Recap:

Everyone freezes when an explosion goes off in the school's quad.

Present:

Exposer: LADYBUG, CHAT NOIR! COME OUT! YOU'VE GOT PRESENTS THAT HAWKMOTH WANTS!

[Let's go back about 5 minutes to see what happened.]

Flashback~:

We see Alix quickly skating away from the school wiping the tears from her eyes with the sleeve of her shirt.

She goes to the park and sits on a bench crying into her hands.

Alix: I can't believe she did that to me...

She continues crying not noticing that there's an Akuma flying toward her miraculous.

The Akuma flies into her watch and she sits there under Hawkmoth's control.

Hawkmoth: Exposer, I am Hawkmoth. The girl who betrayed your friend once before has now done the same to you. I am giving you the power to reveal everyone's darkest secrets, desires, and wishes. All you have to do is get me Ladybug and Chat Noir's miraculous. What do you say?

Alix: You bet Hawkmoth! Nobody's secrets will be safe ever again!

With that she transforms into Exposer, which is the picture you see above.

Present:

Mrs. Bustier: Everyone make sure you get to safety!

Everyone runs to find somewhere to hide while Alya goes to film, and all the remaining miraculous holder go to transform.

Marinette: Plagg, claws out!

Chloe: Pollen, buzz on!

Nino: Wayzz, shell on!

Max: Kaalki, full gallop!

Nathaniel: Trixx, let's pounce!

Kim: Xuppu, showtime!

Juleka: Roarr, paint my stripes!

Ivan: Stompp, halter on! (FYI this is from Wiki so...)

After they transform and go to fight Alix.

Hawkmoth: Exposer, it looks like Ladybug and Chat Noir have switched miraculous. If she's here the original Chat Noir will be here soon enough. All you have to do is find out who he is.

Exposer: Got it Hawkmoth!

She starts shooting hypno dust at them and they keep dodging, but can't keep it up for long.

LadyNoir: Pegasus, watch-

By the time she tries to warn him he's already been hit with the hypno dust.

Pegasus: I'm an open book of secrets, desires, and wishes.

Exposer: Who's the person hiding behind the Chat Noir mask?

Pegasus: The girl behind the Chat Noir mask is M-

LadyNoir: QUEEN BEE NOW!

Queen Bee: VENOM!

Queen Bee paralyzes Exposer with her venom and tosses the Miraculous to LadyNoir.

LadyNoir: CATACLYSM!

She destroys the watch and gives FireFox a signal.

FireFox: (Whispers) Mirage!

The illusion shows Mr. Bug flying in and catching the Akuma.

Mr. Bug: Sorry about the mix up M'Lady! I can assure you that something like this will never happen again!

LadyNoir: It's alright. Just make sure you keep that promise! C'mon everyone let's go.

All the heroes leave and FireFox releases the illusion.

FireFox: (Whispers) Reality!

Everything goes back to normal but this time the real Ladybug comes and catches the hiding Akuma.

Ladybug: Lucky Charm! Miraculous Ladybug!

She catches a small baseball and throws it up again to fix everything.

Ladybug: Well let's go everyone. We've got important business to attend to.

Alya shuts off her recording and rushes to catch Ladybug before she Yo-yos off.

Alya: Wait Ladybug!

She doesn't want to answer her, but also doesn't wanna blow her cover, so she turns to face Alya.

Ladybug: Yes, Alya?

Alya: I see you have a new Fox theme hero...

Ladybug: Is that a problem?

Alya: N-no...I was just wondering when Rena Rouge was going to be coming back?

Ladybug: She isn't.

Alya: W-what!? B-but why!?

Ladybug: I'll tell you why. I've been doing some undercover field work to see who is worthy of the miraculous, and you are not. You haven't shown the qualities needed to be possessed for you to be a hero. Adrien Agreste!

Adrien hastily makes his way to stand infront of Ladybug.

Adrien: Y-yes, Ladybug?

Ladybug: From what I've seen you have gone from superhero to no potential. From this day forward you are no longer Chat Noir. I'm putting the black cat on hold until I can find a worthy holder who will actually fulfill his duties as a hero! Bug out!

He looks at his hand and notices that his ring is gone. While all the commotion is happening Lila sneaks away to her house.

Everyone de-transforms in the alley next to Lila's house. They make sure no one's around before they come out and knock on her front door.

Mrs. Rossi: Oh Mari, Chlo! You've brought more friends, I see!

Chloe: Yeah! I take it you know about the plan?

Mrs. Rossi: Yes, I do. Just be careful girls.

Marinette: We will!

Mrs. Rossi: Lila's up in her room if you wanted to see her.

Everyone goes into the Rossi household and Marinette leads them up to Lila's room.

Marinette: Hey, Lala!

Lila: Hey, Nettie! Hey Chlo!

She stops smiling when she notices that Alix isn't with them.

Lila: Where's Alix?

Max: We...don't know...

Kim: She ran off after she was de-akumatized, and we couldn't find her.

Chloe: Have you tried calling or texting her?

Max and Kim avoid the questionable looks they get from the rest of the group.

Nathaniel: Expected better from you, Max, if I'm being honest.

Max: Hey!

Ivan: Don't be mad, because he was right.

Max: I- ok.

Lila: Hold on everyone! Before you do whatever it is you're going to do, I've gotta know- sexualities and pronouns? I'm Bi-curious, she/her.

Marinette: I'm Bi, they/them.

Chloe: I'm Pan, she/they.

Ivan: I'm Straight but don't discriminate, he/him.

Juleka: I'm Bi, she/they.

Nino: I'm Bi, he/him.

Nathaniel: I'm gay, he/him.

Max: I'm Bi and Poly, he/him.

Kim: I'm Bi-curious and Poly, they/them. He/Him are ok too in case it gets too confusing.

Chloe starts secretly smirking and chuckling to herself.

Lila: Does that mean we've been misgendering you half the time Marr?

Marinette: Probably, but it's cool-

Kim: No it's not. If someone misgendered me I'd feel really bad.

Ivan: Please try and tell us if we misgender you again?

Marinette: Will do! Kim you're coming with me and I think you know why!

She drags Kim out of the room with her and Chloe stares at Max.

Chloe: You, us, therapy.

Max: Therapy?

Chloe: Therapy.

Nino: You like them don't you?

Max: Where did you get that idea!?

Juleka: We all see the way you look at the both of them.

Max: Well, I-

Lila: You blushed when Kim hugged you that time after you got him to tickets to that movie he wanted to see.

Max: I-

Ivan: And let's not forget, you spent all the money you saved up for a new videogame to buy Alix that new pair of rollerblades she wanted.

Max: I can't even defend myself at this point...yeah, I do...

Nino: Ok, dude, here's what you're gonna do...

While they help Max with his plan to confess, Marinette is trying to help Kim with his own problems.

Kim: I know I like them, but how do I know if they like me?

He takes a bite of his cookie, hands trembling.

Marinette: Trust me, Kim! All you've gotta do is put yourself out there!

Kim: Like you with Kacey?

They go red and starts rambling, trying to come up with an excuse.

Marinette: Well, that's different! We've only ever don't voice calls for 2 years after the last time I've seen him! A-and it's not like I'm hiding anything! I don't like him! He's a self-centered, conceited, egotistical, flashy playboy!

He looks at them with a raised eyebrow.

Kim: Are you finished? You seem to be very defensive about this topic.

Marinette: Just make a group chat and talk it out. I'm sure everything will be fine!

Kim: Yeah...yeah it will!

Marinette: That's the spirit Kim!

Kim: Now let's talk about you!

Marinette: Me? What about Chloe? Or Lila?

Kim: Well they aren't here right now are they?

Marinette: No...?

Kim: Exactly! Now let me see a picture of your suitor!

Marinette: Fine...

They shows Kim a picture of Kacey and he lets out a sigh of relief.

Kim: I thought he was gonna be ugly.

Marinette: But he's a PLAYER!

Kim: Listen Marinette, if you've thought me anything, it's that people deserve to be given a chance.

Marinette: If you knew him, you'd see why.

Kim: I've been taking some self-thinking classes online, and I think I can help!

Marinette: Oh, really?

Kim: Yeah! So, why do you think that do do or know that you don't like him?

Marinette: Well...

They think for a few minutes before deciding to giver their answers on why they do like him.

Marinette: He's funny, he's honest- brutally honest, he always says what's on his mind, he's a good friend, he makes life exciting. One time, we went to this abandoned ice cream shop when I went to visit him, and we got busted by the cops. Sure his mom had to come bail us out, but it was fun.

Kim: Hmmm, alright. Now tell me why you know you don't like him.

Marinette: His ego and pride. He thinks he's so cool, but really, he's just one of those softies that feed random kittens in the allies. That man has girls hanging off him left and right, and all of a sudden he thinks he's a God, and that- in his words, "I know I want him"!

Kim: Do you ever think that you saying you don't like him will knock him down a peg, so when you finally realize that you do like him, you won't have to subconsciously worry about rejection?

Marinette: I...I don't know...

Kim puts his hands on his hips and stares down at Marinette.

Kim: At least try and give him a chance. It's not very fair to him if you don't y'know. That's like you saying you don't like that Yin and Yang ice cream at André's.

Marinette: I haven't tried it.

Kim: Exactly! How do you know if Kacey's changed, if you don't give him a chance?

They think for a minute and decides that he is right.

Marinette: I...guess you're right. Alright, I guess giving him a chance won't be so bad...

Kim: Atta girl!

Marinette: Now, let's go get you a man and lady!

Kim: Keep it down! What if their listening up there?

Marinette: Whoops! Sorry Kim!

The rest of the group comes downstairs to say their goodbyes.

Nino: We've all gotta split, but we'll catch up later.

Juleka: Yeah, we might've had the rest of the day off, but we still have homework to do.

They all leave to go home leaving Lila and her mom to talk about their plans. Kim is the first one to get home, and flop down on his bed. He reaches for his phone and retracts his hand a few times, trying to decide if it's best to do it now or later.

He grabs his phone and decides to do it now before he losses his nerve to do it.

They all turn off their phones and fall back on their beds with big smiles on their faces, happy that they all know their feelings for eachother.

Nobody knows what's going to happen in the future with their crushes, but in the end all that matters to them is that they know how they feel about eachother.
