The room was filled with silence , luvian woke up to the sound of his own stable heartbeat.

He lifted his head off of Arthur's chest

He paused and looked at his surroundings.

'uh I fell asleep again.'

"nii-sama , are you sleepin-" he rubbed his eyes and slowly looked up at his older brother's face then jolted letting out a silent scream.

"!!!"

"is he dead?" He tapped Arthur's cheek hesitantly.

"What's wrong? I was sleeping." He blinked "you look like you've seen a ghost." Said Arthur.

"Why'd you sleep with your eyes open?" Luv questioned and shook his head while letting out a sigh.

Arthur rested his hand under his chin "My eyes were open?"

"..."

"You didn't know..? Besides.." luv laid his head against Arthur's chest once again.

"hm?" Arthur nuzzled his Younger brother's hair.

"could it be are you finally in the mood to-" said Arthur before being interrupted.

"Older brother, your heart isn't beating." Luv said in a flustered tone.

'I knew it , You just don't have one.' luvian nodded thinking it all makes sense.

"Yes , it does stop beating every now and then , though it doesn't make any difference." Said Arthur.

'Was he worried?' He thought to himself quietly.

"curious." Luv muttered to himself.

Arthur cleared his throat and said in a shy yet serious tone "If you're that interested, I could pull it out for you-"

Luv paused before answering "no."

"no thank you."

"did I get any invitations lately?" Luv looked at his brother blankly not expecting a truthful answer.

"No." Arthur said straightforwardly before smiling widely and tilting his head.

Luvian stayed quiet and kept his usual blank stare.

"Come , let's wash up then eat breakfast." Arthur stepped off of the bed and offered his hand.

The youngest took his older brother's hand and the two left the room.

While the two were walking their way a dark figure slipped out of luvian's shadow.

Luv narrowed his eyes forward 'brings them to me.'

' Said the kneeling dark figure with a smirk as it's black eyes glistened.

The look in the Younger prince's eyes immediately changed "aniki , I want a cake with caramel dressing for breakfast." Luv said after the black figure disappeared.

"Yes, my little lovebird." Said Arthur in his usual tone.

"..."

"and don't call me that." Luv said as they continued walking hand to hand.

"No , can do." Arthur said with a poker face.

"Xi is hungry too." Said luvian.

"Just let it starve , it'll live." Arthur said.

"Aniki-.."

"Are you sure you don't want me to accompany you?" Said Arthur.

Luvian nodded "I need some lone time , besides I'm not going anywhere it's just the underground onsen."

"what if something happens to you?" Arthur followed his Youngest brother and questioned.

"If that happens Then you'd feel it." Luv said in a blank tone

'It's also better this way to slowly build some distance, he's stuck to me 24/7.' He thought to himself.

The butler knocked the door twice then said "Your highness, the onsen has been prepared."

Arthur stood with his arms crossed and frowned at his younger brother.

"Aniki , just... get some rest, alright?" Luv said as he grabbed his towel and stepped out of the room.

'Ah...god.' Luvian leaned against the door and sighed before following the butler to their destination.

When they did , Luv refused to let them in and ordered them to wait outside until he's finished.

as luv stepped into the onsen a wave of relaxation fell upon him.

'Come out.'

The dark figure slowly rose from the shadows.

It held a pile of letters.

'There's less than I've expected.' Luv glanced up at the dark figure.

It then held out a bag that was filled with ash.

'Uh , I see.' Luv shrugged then rested his cheek on his arm.

The youngest prince reached out to the pile of letters and picked a random one that had an emerald green seal and opened it.

'A tea party?'

'Nah.' He threw the letter away.

He then picked an other one that had a white seal 'Oo who dis.'

"hey , it doesn't have a name." Luv looked up at the dark figure.

He blinked as he took out what looked to be some sort of certificate.

Luv stared at it and read it a couple more times.

"What kind of joke is this?" He frowned and tossed the letter into the water.

"Uh , the temperature is getting too warm , I'll go through them later , I'm out."

The dark figure held out his hand towards his master and helped him step out , then covered him with a towel.

"You may go." Luv muttered then walked out of the door.

Luv changed to his clothes then went to the dining room.

He strode his way to his seat which was next to his older brother's and sat down.

"Your face is a little red , did you catch a fever?" Arthur looked at his brother with his usual poker face.

"No , it's normal." Luv lazily held the fork and stabbed it into the bun.

"Eat the vegetables too." Arthur said as he continued to slice and eat his food.

"Yeeesh.." the Younger prince mumbled then stuffed his mouth with the bun.

Arthur glanced at his Younger brother "table manners."

"But aniki..There's something that I'm interes-"

Arthur narrowed his eyes.

"-te..-" Luv chocked on his bun.

"That's been bothering me , I meant to say." Luv said then swiftly sneaked the veggies under the table where xi was laying down 'eat.'

Xi looked at his master with teary pitiful eyes.

"Yes?" The eldest prince roughly cut through his food and the plate.

Luv glanced at his older brother's now cleanly sliced through plate.

"Which family has a white seal?" He questioned.

Arthur paused and looked up. "Which family. has a white seal, you ask?"

Luv nodded , trying to seem a little less interested he reached for some grapes and stuffed his mouth with them like a squirrel.

"You're going to choke on that , spit them out." Arthur said as he held out a handkerchief in front of Luvian's mouth

"The imperial family."
