I woke up with a head ache , the sun beaming on me again , but Ace wasn't here. Shit what the hell happened now ?

" Bubba " I said while looking around the room , he wasn't here , I got up slowly for this craving for blood.

I realized I had on one of Aces dress shirts , and let's just say , their my night gowns now. I felt weak , but I was hungry so I didn't care , I knew where the kitchen was at.

I opened the door , and made my way down the hallway , I saw white wedding dresses out on display. Different types of flowers out , wait , oh ..right that's right I'm getting married.

" Lady Veronica are you alright ? " one of the maids asked me , " I'm alright I'm just hungry " I said while breathing in the scent of human blood.

" Oh " the maid said while turning around , and walking the other way , as much as I tried to not bite her , I had too.

I felt my fangs come out , but it wasn't on my command , I launched at her but captain Vampire had to stop me.

" No " Ace said while grabbing my waist , if I tried to fight him off I was surely going to break something.

" what the hell is wrong with you she's human ? " I said while turning around to face him. " so what she's my staff " Ace said while rolling his eyes at me.

" what happened to " you got to kill to survive ? " guess that don't apply to your staff , I'm hungry feed me " I said while rolling my eyes.

" alright gorgeous " Ace said while walking towards the kitchen , and I followed because like who doesn't want free food.

He stopped at a big refrigerator , he better have some humans stashed away. He opened it , and pulled out a blood bag , " drink this " Ace said while handing one to me.

I started drinking it but it just didn't satisfy my hunger , this is something else , I can feel it. " Another one " I said while finishing up my first bag.

He Handed me another one , than another , than another but I was still hungry. " I can't do this anymore " I said while wiping the blood from my mouth.

" Something is wrong with me " I said while letting a few tears shed , " what happened to me why am I just waking up ? " I said while looking at Ace.

" Veronica I'm going to be completely honestly with you " Ace started while closing his eyes , " what ? " I said while walking towards him.

" Veronica you were unconscious for 3 days " Ace said while opening his eyes , " so it is something wrong with me ? " I said while stopping in my tracks.

" I'm not sure while you were unconscious you had a force field up " Ace said while walking towards me , " did I hurt you ? " I asked while throwing my arms around his neck.

" No actually , I was the only one who could get through it " Ace said while wrapping his arms around my waist. " Its the mate bond " I said while smiling.

" yeah I think so , my ability to read minds have gotten stronger , I couldn't read my bastard of a father before " Ace said while moving his hands down my legs.

" Not in the kitchen " I said while moving his hand from my leg , " your no fun " Ace said while kissing my neck. I have to say he was turning me on , but I was super hungry , and the smell of Aces blood was a turn on.

I let my fangs come out than I paused for a moment , " you smell like vanilla " I said while biting into his neck. I think this is what I've been craving for , after I tasted his blood the hunger went away.
