《Annyeong, Soojin! [Ateez Fanfiction] ✓》2

Wooyoung looks at Soojin in wonder. He can totally imagine Daisy saying something similar to an employee( he was guessing the other girl is that), not the exact words, maybe in the same intention, but a more suave way than in this dramatic, nagging kind of way. But then the Daisy he remembers also sometimes used the dramatic, nagging mother tone on his bratty peers. Wooyoung unknowingly smiles looking at the girl. In the next second, his eyes sweep across his peers to confirm he isn't the only fool who's kind of happy to see her having a prospect of being Daisy.
It lands on his Seonghwa hyung first, and just as he assumed earlier of the prospect of such reactions from the man happening, he sees the man harbouring a lowkey cold, angry-sad emotion beneath the shock.
Seonghwa's a calm type of person, one doesn't get the luck to see him actually angry often, like real anger, but even if he was to be angry, not a lot of people would be aware of that. Ateez members are family though, they can tell when each of them is angry or sad. Wooyoung also knows this: knowing Seonghwa, he's probably angry at himself rather than the one he's eying.
Mingi looks like he's lost his brain cells. The surprised Pikachu face, know what I mean. The boy does that a lot, Atinys would know. Yunho has a serious face. Jongho harbours the typical serious Jongho, one can't tell what the boy is thinking. You can say that Yunho's pulling a Jongho right now. San is awkwardly smiling. So is Hongjoong.
Yeosang, now the only one who has a normal, clear smile on his face as he bows and greets. "Hello," he says.
"Hello," Soojin slightly bends her neck as a bow and the other girl follows.
"You!" she says to Sooyoung. "Go bring the rest of the bowls."
"I'll show you your table," Soojin then says to the boys and begins walking to the long table, the one that can seat office party groups, and the guys follow her. It's as if they're customers here. San doesn't like how it's going right from now on. Maybe she isn't Daisy, after all, he thinks.
"Please sit," she says as she arranges the Sikhye bowls. Sooyoung who carried the rest, now arranges too. The table can seat exactly eight. "Sorry if you feel like I'm treating you like customers, that's not intended.... And Sikhye's on me. It doesn't often happen that my favourite idols come here to talk to me." Soojin smiles.
Jongho can only reiterate in his mind how fake Soojin's being. The smile and her words seem like an act. But she's very confident. Of what he knows of Daisy, it's very hard to tell if she's faking or not. But for someone who was her friend and neighbour, the often hangouts and attention to detail of that(past) Jongho's crush had made him confident in his deciphering skills of the girl, he thinks.
"So, what is it that you wanted to talk about?" she asks. There's not a single worry on her face, Yunho processes. Why isn't she even weirded out or questioning it is his thought.

Soojin looks at Sooyoung. "You can go now," she says.
"What! No!" the girl protests. "It's Ateez! Oh my God, can I get your autograph? Or a selfie!" she squeals.
Soojin gives her a cold gaze. "Clout-chaser much," she mouths to her sister. Yunho who notices doesn't shy away now to break his character and bring out his usual cheerful smile that Atinys so die for.
"Ohhh, so stupid of me," Sooyoung exaggeratedly says. "I didn't even introduce myself. I'm Ahn Sooyoung, her sister. So I have a right to stay here and listen to whatever you're gonna tell, gotta give her mental support. So—"
"Sooyoung, that's enough!" Soojin says angrily. It wouldn't be a lie to say the boys got just a little scared, the shock from the information that the girls are siblings added. She then faces the guys. "She's a bit tough to get rid of, the only way is to use violence, it's not a good sight to behold. So I hope you guys don't have a problem with her presence. Also, in my opinion, whatever you're to tell should be nothing she shouldn't listen to, so..." She shrugs.
"You guys are really sisters?" Wooyoung exclaims. "That's....Woah!"
"Oh, you're so surprised!" Sooyoung blushes. "It's because you didn't expect she could have a pretty sibling, right? But you aren't the first, happens often."
"You know, violence sounds nice right now," Soojin says and sighs. "Sorry to you all that you've to deal with stupid sibling drama, it doesn't help when one of 'em is both dumb and socially intellectual. Please, have your Sikhyes. Also, you can start speaking."
Sure, Sooyoung's being embarrassing, but it helped Soojin ease herself in the environment. She can now talk a bit more freely, it's like she's around AZ Fellaz. Kinda. And she's thankful to the Gods out there and partly Sooyoung to have helped her.
Soojin seats herself on the table across Ateez's and indicates Sooyoung to sit too.
"Don't mind me asking," Hongjoong says. "But are you close with your sister?"
Sooyoung gasps and grabs her chest dramatically. "Unnie.." she says in the manner of a kid.
Soojin chuckles and gives a pat to her sister's back. "Don't overreact, girl. They're asking because they want to be sure you're trustworthy. What they have to talk about could be involving me, maybe a secretive subject I wouldn't want anyone else to know."
It's one of Daisy's traits too, Hongjoong processes, being quick to catch up and the intelligence and being absolutely confident in it. The way Soojin doesn't even confirm her statement with them, the way she talks, the intonation, the words, even though not the pitch of the voice, everything matches Daisy's.
Hongjoong only processes and keeps it in his mind, but Wooyoung can't...
"Choi Daisy..." he says.
Soojin's head snaps so fast towards him, her sister's kind of worried. Soojin looks at them wide-eyed, the shock now changing to scrutiny as she looks at each of them narrow-eyed. They can tell that there is an abundance of emotions flowing through her, but they still can't figure out what's dominant. They, on the other end of the scrutiny, are held all shocked and purely scared.

"Funny that rings a bell," Sooyoung quietly says. "Oh! OH...THAT'S YOUR—"
Soojin slams her hand on the table and Sooyoung keeps shut.
Getting back to her composed self, she says, "Choi Daisy, you said, who is that?"
"Ahn Soojin-ssi, how do you know Choi Daisy?" Seonghwa asks, confident and intimidating as he now looks directly into her eyes, unlike the previous minutes of him completely ignoring her.
"Wooyoung, you screwed up," Yeosang says annoyedly.
"What do you mean? It's Wooyoung-ssi who mentioned the name, and I asked the question myself," Soojin answers Seonghwa.
"But your question kinda sounded like you already know who the person in question is, it was like you wanted to know how we knew that name," Mingi coolly says. "Besides, your sister seems to know her."
Hongjoong nods. They all expectantly look at Soojin.
She might look calm, but the one that grew up with her knew how Soojin's actually feeling now, being held at the pedestal. So Sooyoung rubs her sister's back comfortingly.
"I know you don't think I'm smart," Sooyoung mutters. "But I think they know. As crazy as it sounds, I think they're in the same situation. There's no other way they'll come to meet your boring ass here if not that." She chuckles. Although intended for just Soojin, the boys hear the statements too; it's as silent as the dead in here, what do you expect.
I wish they end this drama soon and confess they both know the mutual situation. Like I said, I like drama, but I'm too impatient. Just hurry up already!
"I kinda know Choi Daisy," Soojin says, looking at her lap. "I'm not sure if I should explain how. How do you know her?"
Soojin considered Sooyoung's words, but there's still a chance that Choi Daisy actually exists in the real world too and maybe that's how they know her. Although that theory has many loopholes. But what to say, emotions cloud your intelligence sometimes.
"And it's you!" Yunho states. He intentionally says it such that it's not a question. He and the rest could tell she was holding back, and to blatantly accuse was the smartest way than an enquiry.
Soojin snaps her head up again. "How—"
"And we were neighbours, AZ Fellaz and Daisy were friends and neighbours," he says again.
"YES!" Sooyoung jumps and answers. "And she was a memory loss patient. It could've happened to stop her from knowing she's not even Daisy but Ahn Soojin?... But one day she remembers it all and BOOM.... she woke up from her dream and now it's all boring and sad old life again!"
"Oh my God!" San yells, jumping up in shock yet an anticipated victory. Wooyoung screeches and does the same. Mingi jumps in fear.
The boys all show the extreme-est of reactions, jumping, pacing, screeching, surprised Pikachu face, whatnots (sparing the still sober Seonghwa). Soojin is standing up too, grabbing her hair.
"She had the dream like us too! She had it!" Mingi yells. The only reaction on his face is fear.
"This is no more just a dream! It's black magic, confirmed!" he says shivering, bringing a shiver to Soojin as well, while Sooyoung gasps.
"It was never just a dream, to begin with," Jongho says. "There's no other way of explaining the eight of us having the same dream! Not to mention, now it's nine."
"No!" Soojin finally says. "Inaccurate! It wasn't 'just a dream', it was never a dream. It was real. I-I tried to force it down on me, telling it was just a realistic dream.... but no, I lived every second of it. There were 24 hours in a day, 24 long, tiring, realistic hours. IT WAS REAL! IT COULDN'T HAVE BEEN A DREAM. AT ALL."
Soojin slams her head on the nearby wall. "I'm glad I could finally admit that," she says, her voice breaking. Sooyoung rushes to tackle her in a comforting hug. The rest of the boys look at them, they feel the agony too, it's too relatable. Yeosang rubs San's back, sensing how he could break down any moment now.
"It wasn't just a side-effect from the coma," she mutters onto Sooyoung's shoulders. "Wait! COMA!" She pulls back and looks into her sister's eyes. "They had that too? You didn't tell me when I woke up!... I didn't even find any news on that?! What! HOW!"
"Coma?" Seonghwa asks.
"Yeah, unnie, I don't think they had that, they were perfectly active and out in the public during that time," Sooyoung says.
"What?"
"What are you two talking about?" Mingi asks.
"She went into a comatose. Woke up after two weeks, and turns out she'd dreamt of living as Daisy for many months while in her unconscious state. Now we know it wasn't just a dream," Sooyoung says.
"You were in a coma!" Yeosang says, baffled.
"What even!" Wooyoung mutters. "That's..." San empathetically mutters quietly, unable to continue speaking.
"You said you dreamt those days too?" Soojin says. If confusion was a human, the Soojin now would be it.
"Guys," Hongjoong says, trying to calm everyone. "It's too much to take for all of us, let's just sit down and calmly talk about it all. Everything from the beginning, each of us." He points to his group and Soojin. "so that nothing is left out. We need the whole spectrum."
Finally.
I mean I know what's up, and there are never gonna know what I know anyway, but this is fun to watch.
So they finally settle down and finish their drinks— Sooyoung gets sodas for herself and her unnie, some drink for them as well— and prepare to talk.
I'm curious how it'll progress.
Human behaviour and human emotions are always a game so fun to watch. Really.
It's so boring and tiring to even proof-read and edit it. I feel like I'll pass out. The next chap is gonna be even more unbearable, it's the longest chap in the whole series so far....ughhh...mahn, editing is def the hardest part, it's even more crappy than writer's block
bye...if u hv energy, go read the 3rd chap maybe...
