The day of the fight had finally arrived, Bella, Edward, Jacob and some other wolf are up on the mountain whilst the rest of the Cullens plus Kol and I were waiting for the army to approach.

"They're coming" Kol told us obviously picking up on the fast approaching footsteps whilst I was distracted.

"Kol" I said and he turned to me and we smirked at each other.

"Happy fighting" we said at the same time and Emmett groaned.

"Your those creepy twins that do stuff at the same time aren't you?" He asked us.

"Yes" Kol and I said together again making Rose glance at me in amusement.

We saw the newborns run out of the trees and we charged towards them.

I punched one guy in the face and used my speed to go behind him and twist his head off. I was caught of guard when a newborn wrapped their arms around me and attempted to crush me, she broke my arm and I wrapped my legs around her neck pushing her to the ground where I grabbed her head and threw it off.

I caught sight of a brown haired girl near the edge who looked scared so I approached her cautiously. She looked at me wide eyed and started whimpering.

"P-please don't hurt me" she pleaded.

I smiled softly at her.

"I won't I promise. You wanna come with me? I can get someone to help you" I told her and she hesitantly nodded.

"What's your name?" I asked her.

"Bree"

"I'm Andrea"

I held my hand out for her and she grabbed it.

I led her over to the Cullens who were burning the newborns.

"Carlisle" I called and he looked cautiously at the girl I had at my side. He approached us.

"This is bree. She didn't fight, she didn't want to harm anyone. I promised her help" I told him and he nodded leading the girl away from me.

I walked over to my brother who had some of his own blood on him.

"You good?" I asked him and he smirked.

"Of course. Is your arm alright it looked slightly curved" he said raising a brow.

My mates looked at my arm and went wide eyed when they saw me bleeding. I shrugged and grabbed it snapping it back into place, I bit my lip to keep from crying out.

"Andrea!" Emmett said in shock and I grinned at him.

"It's alright, I have advanced healing remember" I smiled and he grabbed me in his arms making sure I was alright. I saw Rose looking me over too as she gripped my hand.

"Guys I'm alright"

"I'm so glad I don't have anyone fussing over me" kol said and I laughed.

"You won't be saying that when you find your mate" I told him as we started to walk over to the rest of the Cullens.

He scoffed.

"I'm quite happy on my own thank you"

I shrugged at him just as a wolf pounced onto another newborn, the newborn got his arms around the wolf just as another brown wolf came and ripped him off of the first wolf.

The newborn managed to get his arms around the wolf and crush some of his bones. I winced at the sound as some more wolves tore the newborn apart.

I saw the whimpering one turn and I could see that it was Jacob.

"Ouch" I muttered.

Carlisle checked him over whilst Bella fussed over him, I rolled my eyes at her whining. As Alice announced the volturi were coming.

I saw Kol start to inhale deeply and I smirked.

"Smell something you like brother?" I asked him and he glared before his head snapped forwards and he looked a blonde girl up and down.

I giggled quietly knowing that Kol just found his mate.

They approached us as the blonds eyes were kept on Kol. They took their hoods down.

"Impressive" she started and I laughed when Kol perked up at the sound of her voice.

"I've never seen a coven escape an assault of this magnitude intact"

"Who is she?" I muttered to my mate so quietly that the volturi couldn't hear us.

"Her name is Jane. She's an elite guard" Emmett told me.

I nodded and tuned back into the conversation.

"We we're lucky" Carlisle responded to her.

"I doubt that" she said sassily and I smirked, I like her.

"It appears we missed an entertaining fight" the brunette next to her said.

"Yes. It's not often we're rendered unnecessary" Jane said smirking.

"If you'd arrived a half hour ago you would have fulfilled your purpose" Edward retorted.

"Pity" Janes eyes darted to bree.

"You missed one"

Jasper stood next to bree defensively as Carlisle explained why she was here.

"We offered her asylum in exchange for her surrender"

"That wasn't yours to offer" she retorted.

"Why did you come?" Jane questioned bree. When she didn't answer she suddenly started screaming in pain and I smirked at kol.

"Your perfect for each other" I told him and he nodded with a dazed look.

"Who created you?" Jane asked her again choosing to ignore me but I could see a hint of a smile on her face before she went back to smirking at bree's pain.

"You don't need to do that. She'll tell you anything you want to know" Esme told Jane.

Suddenly bree stopped screaming as Jane smirked.

"I know"

"I don't know" bree gasped out.

"Riley wouldn't tell us, he said our thoughts weren't safe"

"Her name was Victoria, perhaps you knew her" Edward said glaring at Jane making kol growl lowly.

"Edward. If the volturi had knowledge of Victoria they would have stopped her. Isn't that right Jane?" Carlisle questioned.

"Of course" she replied before turning to the tall brunette.

"Felix."

He started walking towards bree.

"She didn't know what she was doing!" Esme spoke up and Jane stopped felix from going further.

"We'll take responsibility for her" Esme tried. I didn't bother trying to plead with her because I could see it in her eyes that she was going to make felix kill bree anyway.

"Give her a chance" Carlisle said.

"The volturi don't give second chances. Keep that in mind, Caius will be interested to know that she's still human" Jane said spotting Bella next to Edward. I smirked hoping that she will kill her.

"The date is set" Bella scowled, I rolled my eyes making Jane smirk.

"Take care of that felix I'd like to go home" Jane said.

Felix walked over to Bree as Jane smirked watching. He ripped her apart as she screamed and tossed her into the fire.

The volturi started waking away making kol frown but Jane looked back at him and tilted her head as an invitation. Kol looked at me.

"Go. She's your mate" I told him smiling, he kissed me on the top of my head and embraced me.

"I'll call you sister" he said starting to walk towards Jane.

"Goodbye brother"
