on him.

Just the thought made him a little giddy.

"This is a more relaxing than I anticipated it to be" Kagami said and let out a relaxed sigh after the cucumber slices were placed over her eyes.

"I just cannot believe you two have never done this before" Chloe giggled

"Not all of us have time like you do Chlo" Marinette chuckled. Though she had to admit, this was better than she thought. Spa day was something she greatly needed. And these robes were super comfy, "but I'm grateful that we're doing this now. I so needed this"

"you needed this more than us Mari," said Kagami, "especially with what you had to put up with"

"we all need this. Especially with a certain moth freak on the loose" Marinette laughed

"Why can we not have normal men in this world who like peace" Chloe whined.

"Hey, not all men are whackos. There are good ones. We just gotta look out for them" Marinette chuckled, "I mean, we all had a crush on Adrien, that wasn't such a great time"

"Ugh. Do not remind me. The fact that I liked the guy makes my stomach twist. I cannot date a coward" Kagami said bluntly

"Oh! Speaking of dating, Kagami, remember Friday Kagami?"

"What?" Kagami asked, sounding genuinely confused

"Oh yeah, you were about to tell us the name of the guy you liked"

Kagami could feel herself blush and she cursed internally. She'd somehow forgotten about that but of course, her two friends did, "Ah...y-yes I do remember"

"Wonderful! Now tell us about him. What's his name? where is he from? What's he like? Is he good looking? Is he smart? Is he-"

"Mari, calm down. One question at a time," said Chloe, "also, of course the guy would be good looking!"

"Um, is this a conversation we really need to have?" Kagami asked shyly.

"Duh. We're best friends. I get this was something you weren't used to before, but these are the sort of conversations we have. Boy talk is always fun. And we promise not to say anything to anyone. Not like we know who he is anyway. We'd do the same" Marinette replied

Kagami let out a sigh, "Ok. Alright I'll tell you about him. For starters he's in my Biology, physics, PE and maths class"

"He sounds smart" Chloe commented

"He is," Kagami said with a small smile

"What's his name?" Marinette asked

"his name is Tanaka Park

"Where is he from?" asked Marinette.

"His father is Korean. Hs mother is Zimbabwean. I remember seeing them at the last parents evening that was held last term. I never spoke to them myself of course, he just told me where they're from."

"That's pretty interesting. What else can you tell us about him?" asked Chloe

"he's tall. 6ft I'd guess. He moved to Paris from England last year. He's very athletic. Captain of the basketball team and he fences."

"Extra point then" Marinette chuckled, "is he a worthy opponent for you when it comes to fencing?"

"He's a worthy challenger yes. More than Adrien. He'd only joined the sessions Adrien and I attend a few months ago. He surprised me at first. He made it seem like he knew nothing of the sport. When I got pared up with him, he beat me faster than I could process."

"No way!" Chloe gasped, The Kagami Tsuguri was defeated. The world has come to an end!"

Kagami rolled her eyes behind her closed eyelids but still smiled.

"Is he nice? You can have tall, good looking, sporty and smart guys in one but does he have a good enough personality?" Marinette asked

"From what I've seen, yes. His morals and ethics are similar to mine. That's what makes him even more attractive. He is kind. He is confrontational but not in a way that he's totally mean about it. He just doesn't allow himself to be stepped on." Kagami explained.

"Well, he sounds perfect for you. When are you gonna ask him out?" Chloe asked.

Kagami could feel herself heat up even more and she thought the face mask would melt off her face due to the heat, "w-w-what kind of question is that? I can't ask him out!"

"I can't blame you on that one Kagami. I'd never have the guts to ask a guy out" Said Marinette

"Man, you guys are no fun!" Chloe whined

"Would you ask a guy out?" both Kagami and Marinette asked at the same time

Chloe chuckled, "Probably. But I prefer to be asked. If a guy wants me, he's gonna have to get me himself."

Lila watched as Alya beamed when Nino handed her the new Ladybug plush doll. Since the three heroine's outfits had changed, so did the merchandise. Ladybug specifically.

She didn't even want to think about their new stupid outfits, including Ladybug's. She'd also seen enough things on the internet from guys about how hot and curvaceous she is now that she's clearly gotten older.

Ugh. Honestly, Lila wanted to rip off the head of that doll. All of the dolls. But she obviously couldn't. After all, it would make her look bad especially since she told everyone that Ladybug was her best friend.

Psh! Yeah right. Lila would much rather be best friends with Marinette! Either way, she despises both. She hopes that Hawkmoth will finally send out an akuma strong enough to actually kill the stupid bug. Maybe Marinette in the process so that she can't be lifted by that miraculous cure. Maybe, have Marinette akumatized so she can kill Ladybug and herself even.

Lila grinned internally at the thought. That stupid girl would finally be out of her way for good. She hoped that she was currently alone feeling miserable about how she has everything and she has nothing. She'll make sure to remind that baker's daughter of it tomorrow when she walks into class tomorrow looking hurt.

She has control and she'll make sure that Marinette feels nothing but misery the way she most likely is feeling right at this very moment.

Eventually, the trio's face pampering was over and they were now going to get their nails done while sitting in large black massage chairs.

Again, Marinette was the first to let out the longest and most relaxed sigh, "Ahh...this is so relaxing. I just could fall asleep"

"Sir, I do not understand, why did you end up writing the young girl a recommendation for Collège Sévigné. Did you not say that she would be the one to bring Emelie back?" Nathalie asked

"Yes," Gabriel nodded, "but at the same time, the girl has talent. It would be foolish of me to not do so and I know that Miss Bourgeois would continue to pester me about it."

"So what is the plan. She could be staying on campus."

Gabriel frowned. The thought hadn't crossed his mind. If the young designer were to move into the school dorms, having Lila and the rest of that class target her would be difficult. Gabriel needs Marinette to let go of her restraint and resistance of getting akumatized. As annoying as it is for her to deny him over and over again, he is gaining something from it as well. The more she resists, the stronger she will be when he finally gets into her head and gives her power. When he does, none of the heroines will be able to take down his master piece and he will finally, after nearly four years, get his wish!

"I will have to think. The town where Collège Sévigné is hasn't been a place that I have akumatized people at much. I don't recall a time I ever did, so I must be careful. However, I know that she will come back some times to see her parents. And they let the students leave during half term breaks and holiday breaks. She is bound to run into her old classmates and I doubt Lila will have a problem in causing trouble."

Nathalie nodded, trusting Gabriel's plan as always, "What will you do with Lila once Miss Dupain-Cheng agrees to get the miraculous?"

"I will have no need for her any more. She wasn't really someone I needed to begin with, until I noticed that Miss Dupain-Cheng seemed to be one of her targets. When everything comes to plan, I will not need her any more."

"But she does work for you as a model too. Will she keep that position?"

"She's here so I can keep an eye on her and she can keep an eye on Adrien. But I will see when that time comes. Maybe not but I also see that she is interested in Adrien romantically, though I'm not sure if he reciprocates those feelings at the moment. I will have to think about it. Especially since Kagami Tsuguri all of a sudden want nothing to do with Adrien any more. Neither does Chloe funnily enough. I'm not sure what Adrien did to upset the girls that would have been good for him especially with her status."

"I see. So I take it that we will wait out for a bit before we strike again?"

"Yes. I'm also yet to feel a someone who will be a potentially strong akuma. However, today will not be that day. We'll give the heroines a small break. They soon will not know what hit them." Gabriel said with an evil grin as he looked out his large window and down at the city.

"Seems like our manifestation really worked. It is almost five and not one akuma has struck yet" Kagami stated as she brushed Marinette's hair.

"Maybe Hawkmoth has taken the day off" Marinette giggled. She snorted when Kagami told her to sit still.

"Well I hope he takes a few days off then. I do not want y newly done nails to be ruined" Chloe said as she scrolled through some Netflix shows to find one that they can binge on while they wait for Sabine to bring up their popcorn and other snacks.

"You girls really do deserve rest. Hawkmoth's akuma's have been the worst this month alone" said Loong.

"Oh my gosh yes they have. Remember that Yandere one. She was a nightmare. And that's saying something since we've had to deal with Sandboy more than once." Said Marinette with a light shiver at the thought.

"Yeah, that one was crazy. Out of all the akuma's, she had the highest kill count." Kagami said.

Chloe turned to her with a raised brow, "you've been counting?"

Kagami shook her head, "no of course not. She just mentioned how many. I'm not too sure any of the other akuma's have killed just over half the city. And it wasn't too shocking ether. Her powers were based off the Yandere Simulator game. Thankfully each mode only lasted a few minutes."

Chloe's nose scrunched at the thought, "Yeah your right. She's someone I never want to have to battle again. Absolute psychopath she was. And when she was de-akumatized, she seemed like such a sweetheart. Scary."

"Yeah. Hawkmoth sure has his way with people now. Even with the sweetest of people." said Pollen with a sad tone.

Just then, there was a knock at Marinette's door. The kwamii quickly hid as Sabine came in with a large bowl of popcorn and a plate of various sweet treats.

"Here you are girls. These should hopefully last you some time. Though if you need anything else, just come down and help yourself to what's in the kitchen" said Sabine

"Thank you!" the girls said

"No problem. And do not stay up too late, especially you Marinette. Don't want to be late for your first day at Collège Sévigné"

"We'll make sure she goes to sleep Sabine" said Chloe

Sabine smiled, "I'm sure you will" she said before she left the bedroom and shut the door.

Finally, Chloe had found a show for them to watch. The three girls and the kwamii all sat together on Marinette's bed and watch TV while indulging in the snacks that were given to them.
