《AN UNEXPECTED ENCOUNTER》CHAPTER 50

The twins were walking into the woods of Christian's lands for the past fifteen minutes now. The sequence of trees has not come to a halt from their pack lands. They were still very tall blocking the view of any usual airplane or a bird flying above.

"I know this is a stupid thing to ask but could you please erase all the embarrassing things I said or did before" Blake mumbles with his cheeks flushing with color.

"........." Samael looks at his brother through the shoulder and turns back without saying a word. His lips twitch to form a smirk but there he controls. "Embarrassing?"

"Yeah.... you know- how I- about father and before, when we first met-" the younger alpha explains in all bits and pieces. It was super awkward and embarrassing for Blake to admit how he behaved when he first met his twin. Samael didn't tell him that he was the No-Name, No-ID guy, but the way the warlock distanced himself from Blake when he met him again was explainable.

"I don't remember anything though" the warlock acts.

"Good!" the younger alpha jump on his toes. Well, this was his way.

"Except-" he teases.

"Except?!?" the happy dance of the little alpha stopped immediately.

"Except the fact how you made me a very bland white dish," the words stopped the man's nerves. "Bland white dish?!?"

"That is called pasta!" he huffed.

"Yeah same thing" Blake had his mouth open, and his eyes squinted.

"Same thing?!? Wow!" he felt offended by calling his ever-made dish bland. He needed more classes from Easton, he guessed.

"Joking," the warlock told in a monotone, with zero hints of anything being "funny".

"Asshole!!" the alpha kicked his twin on his calf. The hit didn't flinch the warlock as he was already expecting it. He chuckled a little bit and that sound was new to his ears too.

He kind of liked it.

".....do you remember anything else?" the younger alpha glared at his brother.

Samael shakes his head with a smirk on his face, which he was hiding from his twin.

"Good" the twins walk in silence listening to the sounds of Crickets and Katydids.

An emotion stirred inside Blake remembering the early days of meeting Easton. Like how he ran into the woods after feeling dejected. And like how they made up somewhere just like here, between the woods and into each other's arms. The mood going down.

"I-If you let me out from here and I-I will consider giving you a doctor position at our pack. Then you can use a-as many syringes as p-possible"

The words start playing out of nowhere.

"I-Imagine, an awesome career with a good salary. You, you will be so popular"

Blake's eyes pop out of his sockets hearing his voice playing in the middle of the woods like a piece of background music.

"A-and people will die to m-marry you"

"

he yells, his nerves beating popping in his head and face red with embarrassment.

Samael throws his head back and laughs his lunges out as he runs in a circular path with his twin chasing after him, for his blood.

"STOP RIGHT THERE, SAM JENSEN!!!"

The warning doesn't affect the warlock as he continues to run to save his life.

"SAM!!!!!"

----------------------

"Why can't we just teleport or whatever you call in your "warlock" accent?" Blake questions his twin as the magical man walks ahead with big steps and zero amount of sweat. The chase did give him heavy breathing but that didn't stay for long except for his sore back now.

He was enjoying the trees and soaking up in the cool breeze knowing completely well that this is where he belonged. Between these huge barks of trees and the fresh smell of soil. Everything calmed him.

"I want you to remember these paths, in case you have to walk back alone," he says lightning the dark pathways through his hand.

"What do mean alone?" Blake got confused.

"You will have to leave this place after we deal with Christian, and so remember these ways" he explains swiftly.

"Yeah... But, why did you say "alone"? Where you would be?"

"Because I am not certain if I can be back with you" the words out so casually but there was a hesitation. He didn't want Blake knowing this, but the stubbornness of the alpha was undeniable.

"That's ridiculous!" the alpha walks boomed the forest, making any animals out, sink in their hoods. "You aren't going anywhere, Sam. I just met you, my brother!"

"Yeah..." there was no emotion on the outer part of the warlock but he knew this would come to him. Blake was the first person ever that felt like "family" to Samael. Though he wasn't himself when he first got to know Blake, the younger alpha's affection moved him to a very extent.

And he now knew that Blake was the one he was supposed to protect no matter what.

"You are so heartless" the younger alpha steps forward and stops right before the warlock. He pushes the man by his chest with anger flaring his eyes. "You aren't going anywhere. I, father, Brianna and you are a family. And I have every right to enjoy this" he warns.

The words stunned the warlock, with his wall of emotions almost breaking. He had no idea that even Blake sees him like a family. He gulps down his overwhelming emotions and pushes the alpha away walking straight to the house.

----------------------

"You know he's gonna be mad," Duncan says as he watches the older alpha sharpen his weapons

"I know" he brutally replies.

"And we still are going there?"

"Hmm...."

"Easton!"

"What?" he drops the arrow he was holding. "What else do want me to do? He wanted to go there alone, I agreed. But, he never said not to plan a backup" the beta gave it a second, and what his alpha said was quite right.

"Okay... And you came up with a backup of 3000 pack soldiers?" he questions. The older alpha made sure to pull his strings and grab help from his old friends from nearby packs, which also included Jason's.

"Well, to be on the safer side" he did not want to take a single chance that will make him regret everything.

"Right... Easton, why do I feel like you both have swapped bodies? You acting just like Blake does. Dumb!" the best friend yells trying to push something inside his alpha brain, which definitely was clogged because of Blake's company.

The older alpha just rolls his eyes at the man and continues with his weapons. The beta huffs at the action and walks out of the war room.

"Any luck?" the half-vampire enquires as soon as the beta steps out.

"Not 1 percent" Duncan replies.

"Those stubborn little asses" Tib sighs pinching his temple. On one hand, Blake wanted to conquer the whole world single-handedly. And on the other, his mate wants to gift the conquered world with 3000 people army as a bonus.

"Let me talk-" the old vampire tries to enter the room.

"Nope!" Tib holds him by the chest. "I want no deaths, at least not before the war. You both closed in one room with that terrific limited temper of yours will definitely lead to one or more deaths. So nope" he reasons.

The vampire shrugs his shoulders pulling back his helping hand.

"What now?" Zander asks from the side.

"He won't listen. Let's just follow him with whatever we can" Duncan replies.

"He's right" Tib nods. "I will talk to Bellamy"

The group marches towards the hall from the front of the war room. Easton eyes focus as he hears the steps of his friends fading away. He puts the weapon he was holding down and grabs it on the edges of the teak table.

He sighs as his orbs close in anxiety.

We gonna make it through, he will be alright.

Aziel tries to reassure. The fact that Aziel was not there with his human when he bore the weight of self-killing guilt, the guilt that came from Duncan's parents' death was already scaring the wolf inside.

He knew he could never understand what the little boy went through for four years until he met his wolf.

But, what all came after his arrival was also one of the terrible things ever. The countless nightmares whenever they tried to close their eyes, even a slight mention of vampires made their skin crawl, looking at Duncan smiling in front of him was also not that easy either.

And now, all that they wanted was a happy and peaceful life with their mate. Because ever since Blake and Kai stepped into their lives, they had the best sleep in the past seven-eight years, the most genuine laughter, and felt the need of being worthy.

The guilt in their heart got hidden for the past few months. However, with Blake walking out of the pack lands, the breakage of their connection hit Easton with all those feelings again.

He will be fine.

"He will be fine..."

The assurance was needed. And this backup plan was their assurance. The only protection they would think of. To protect their mate, to protect their Blake.

"Duncan?"

"Yes, alpha"

"Gather the pack soldiers. We leave in an hour"

"Understood"

---------------------

A huge evil smile plays on the rogue's lips as he tracks his nephews striding towards the house. Or should he address that one of his nephews walking ahead with the other one tied up with ropes and being dragged on the ground?

His eyes are narrow in doubt as he spots that the one dragging was Samael and the been dragged on the muddy and stony ground was Blake Jensen, the young alpha of Crimson Borders.

"Now this isn't how I expected them to come" he hums, his brain turn wheels trying to figure out the scene he was witnessing. "Hey, oldies" he turns towards the strong grilled cells.

"Get ready to meet your sons" he addresses it towards Cora and the former alpha. "You will not be able to withstand the joy when they will walk through this door" Christopher had his jaw ticking in anger while Cora glared at the rouge.

Both of their cells shifted in Christian's room as soon as he felt the twins crossing his borders. The cells were made extra strong for any warlock or witch to break it.

"You will love it!" he says when the feel of them getting closer thickens.

----------------------

There were cuts around the body of the alpha, blood was seeping from the fresh wounds, Samael pulled the rope that was tied around the body of Blake.

"Fuck! Slowly, you idiot" the younger alpha curses silently.

"I told you to shut your mouth, Blake" Samael runs his eyes around to find anyone that could hear the man talking.

"The stones are poking my precious butt" he groans.

"And if you don't shut up this second, many more things will start poking out through you" the warlock states with a tight jaw.

The younger alpha clicks his tongue and just lets his twin drag his wounded body to the house.

"We are here. Remember, you are nearly dead and can barely talk. Do not react to whatever he says, he is a player. He can use anything to lure you in.

But, no matter what you gonna have to take care of that tongue of yours. Remember, " No Matter What", don't believe him"

The warlock warns as he pushes the door open of the huge house. He takes a deep breath before stepping into the house and pulling his twin in.

He shrugs his shoulders putting on his black rob like a dress with a hoodie that as always hid his face.

"I have brought him, father....."
