Third Person POV;

She stood there, frozen in her spot, still holding onto the files that she was supposed to return to Midas. Gulping, she gave everyone in the room a small faint smile, "Hi.." She awkwardly waved as she tried making eye contact with everyone sitting on the table. There, she spotted a banana immediately thinking of her friend back at home in the real world, Y/F/N, God she missed everyone back at home, sooner or later, she'll be back. 'I wonder if anyone has even noticed my disappearance.' She quickly thought to herself before landing her eyes on the buff cat sitting next to Agent Peely. She recognized him from the battle pass and seeing other players use him in battle, she adored him so much with his cute face and funny body type. Next to the buff kitty sat a girl with a pixie hair cut in a red crop top reading 'Boom' fiddling with a grenade in her hand making Y/N intimidated. Across from her was another girl, almost around Y/N's young age, 16 maybe? She had a cute outfit revealing how young she is. Next to her was a big man with shoulders more broad than Midas', he was bald and looked as buff at the cat across the from him wearing sunglasses but you can feel his stare through them, sending shivers down your spine. Next to him on the far end also next to Midas, was another female, but this time she was more average looking than everyone else, she wore simple clothes as her long dark hair was rested on one side of her left shoulder just barely covering half her face.

Getting back on track Y/N finally found the courage to walk up to Midas as the room stayed quiet, the only thing making noise were her odd looking boots clomping on the ground. Midas making eye contact with her the whole time as he knew she were walking towards him. Speaking lowly as she was shy talking in front of the others next to her "I- um, finished organizing the papers the way you wanted." She said shy and quiet slightly avoiding eye contact with the tattooed man. "Thank you." He whispered back. Before she could walk away from the awkward tension Midas spoke up to the agents sitting in front of him.

"I want you all to give a special warm welcome to Y/N." He instructed looking at each member. There was mix of "Hi's" or "Helloo!" and "Hey Y/N". Her face turning warm from being nervous. As calm as she looked, she was shitting herself on the inside. She wasn't prepared for any of this, she's in a game for crying out loud! She doesn't know how to act. She gave everyone the typical smile that she'd give everyone else. "Y/N," Midas turned his head at her "These are my main agents; Peely, Meowcles, TNTina, Skye, Brutus, and Maya." He informed as his hand was directed towards each person he named. "You can just call me Tina!" The girl in the 'Boom' shirt exclaimed as she tossed the grenade in her hand, catching it. "You need to be careful with them things, they aren't toys." Brutus scolded at her. "And you sir, need to be careful who you're talking to like that before one of these 'toys' end up in the back of your throat." She shot back making Y/N giggle. "New girl likes my jokes, I already like her." Tina said shooting a wink at her. Feeling welcomed by that action, she winked back at her with a smile on the lips.

"I expect you guys to treat her with all do respect, as she is somewhat apart of the team now, understood?" Midas asked everyone. Half of the group said yes while the other nodded their heads. Y/N didn't know if you should've stand there for moral support or to leave and not invade their privacy. "Did you need me to do anything else, sir?" Y/Nquietly asked. "Just stand there and pay attention to the meeting." He instructed.

About 30 minutes went by as Y/N tried to understand the basics that were discussing, for example, they were talking about fighting against their enemy 'Shadow'. She didn't know much of them, except from the obvious that they're the bad guys and the leader is named Chaos. Midas and everyone else were planning on an attack on a shadow hideout next to Frenzy Farm at a gas station. "Then, we'll slowly get rid of their hide outs little by little until we get ready to hit the big jackpot." Midas finished, making his new assistant wonder what the big jackpot was.

30 minutes later the meeting ended and everyone exited the room. Everyone besides Y/N and Midas. As the door closed behind Brutus, Midas turned his chair putting his attention on the girl next to him. "How was that first meeting? Be honest." Midas asked. "It was good, I got the gist of what you were talking about. Shadow are the bad guys and you and the other agents are trying to stop them from taking over the island?" She summarized. "That's the basics yes, there's a lot more into, but you and I can discuss that some other time when I think it's appropriate for you to know." He replied. "Okay yeah.. No rush, just as long as I you know, get informed about it before I get back home in the real world.." Midas looked at her before replying. "Yeah, about that, with everything going on, it may take some time before we find a safe way for you to get back home." He broke the news toY/N. She sighed as she knew she couldn't do anything about it except trust his words. "Right.." She said in a low voice. She couldn't stand feeling awkward around him so much so she finally decided to leave the meeting room as he then proceeded to follow her out, holding the door before, letting her out first in a gentleman act.

"You did good today, for a rookie." Midas joked at the girl walking next to him. She chuckled saying a quick 'Thanks'. "Is that all I'll be doing today?" Ask Y/N. "For today, yes. Don't get too comfortable to this minimal amount of work, overtime I'll give you more assignments." He said looking forward as they made their way to the front desk where Bracer sat at. "I'll be sure to keep that in mind, sir." "What'd I say about you calling me sir? It makes me feel old." Midas said. "Sorry, just a habit." Y/N apologized. "No worries, it shows me how polite you are." He lightly smiled before returning to his emotionless face. "If you'll excuse me, I'm going to up to my office upstairs to do some paperwork. You're free to go home or hang out here at agency for however long you want, but if you need me, you know where to find me." He nodded at the end. "Of course, thank you." She smiled. She watched his long lanky body walk off as his broad shoulder swayed with his arms, tattooed to perfection. She shook her head snapping out of her inappropriate thoughts.

Y/N didn't know what to do with all the time left in the day, she didn't feel like going home to do nothing. Looking around, she realized she never got a chance to see what is inside of this huge beautiful building. That's when she knew she can keep herself occupied by giving herself a tour of the agency, not knowing what rooms to expect. She thought about asking a henchmen for a quick tour or even a map of the place, but she didn't want to bother the busy men. She began starting her own adventure.

She turned around to door next to the entrance of the meeting room, it was just an empty office, pretty big though. She closed it behind her before walking to the door right across from it. She opened the door, eyes widened to meet with the faces from the meeting. "Oh! sorry, I was just wandering around the area." She apologized on her way out, but was stopped. "Wait! Stay!" She turned to see that the little girl, Skye, called for her back. "Yes?" She questioned looking around at the faces as they all stared back. "Come hang out with us for bit! If you're not busy at the moment." Tina chimed in with the same grenade in the hand. Y/N contemplated on either lying to get out of this awkward situation or just take it and be social for once. "Nah, I'm not busy, I just got done with work actually." Y/N told truthfully. Skye quickly got up from the couch and patted the open spot next to her as an invite for the new assistant to join.

Y/N walked over and sat crossing her right over her left laid back. "So what's up?" Y/N broke the silence." Nothing really, we all just come in here after every meeting to hang out and chill after M's boringgg meeting. Oh my god, please don't tell him I said that!" Sky panicked, this made Y/N chuckle a bit. "Don't worry, I'm not a snitch." She assured Skye. "So how's the first day?" The cute buff cat asked. "Umm, well it wasn't bad at all, easy actually, for now that is. But I'm glad I got to meet you guys." Y/Ndidn't know if she should've told them about how she got here in the first place, but she figured that it isn't really relevant right now, she wanted to see what it'd be like if she actually felt normal around here. "You should feel lucky too, usually we never get a proper introduction to Midas' past assistants, probably because he fires them within the same week." Maya shrugged. Y/N didn't know if she should've panicked or been flattered, worry about getting fired so quickly or glad that you're not like the past workers he's had. "Yeah, the only worker that we actually know pretty well is Rook, when she's around though." Tina added.Y/N nodded not knowing what else to say. "Well then I guess it's my pleasure. I hope I get to actually get to know you guys since I'll be around from now on, I hope." Y/N sighed.

"Why don't we start now?" Skye jumped up from the couch to Y/N's left. She looked up at her shocked that they actually want to hang out or even associate with the new girl. Usually, assistants aren't very included outside of work which is how you expected to be treated, luckily, she wasn't, maybe they saw something in her, something they liked. "How?" She questioned eyebrows furrowed from curiosity as she looked up at the young girl in the cute beanie. "Let's go out! The mall, dinner, and just have fun! Today is our only day off this week so it's a great opportunity." Skye explained, making Y/N quite interested. "Would you guys really be down?" She asked look at everyone. Skye eyed Meowcles, Peely, and Brutus before speaking, "Uh- Girls only!" The boys kind of shrugged. Typical boys not caring about the mall, just like back at home. "I could kick it, I need to buy new face paint for when we go on missions anyways." Maya participated. "Yeah, I'm hungry so I guess I'll go." Tina shrugged. All three female agents looked at Y/N, waiting for her answer. She smiled at the kind gesture, "I'm down." She simply said making Skye happy with a loud "Yay!" the girls laughing at her excitement. Y/N turned at the male agents, "Sorry guys, it wasn't my idea to not have you three tag along." She said with an apologetic look. "Don't worry, you're day with us will come, if that's how Skye wants to play, we'll have a 'boys only' day" Peely fought. "But, Y/N's not a boy banana brains." Skye fought back. "boys only day, with Y/N." he corrected himself. Sitting there confused at to why she was being fought over, made her feel weird as the attention was on her, but she liked it for once, they actually want to hang out with you. This brought a smirk on her face.

"I'm fine with a boys only plus me day too." She spoke up looking at the boys. "Then it's settled you're coming with us so that you can see how much cooler we are!" Tine said before standing up, grabbing your arm and leading towards the exit as the two other girls followed right behind. You didn't know when the boys only day would come, but that wasn't important right now so you pushed it to the back of your head. Tina let go of your left arm as you guys left outside the agency making way towards the boats sitting in the front where a few henchmen were taking watch. (RIP agency). "Sup henchmen, us girls would like a trip to retail row please!" Tina requested to the nearest henchmen, nodding her head he spoke in the mic letting near by henchmen that he will be going out. As Y/N was thinking about the necessities that she'll be getting, she instantly remembered that you have no money yet. Panicking, she stopped the girls, "Wait wait wait, I don't have money yet!" She said quickly. The henchmen looked at the other girls waiting, not knowing if he should get the boat ready. "Don't worry, we got you, we have business cards that M gave us in case of an emergency." Maya informed. This made her feel a little bad. You know that feeling where when someone buys you even something cheap and small, you feel bad because they used up their hard earned money on you. Yeah, that's what Y/N was feel, but she brushed it off it is a business card. "Okay, thanks." She said shyly, but grateful.

Off the girls went, starting their new friendship.
