《AN UNEXPECTED ENCOUNTER》CHAPTER 52

Aziel was all in power, and on his fours. The pack was also in their wolf forms walking ahead of their alpha as they sprinted to keep the track of their fast beta, who was leading the pack with Derek to his side. The pack was split into groups of 200s, in total counting to 1500 heads while the rest 1500 stayed back in the pack lands. Aziel knew that he needed to keep calm and lead the pack in the right way but the moment his fronts hit Christian's land, his bond with Kai snapped back, and there, he was hit with so much pain that he almost lost control of his mind.
He knew exactly then, that something was not so right with his other half.
"Speed up, guys!" he yelled through the pack link and the pack replied with howls through the woods.
Tib who was traveling in the air, seated on his chair was annoyed as fuck. "If only I hadn't had put sensor protection around them for voice and movement control, they would have been dead thanks to their lovely barking" he mumbled with Bellamy snickering to his left. He was just floating in the air, unlike the other warlocks who stayed in the pack lands just to teleport on the location when required.
"Why is he here though?" Bellamy asked with squinted eyes, and glaring towards the vampire who was just passing from one tree to another at the speed of light.
"He had some clan matters to deal with" the half-warlock absentmindedly looks at the pale being. He was very aware deep down that this was probably the last time working with him and he will not ever see the man again.
"Not because you called him?" Bellamy was a great friend. All he wanted to do is make sure his friend don't get hurt again by the same man he suffered so long for. It was not that he knew Cassius personally, all he knew was it wasn't taking a chance with Tib's eternal life.
".........no"
"That took time" he raises a brow suspecting something.
"Fuck off, Belly" he glared at his friend and shoved him off reverting his eyes to the vampire who was also looking back at him now. He averted his gaze immediately, now gazing towards Aziel who was speeding towards the very last of the pack.
Aziel could feel his heartbeat out of his chest, he wasn't sure what was the reason for it. Was it because they have been marching towards their target for an hour now or was it because he could feel their mate bond weakening with every step they took.
He made up his mind that he would split Christian into million pieces and then feed him the same somehow if their mate even had a scratch on him.
"Why the fuck is Easton here?!?" the younger alpha questioned, sitting right up from his sleeping posture. He was alone in a dark room, where he was "put", so he could gain consciousness but then his mind did a thing and he was connected back with Easton which only meant one thing that he was here in Christian's land. "What the fuck?" there was a sharp pain in his head upon the reconnection which blurred his eyes.
The door opened which made him jerk back and fall on his back, eyes shut closed and brow set calm again despite the pain running inside.
"Relax, it's me" the alpha opened his eyes upon hearing his twin's voice. He sat back up and lurched towards the warlock.

"Why is he here?"
"Who?"
"Easton!! Why is here?" and all of a sudden, ground felt like the most beautiful thing Samael had ever seen. He couldn't take his eyes off it. "Sam!!"
"He said he wanted to come, not my hand" the younger alpha raised his brow at the warlock judging him from head to toe. The warlock raised his hand to surrender like he had nothing to do with Easton's arrival.
"That man is so dead" Blake mumbled with a ticking jaw. "Why you here?"
"Oh, it's time for us to take our plan to the next level" the warlock informs. "We need to inform him that you are up," he says with fear in his eyes.
"Hmm... are you okay though?" the young alpha asks recalling how the rogue had treated his brother.
"I am good. Used to it" Samael holds a smile on his lips while his black eyes held a yearning to be happy.
Blake nods in understanding but Kai wouldn't stop shouting that Christian will pay for every harm he did to his family.
-----------------------
"Don't involve our children in this, Christian. They did nothing wrong" Cora urges leaning on the wall of the prison while the rogue was seated on his chair going back and with a book in his hand. He shut his book when the witch spoke, he then put the book on the side table and leaned forward with his elbows settled on the knees.
"For the first time ever in your whole life you said the right thing" he smirks. "Indeed your children did nothing wrong. It was you both that did it" he gave a glance to his brother who was only glaring at him.
"I-" the witch tries to talk but was interrupted by the rogue's loud laugh. The laugh brought a certain mood in the room putting everyone in their place.
"Remember the first time we met" he holds a smile on his lips looking at Cora. "Near the river valley, mid-afternoon?" he said and that did strike something in Cora while the former alpha was confused as about what he was talking about.
It was my most favorite place in the whole pack lands for Christian. Listening to the silent flow of the river, birds chirping, little and tiny animals gathering near to his feet enjoying the peaceful time along, also eating away from his sandwich which he forgot to consume, drowning himself in the pages of the thick book.
The air was thick with freshness, that flowed along with his wavy shoulder-length hair, making few strands fall over his beautiful forest green eyes behind his glasses. He takes them out of his view and gazing towards the tiny animals who already had gobbled up his lunch. He chuckles shaking his head and shifts his happy gaze towards the calm river. It was his best pass time to daze away in the stream of the water.
Being surrounded by the nature calmed him. It felt great listening to the animals, trees, and the water talk among each other. It was like they were talking to him, telling him that this is how heaven felt like.
During his lovely conversation with the river, a sudden movement disturbs him. He perks up on his toes, his eyes running around to spot any enemy that was hiding in and was now ready to harm. "Who is there?" he questions, adjusting his ready glasses. He put the book he was aside and also have seen the animals run into their houses in seconds.

Nature knows it better.
He thought. This was the sign that the one in there was not just any being, it was very harmful and dangerous. "I said who's there?" his voice was thick and lazed with confidence which was evident, being someone with alpha blood.
The movement in the water sharpens and becomes continues making the young boy standing on his feet, ready for any attack. A splash of water interrupts his view, followed by a figure standing tall at the shore of the river. Once Christian's eyes focus again, he watches a young lady with a very shabby white dress, torn at places. Her long hair was all wet, as she shivered with her eyes closed.
"Who are you?" the alpha boy questions suspiciously. The girl lifts her eyelashes showcasing her blues that were the prettiest Christian had ever seen in his seventeen years of life. Her skin was shining dusky under the sun of California, yet her face was so pale, that her eyes were the only ones that showed some color. The encounter left the alpha boy speechless, he was mesmerized to see something like that.
The girl parted her chapped lips to talk, but her body slumped to the ground as she fell unconscious. "Hey?" he rushes to the woman just to find her coldly pressed to the ground.
*sigh*
---------------------
"You found her in the forests?" the alpha of the pack, and father of Christopher and Christian enquired.
"Y-yes, f-father" the young boy answered.
"Hmm... Where is Christopher?" The alpha says while examining the young girl.
"B-brother, he is at the training-"
"Hmm... And you were not there, but hidden under a tree and book?" that sting the alpha boy. He flinched a bit but this wasn't the first time he was compared to his brother.
"I-I am s-sorry, father" he stuttered.
"Dad!" the door opened, which flowed Christopher's thick smell of sweat. "You called?"
"Chris! Sorry to bother you while you were training but we have someone to take care of" he gestures towards the girl.
"Who is she?" the alpha questions.
"Just someone who your brother caught"
"Oh," the older alpha looks at his squirming brother with a worried look. "I will look into it. Don't worry" he assures his father while patting his brother on the shoulder.
-------------------
That was the first time the trio met. When the girl woke up, it was known that her name was Cora and she was been sent away from her convent for certain reasons and she needed a place to stay
Days went by and the friendship between the brother and the stranger girl deepened. Cora already became a member of the pack with her easy-going nature.
"Christian, I wanna eat ice cream," the young lady says.
"Don't barge into my room like this, Cora. And it's very late we can't get ice cream now" the alpha covers his face with the blanket he was holding to sleep.
"Whatever. And no, it's not late it's just 30 mins past 9"
"Exactly. Late" he mumbles from his blanket.
"But Christian, please....." this girl had magic convincing anyone and everyone. And that did something to Christian's heart every single time.
"T-take brother with you"
"That dumbass is busy with some pack stuff. Please, Christian!" she kept pulling onto the boy's duvet.
"Oh, Goddess. Fine" the boy sits up just to find the girl grinning from ear-to-ear 3 inches away from his face. His face flushes with crimson spreading through his cheeks as he scrambles away in an instant.
"You are the best!" Cora hugs the man and dances her way out of the room.
"T-this girl will be the death of me," he says, his body warms from the touch. He licks his lips and follows Cora with his ears burning hot.
--------------------
"Chocolate ice cream is indeed love" the girl gobbles up the ice cream while all Christian did was stare at her face.
"You are eating away my sleep too. Fast" he says.
"Bleh. And isn't it you both twins' birthday....tomorrow?"
"Uh-huh"
"So that means you will find your mate tomorrow?" she gets on his toes, being all excited about the mate's thing.
Christian looked lovingly towards the lady and held a smile on his face. Tomorrow indeed was a big day. He was going to meet his wolf, be complete and also meet his mate, which his heart says would be someone really close to him.
Someone, who loves chocolate ice cream.
"Yeah...."
"How exciting!" she says biting her lips nervously.
----------------------
"Happy birthday!!!" the door of the twins' room burst open by the alpha and luna. It's was the eighteenth birthday of the boys and it was such a life-changing day.
Christopher was in his bed, rubbing the dirt off his eyes. "Huh? Where is Christian?" it was the Luna who asked the question.
"Probably in the washroom" the older twin mumbles.
"Hmm... Early as always" the woman says with a smile on her face. She loved both her sons equally. "Did you meet your wolf yet?"
"Yes," the older alpha smiles.
"Happy birthday!" Cora barges into the room with a cake in her hand. The cake gets slumped on the ground, spoiling away her hard work of three hours, she gets pushed against the wall as Christopher claimed her as his mate.
A silence floods the room, as the bathroom door creaks open. Christian watches his brother make out with his first love.
--------------------
"So you still haven't heard from your wolf?" the alpha questions his younger son.
"N-no, father" Christian had bags under his eyes, lean body, and disheveled state.
"There are one in every 5000 werewolves who do possess a wolf in them, alpha" an elder from the pack addresses the issue. "Christian might be the one"
"Oh! One more useless quality attached to your personality" the alpha says with his jaw ticking in anger.
"I am s-sorry, f-father"
"Of course you are! I never expected someone as useless as you to be my son" he snapped. Christian visibly shivered with his father's words. Christopher stood in the other corner of the room, with Cora to his side. He had his hands fisted.
He could never go against his father's will.
"I-I am sorry, f-father"
---------------
Christian sat in a corner of his room, which he earlier shared with his brother. Every word of his father sliced his heart like a burning knife.
His heart wrenched to be called as someone who also is "valued" in this house. It has been too tiring for him to match every step with his brother.
He did all he can with being athletic but could never beat Christopher in it. His marks were always compared to his older twin. Christopher's proactive part in the pack matters always sided the alpha towards him.
And Cora... the first-ever girl his heart longed for, was now his brother's mate.
He trembled, pulling his legs and scraping his whole body with his nails. "I-I don't want this" he drew blood out of his forearms, the skin stuck to his nails.
"I don't want this- I-I" all he could see was darkness ahead of him. A dark path that got darker with every passing second.
"I-I"
-------------------
"All I could see that day was a window where I rush out from and never look back" he chuckled recalling.
"Whatnot was heard about me after that... Like how I killed people in the pack and was thrown away, like how my alpha brother did not cope up with my behavior and turned me into a rogue" he throws his head back and laughs out loud.
"It was ridiculous, but the fact that none of you spoke about my state in that house or anything favoring me killed the innocent and loving Christian day-to-day, and here we are!" he completes.
"The pack soon forgot about my existence so did you guys, you started a family together" he smiles. "And there I also urged to be a part of it" Cora was bawling her eyes out, this was the first time in all these years that Christian had spoken his heart. It also made Christopher die out of guilt.
"I also wanted to be a part of the Jensen household. Then I made up a plan to bring in one of your precious alpha children just to play" he snickers.
"I promise! But, then I caught your hybrid child and not a pureblood one. Disappointment"
*sigh*
"Having said that, Samael has been most helpful one throughout everything" he says. Cora trembles recalling the moment when she lost her child. "At a very young age, that boy had shown up the power like no other. He helped me set up whatever you can see now including my lovely housemates" he says indicating towards the vampires, warlock, and many more supernatural spices that were locked in the cellar.
"After few years, one day, Cora walked in through that door and it was like a gift I never asked for. You guys created such a big misunderstanding on your own that just added up to my advantage" he shakes his head.
"I gained the Queen and I already had the minister, now all I wanted was the young master... Aha, not even that, just his blood is enough" the smile he was sporting throughout the story was now turned into a maniac one.
"The last drop of his blood and I will attain everything I lost that day, the pack, respect, recognition. Everything without being your shadow!" he gestures towards his twin.
"We are sorry, Christian!!" Core yells through her cell. "We were in the wrong, please spare our kids, I beg you" the woman cries.
"Please Christian" the former alpha also said the words making the rogue raise a brow.
"Oh wow, this feeling is kinda new, please continue," he says as he leans back on the chair hearing their pleas.
