《AN UNEXPECTED ENCOUNTER》CHAPTER 53

His hands trembled, his body felt numb, the eyes were losing focus, so did his legs. Blake was set in an iron chair with his hands and legs locked in.

"You guys thought you can deceive me? This easily?" the rogue laughs out loud, throwing his head back and shaking his head with pride. "So dumb"

His eyelids shake before his pupil expand to cover the whole scene before him. His heart skips a beat when the first thing he sees is blood on the verge of his toes, he follows the flow with his heart beating against his chest very hard.

The shattering sound of his soul was heard loud and clear when he spots his twin laid on the ground moment less while blood seeping from around his body, as the warlock stayed eyes closed.

"" The scream breaks down the courage of any person standing before in the room and the growl that followed after was painful and hard, it shook the walls of the delusional house.

It was the growl of an angered and raged alpha wolf.

It was the first time ever Blake has called his twin by his entire name.

Or was it the last time?

----------------------

"Who was right here, who was not?

Who was the bad one, who was top-notch?...."

"Now that's bad manners, Blake" the warlock snatches away the book from his twin's hand.

"You do poetry?" the alpha perks up and gets on his knees, all excited.

"Blake..." Samael warns.

"Ugh! Fine" he eyes the diary as the warlock puts it away on one of the shelves.

"He will be here in seconds... You know what to do, right?" The younger alpha nods in answer, Samael flick his fingers and the door of the room throws open.

"I see you are awake, my son" Christian walks through.

"Fucking let me go!" Blake struggles against the chains that are tied him down to the bed frame.

"I am impressed that you still have the strength to fight. Even after Samael's powerful spells" he eyed the warlock who had his face cover in the black gown kind. Blake gulped and cursed himself that he spoke without thinking he should have stammered a little.

"Don't underestimate an alpha" his eyes glow and that triggers the rogue a bit.

"Right! My bad, Mr. Alpha Or....." he turns to his so-called "son".

"Samael?"

"Yes, father?" the warlock answered with confidence. If he is going to act, he would do it properly.

"Are you guys playing me?" he asks away.

The questions halt everything for a second. The twins' breath, their heartbeats, the blood pumping through their veins...everything. The rogue tilted his head waiting for an answer and then a peal of high-pitched laughter gets heard in the room.

"I was joking, Samael" he pats the boy on the back. The warlock still is in a state of numbness as he just nods to his father's joke. "Or was I?" his voice turns serious in a go.

"You are a psychopath" Blake slurs at the rogue. The older man just smirks towards his nephew and takes a step to his bed.

"Oh hon, that I am" he sleeks his finger upon the boy's long neck. "And this here looks really delicious to this psychopath" his nail cuts through the skin of the alpha, drawing out fresh blood.

Blake grits his teeth but doesn't make a sound. "Tough one, I see" Christian backs away. He walks towards his son again and claps him on the shoulder. "Get him out, son"

"Yes, father" as soon as Christian steps out, Samael gets a hold of his brother. "I will be a little rough now, sorry" he whispers.

"You have to" Blake smiles in understanding. "I understand"

Samael gulps down, bites his chapped lips, and flicks out Blake's locks, and handcuffs him. He allows him to walk in the front, getting roughly a hold of his elbow.

"Fucking let me go!!!!" the younger alpha repeats in his twin's hold.

Samael, like he always did, stays quiet. He either answered his father's questions or read spells for him and nothing more was ever heard in these four walls. But, now talking to his wolf was also has been added.

"You guys know what to do, right?" Samael asks Kai and Griffen at once. He indeed could talk to another person's wolf if he concentrated and now he needed that concentration.

We do...

The wolves answer as the warlock drags the alpha out. The twins walk into the room where the former ruling couple was caged with an iron chair in between.

The warlock senses a different setup in the room. He roams in eyes from beneath the cover and finds it very confusing. This didn't seem like the setup his father usually did.

There was no setup of the process Christian always did. There wasn't a spiritual circle drawn where the person from who he had taken blood from will turn into his slave, like any other in the building.

There weren't his slaves nearby that will drag the person down to the basement after the process. Ut was completely a 360.

There was an iron cold chair with open cuffs on the armrests and foot placement. There were weapons on the right side of the chair. This was very different from the usual.

"This-" he tries to warn Blake through the link but a high-pitch noise spread through the mind link making the warlock fall to the ground holding his head. The movement stuns the alpha as he bends down to help his brother up but gets pinned in the chair as the handcuffs he was wearing break down.

His hands and legs get locked into the chair leaving him at the mercy of the rogue. "I knew you guys were playing with me" Christian chuckles standing up from his place. "Your game is too weak though" the rogue gestures to the man in similar black attire.

The man nods and walks to the warlock who was losing his brian because of the feedback squeal in his head. It felt painful to the point where his earns could start bleeding. He gets a hold of the warlock by his elbow and deals him with a single hand. The hood of the warlock slips down revealing his painful expression where he didn't understand a bit what was happening.

"What are you doing to him, Christian? Stop it!!" the alpha struggles against the locks at his hands. He warns the rogue again and again but the man was enjoying the show very much.

"I SAID STOP!!"

"YOU STOP IT, BLAKE JENSEN!" the rogue retorts with a loud voice for the first time and his eyes glowing red with anger. "THIS ISN'T YOUR PACK!" he yells over the top shocking everyone in the room.

Christian was literally a lip-sealed man. He never did talk to someone often in his younger days and even after he left the pack, his brain only did work louder than his mouth.

His laughs were the loudest sound he ever produced. He would slaughter anyone with a creepy smile on his face but he never yelled at them.

"This. Is. My. Place. and he is my son" he points at the man who was struggling to keep his legs straight with his head making him lose control of his body. "Do not tell me how to behave with my s-"

"Son?" the younger alpha throws his head back and laughs his heart out, astonished at the word. "You call him "your" son? Then you might call yourself a "father" then, hm?" he laughs again.

"Have shame, Christian!" he spits. "You are anything but a human let alone a father," the younger alpha says. "Father don't torture their kid this way, no matter what" he gestures towards the twin. "If you ever thought of him as your son, stop it. Right. Now."

The message was loud and clear. Blake wanted to play the cards in his uncle's style. He at least now knew what Christian was feeling. Though he wasn't a great parent, he felt betrayed when Samael left his side.

He did feel the responsibility of a father whose son has lost his way back home. The son who left his side.

"Fine!" Christian lifts his hands in surrender and the squeal inside the warlock's head stops as the man falls to the ground with a thud groaning from the after-effects. "What don't you compensate me on his behalf, hm?" he asks with a predatory grin.

One thing in the rogue mind was clear that he wasn't letting go of this chance wherein his son has brought his brother to present him. He knew even though this was a part of their big plan, he could easily turn the tables.

"F-f-father...." Samael struggles to get on his feet but does get there yet. "P-please, l-leave him"

"OH WOW!" the rogue claps his hands together, with a very wicked smile. "I never once thought I would see this family drama, that too of you twins. Like wow!

You raised your son very well, Christopher. Loving and kind" he says to the alpha who was watching everything with a ticking jaw and helpless eyes.

"But... I made a huge mistake raising this piece of trash" he whacks the warlock across the face. The sound of his hand hitting the boy's cheek echoing through the room.

Samael's face gets jerks to the side with fingerprints appearing on his skin. A burning feeling across his reddened cheek, as he trembles with just the smack. "I did not teach you this, Samael. All we ever taught ourselves was that the people on that side of the woods do not belong to us. They are our enemies, they are what?" he expects his son to complete his sentence, giving him a last chance to correct his mistake.

Samael looks into the eyes of his father and delivers the next words. "T-they are not our e-enemies, father," the warlock says with emotion flowing his words.

The answer stuns the old man, as he just stares at the black-eyed wizard and his lungs giving out a weird sound.

"Ha...ha...HAHAHA," his lung breaks out into the ultimate sound of laughter, with his whole body shaking.

His son was indeed deceiving him is what the rogue thought. "Fine! I don't need you either" he rejects the boy with a bitter look.

"Father, please" the rogue holds down the warlock by his feet and whacks him with the whip he just had drawn out the air. The whip had iron moles attached to it, drawing blood out of the warlock with each attack.

The twin held his place on the ground, his hands forming fists to take anything that was coming his way.

"CHRISTIAN!!" the former couple yell in a unison.

"Christian!!! Ah, fuck!" Blake cures out his uncle's name while he felt pain. "STOP IT!" his blood boiled looking at his brother. Kai was scratching at the back to break free but any movement in this chair gave them chills.

It was like an electric shock passed through them when they tried to move, making their body weak.

"What? You want to take it instead?" The rogue asks sarcastically.

The younger alpha opens up his mouth to prompt a "yes" but the warlock steps in again. "No!"

"Sam! Stop it. He needs my blood anyway!" the twin argues.

"D-does it matters? I am also a child of the same parents. You might as well get some powers if you have me, father" he argues back.

"That's not completely wrong," the rogue thinks through.

"OF COURSE IT IS! He isn't a pureblood like me, Christian" the younger alpha did not want to start an argument here but if this convinced his "dumb-wit stupid-ass" uncle does not harm Sam, he could totally be a drama queen.

"OH WOW. I didn't think not having your mom as my mate will bring me to the day where her "sons" fight over me" the uncle comments with a sarcastic smile which almost makes the younger alpha throw up.

"However... I will take it the way I want" he prompts while his torture of the boy's body continues.

"Christian, I am warning you. Stop all this" the former luna grits her teeth.

A loud snarl is been heard as the chair shake behind the ears of the rogue. The fingers grow long nails, as they scratch around the edges of the armrests. A loud growl shakes the entire room.

The old man's lips stretch with an evil grin and he scoffs.

He is here...

He thinks to himself upon the arrival of the alpha wolf, Kai. Kai snarls with his fangs extending. Blake's body outgrows the bodily hair and also the muscle of the wolf. His eyes turn blue as he glares his way at the rogue.

The former couple shiver to watch something like this in their entire life. The barrier around Blake's body didn't help him to transform into Kai but Kai needed the reassurance to outbreak from the body resulting in the human form of a wolf.

He puts the whip down, releases the warlock from his place, and turns to the alpha wolf.

Samael's eyes roll to the back and he passes out on the ground with blood flowing through his fresh cuts.

"Welcome, alpha" the rogue smiles at the wolf who is still tied down on the chair.

---------------------

"Spread through the woods and surround the house" the older alpha orders which the pack discreetly obeys. They disperse in groups with Duncan and Zander leading them.

Easton stands, with his heart beating very hard against his chest. "Something is very wrong, Tib," he says to the half-vampire. Tiberius worriedly looks at his friends and then nods in understanding.

If his mate bond was depicting that something was wrong, it must be the case. The shield across the pack was still intact which meant that the rogue had not yet known about their existence.

The soil in the place was wet which meant that it just poured in the lands and the black clouds over their head meant that it would pour any time soon.

"First things first, Easton. How do you think you will deal with Christian?" Cassius was the one to question the alpha. Easton getting on speaking terms with the vampire was indeed very improving.

"There should be a way..." the older alpha mumbles.

"So you don't even know how would you take him down?" Tib gets stunned by the answer. The older alpha hides from the disappointed gaze of his friend. He literally could see his mate and the danger he would be in while he prepared all this.

"We have this whole force ready..." Bellamy jumps in.

"Doesn't matter! We all know what he had consumed to be in that position. It isn't easy to finish him with your weapons. He can overpower anyone" the half-vampire hurriedly explains.

"There must be a way, Tib!" the older alpha protests back.

Tib runs the gears of his brain to think of a way for Christian's assassination. "The book!" he jumps on his toes remembering the book.

"What book?" Cassius interrupts.

"Easton, you remember the time you first came to my place and we found this really thick book on the shelf?" the warlock explains.

"The one you always had a hold on when you stayed at my place"

"He stayed with you?" the vampire enquires.

*ignore*

"Right, the Latin book!" the older alpha retorts.

"Exactly" the warlock takes out the book from the thin air and hands it over to the alpha. Easton turns the pages to find an appropriate reference wherein they can end Christian.

"It will take you forever" Bellamy snatches the book from the alpha and scans it through to find a page. A smile appears on his face when he finds the case. "There you go" he hands back the book.

"Thank you" the older alpha politely appreciates with a nod.

"Awww... I hope you were single" the warlock mumbles to himself before walking away to one of the troops.

"It is said that they cannot be deceived if they are successful in consuming the blood of every supernatural species" Easton reads.

"It is also there that they will turn into something very familiar with the Satan" Tib reads further.

"Vis restituendi vita est..."

The words were in Latin and the half-warlock read it out loud.

"This means... Restoring energy is life?" the vampire translated.

"Seriously now? Riddles?" the half-warlock stomps his foot.

"Shh...." the older alpha gestures to be quiet and he concentrates. "Restoring energy is life" he repeats. "Something that you need to go back every single time to get back your energy?" he solves.

"And that thing or person is the "life" for such people?" Tib questions as he too phrases the remaining meaning.

"

A thing he needs to restore his energy....." the alpha mumbles again.

----------------------

Kai growls out loud shaking the chair and yet again been hit back with an electric shock flowing through his body. His body jerks and weakens with every movement but all he could think there was Christian's death.

"This is what I exactly wanted..." the rogue watches the show. The wolf snarls at the prey which kept getting weaker with every passing moment.

Christian needed the alpha wolf to break out first. A wolf stands first in any situation to protect the human on the inside and this situation was no different.

He knew if he had not weakened the wolf getting to the throat of Blake was not really possible. Upon that, he was glad that he really didn't need to do anything.

A rage of an alpha wolf made his task easy.

---------------------

The attempts to attack weakened the alpha wolf as his eyes lose focus and pass out on the chair.

"BLAKE!!!" Christopher shouts seeing no moment in his son's body. The voice gets heard on the outside parking up the wolves.

The older alpha leaps toward the house with a loud growl and flaming nose. "Easton, no. I know this is hard but we can't risk it" Tib assures the alpha. The older alpha could still feel his mate's breath which convinced him to wait.

"We need to find this thing as soon as possible and get rid of that parasite" the older alpha snarls with his eyes glowing orange. It was being too hard to control his wolf that can break through any time now.

"We will....."
