*Y/N POV*
"Day to night, dark to light fall the sands of time, let the years, like the gears of a clock unwind!" BEN kept singing the song of healing, over and over again.
It was driving you, and everyone else, absolutely bonkers.
"Oh my god BEN, shut the hell up!" Masky snapped.
"Why?" BEN sparked.
"Cause it's annoying as fuck" Jeff said.
"(Huge fucking inhale) IN YOUR MIND WALK THROUGH TIME, BACK TO BETTER DAYS! MEMORIES LIKE A DREAM WASH THE TEARS AWAY! LIKE A STAR IN THE SKY DARKNESS CAN'T REACH YOU LIGHT THE NIGHT! JOY IS LIGHT 'TILL THE NEW DAWN! CAST AWAY YOUR OLD FACE, FULL OF GLOOM AND SPITE! WITH THIS MASK! I WILL ASK! TO BORROW! YOUR LIGHT!" He yelled.
"aaaAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Toby started screaming.
"Oh holy fucking balls! EVERYONE SHUT UP!" You yelled and threw some salt at BEN. He jumped as far as the circle would let him and succeeded in avoiding the salt.
"817€#!" He yelled.
"Be quiet or I'll throw more at you" You shook the can, indicating that you had lots left.
You heard something crack.
"Five minutes, that's all I ask, just five fucking minutes without someone trying to kill me..." You thought as you grabbed your gun and tiptoed around the house. You peaked around a corner and saw a bird pecking at a large piece of glass.
"stupid birb..." You waved your hands at it and it flew away through the broken window.
"Hmm mabye I should try and fix that...nah" You were about to go get a broom to brush some of the glass away when you heard a shrill whine in your ears. You tried to ignore it, thinking that mabye it was some sort of bug, but the whine grew to painful frequencies. You tried shaking your head but that only made it worse. You dropped the gun and raised your hands to cover your ears and gasped went you felt blood seep through your fingers. You crumpled to the floor, the whine being the on thing you could hear, you didn't notice as a hooded figure walked over to you.

*Faith POV*
'I was expecting more of a fight..." You thought as you looked down at the girl.
"Pathetic" You raised your scythe, ready to put her out of her misery when someone spoke to you.
"Bring her here, alive" It said. You sighed and looked down at her again, it appears that she had passed out. Grunting, you picked up her limp body and put her over your shoulder.
"I am soooo not carrying her all the way back" You walked over to where the others were trapped in various places.
"Seriously!? All of you were captured by a W/A year old girl?!" You said to everyone in the room.
"She's Y/A actually" Jack said.
"Like I give a damn about how old she is, the boss is gonna be so disappoint-AH!" The girl elbowed the back of your neck, whether it was accidental or not you didn't know, what you did know was that the floor was getting closer to your face and in a few seconds you felt tremendous pain in your nose and your vision went black.
You woke up in a bathtub.
"A bathroom? She put me in a bathroom?" You thought as you crawled out of the tub and tried opening the door.
"She me in a bathroom..." You looked around and saw a window but it wasn't large enough to escape from.
You felt for your knife, in its usual spot in a loop on your pants, but grasped air.
"Hey! You awake!?" A girl asked from the other side of the door, unfortunately you couldn't see her so you couldn't respond.
"Hellooooo?!" She knocked on the door.
You slammed your fist against it.
"Oh good, what's your name?" She asked.
"..e...ca....sp..k" You pressed your ear to the door.
"What'd he say?"
"Oh, well now I feel stupid..." You heard the thumping of her feet as she walked away, and again when she walked back. A slip of paper and and a pencil were slid under the door.
"What's your name?" She asked, you wrote on the paper and slid it under the door.
"...real mature" You heard her walk away as you laughed to yourself.

The Oresteia (Modernized)
All three of the great Greek Tragedians have written plays about the bloody chain of murder and revenge within the royal family of Argos. Yet theirs is in fact not a story of tragedy, but rather one of redemption. As they move from darkness to light, from rage to self-governance, from primitive ritual to civilized institution, their spirit of struggle and regeneration becomes an everlasting song of celebration to be heard throughout the ages. Forming a discourse set against the emergence of Athenian democracy out of a period of chaos and destruction, the Orestian plays are compelling stories of the tensions between our obligations to our families and the laws that bind us together as a society. In the beginning, we witness how a king’s decision to sacrifice his daughter and turn the tide of war inflicts lasting damage on his family, culminating in a terrible act of retribution. In the aftermath of regicide, we behold how a son must set out to avenge his father’s death by committing a most egregious sin. In the end, the sinner is tormented by supernatural powers that can never be appeased, but ultimately finds redemption and ends the curse on his house once and for all. Woven through all of this is the story of a friendship so close that it elevates itself to brotherhood - Where the blood of the covenant is shown to be indeed thicker than the water of the womb. In this very brief twelve-chapter modern rendition of the Orestian plays, I have chosen to place my focus mainly on the lives of the characters Orestes and his best friend Pylades. The chapters, each around 2000-2500 words, are split up evenly between them in first-person narrative. I hope that you will come to enjoy reading this heartwarming story, but more importantly, that you see how the conflicts portrayed in the story, whether human or institutional, are still much very relevant to our societies today. Note on Sources: The details of this story is very loosely based on The Oresteia by Aeschylus. And I mean very loosely. Other sources that I referenced for detail and inspiration are Mythology by Edith Hamilton, Electra by Sophocles, and Iphigenia in Tauris by Euripides. You may also find that I have quoted some of these works, and others (such as Shelley's Ozymondaeus), without citations (average of 1-2 such quotes per chapter). I did this because I do not have the ability to describe certain scenes nearly as well as some of those writers. If you read a particularly beautiful piece of prose here, chances are it's probably stolen lol. Also, I wrote this during the summer between my high school senior year and my college freshmen year. It was the summer of 2020, and being quarantined apparently gets my creative side out lol.
