A month later and like Carlisle predicted renesmee grew. She looks about 6 now, we had to buy her all new things again. Apart from the toys. But we bought her new clothes and a new bed.

It was nearly Christmas so it had been snowing a lot, I decided go take renesmee on a walk in the snow. Jacob decided to come along to since he didn't really want to leave renesmee.

I picked out Nessie's outfit for the day which was some grey boots, black cotton tights and a long grey wool shirt. I then put a off white jacket on top with a cute grey hat.

"What do you think?" I asked Nessie as I held her in front of the mirror.

"Pretty" she said indicating to me and I laughed.

"Thanks sweetie but I was wondering what you thought about your outfit" I told her and she looked at her clothes.

"I look good! Let's go get jakey" she said grabbing my hand leading me downstairs.

We saw Jake waiting at the door and he smiled at us.

"Hi jakey!" Nessie greeted him.

"Hey Ness" he greeted her back holding out his hand.

She then grabbed my other hand as we walked outside. We walked into the forest, a few times on our walk Nessie would stop to play in the snow.

"Wolfie! Please" Nessie said to Jacob using the puppy eyes that I had taught her making him sigh.

"Fine" he said before walking away from us and phasing into his giant puppy self.

"Yay!" She clapped walking over to him and stroking his head.

We walked out into a clearing where she ran around playing in the snow, I kept thinking about how fast she's ageing, I don't want to watch her grow old and die.

"Look a snowflake!" Nessie squealed running over to me and showing me the small white dot in her hand. I smiled at her.

"It's beautiful, why don't you go get another one?" I asked her and she nodded running off.

She jumped up to catch the snowflakes when I smelt a familiar scent. Nessie obviously sensed the new person because she froze mid air and then dropped down, running over to me.

"Who's that?" Nessie asked me as Jacob moved to our side.

"I think that's one of your dads cousins" I told her before facing in the direction of the blonde.

"Irina!" I yelled trying to get her to come towards us but she just looked at me in sadness and betrayal and shook her head.

She sped away making me confused.

"That was strange. Let's go home" I told Nessie who climbed onto Jacobs back.

We walked back to the Cullens house and I took Nessie's jacket and boots off as she ran off to find her dad. I walked off to find Carlisle to tell him about Irina.

I knocked on his office door.

"Come in!" He called.

I walked inside and he gave me his attention.

"What's wrong Andrea?" He asked taking in my confused and worried expression.

"On our walk. I saw Irina but she looked at me with anger when I tried to get her to come over to us" I told him and he pulled a confused face before walking out of his office. I followed him downstairs where he grabbed the house phone and dialled the Denalis number.

I allowed him to talk on the phone in private whilst I sat in the living room and waited for him to finish. Soon Rosalie and Emmett joined me making me smile as they both kissed me before sitting down with myself in the middle.

Esme then sat down on the other couch as Edward taught Renesmee to play piano.

Carlisle then walked into the room and sat down with his wife.

"Tanya convinced Irina to come reconcile with us after the small fight they had about the wolves at the wedding" Carlisle explained.

"It looks like she changed her mind" Edward piped up.

"Seeing Jacob must have been too much for her" Esme said.

"She didn't want to talk to us" I told them shrugging, I didn't really care to be honest. I only really got along with Kate and Tanya. More so Kate.

"She's family. She'll come around" Carlisle smiled reassuringly.

Edward then went back to teaching renesmee piano and I smiled watching them, I'm glad Bella left. He's a great dad all by himself and renesmee is growing up just fine without her mother.

Alice walked into the room holding a vase of flowers, she gasped as she got sucked into a vision and she dropped the vase making us all look at her as Jasper rushed to her side.

"What is it Alice?" Jasper asked her.

"The volturi. They're coming for us, Aro, Caius, Marcus, the guard. And Irina" she explained and my jaw tightened.

"Irina must of told those pompous pricks about Nessie!" I seethed.

"Why what did she see?" Carlisle asked me.

"We were just walking." Jacob said.

"Renesmee was catching snowflakes. Like flying in the fricken air catching" I said and Edward gave me a glare as he looked at renesmee.

"Bad word" she pointed to me.

"Yeah. Yeah. Don't repeat it" I told her and she laughed.

"Irina must think that renesmee is an immortal child" Edward said as Carlisle sped off to look for information on them.

"What like a vampire baby?!" I gasped.

"Who the fuck would turn a child into a vampire" I yelled.

"Bad word" Nessie told me and I smiled slightly.

"Don't repeat it" I told her as Carlisle came back with a book and showed us pictures.

"The immortal children were very beautiful, so enchanting. To be near them was to live the. But their development was frozen at the age they were turned. They couldn't be taught or restrained, a single tantrum could destroy and entire village." He explained.

"Humans heard about the devastation, stories spread. The volturi were forced to intervene. Since the children couldn't protect our secret they had to be destroyed. Their creators grew attached and fought to protect them, long- established covens were torn apart. Countless humans slaughtered. Traditions, friends, even families. Lost." He continued before telling us the story about how the denalis mother created an immortal child.

"Why would she do that? It's sick" I said.

"She wanted more children but as a vampire she couldn't have that" he told me making me look down at the mention of not being able to have children. We've been trying but so far nothing has worked.

"She payed the price for what she had created" he told me.

"Dead?" I asked and he nodded.

"The sisters were forced to watch. That's probably why Irina told the volturi without letting us explain" he told me and I felt sorry for the denalis.

"Renesmee isn't like any of those children! She was born not bitten she grows every single day" Edward said.

"So can't you just explain that to the volturi?" Jacob asked.

"Aro has enough proof in Irina's thoughts" Edward shook his head.

"So we fight" Jacob shrugged making me smirk.

"I like him more and more" I commented getting a laugh out of Rosalie.

"Their offensive weapons are too powerful, no one can stand against Jane." Jasper said.

"Alec's even worse" Alice continued.

"Well we're going to have to convince them somehow" I said.

"They're coming to kill us not to talk baby" Emmett told me and I sighed.

"No your right. They won't listen to us but maybe others can convince them. Carlisle we have friends all around the world." Edward said looking determined.

"I won't ask them to fight." He protested.

"Not fight. Witness if enough people knew the truth maybe we could convince the volturi to listen" Edward said.

"We can ask this of our friends" Esme said grabbing Carlisles hand.

"I'll call my family. You will have the whole original family on your side, the volturi has seen some of our many fights. They will be scared if they see the whole family" I told them and Edward sent me a great full look.
