I sat at my desk, chewing on a pen as I read over my biology homework when my phone buzzed with two texts from Haydn.
ONE MORE HOUR UNTIL YOU'RE FREE
get dressed and meet me outside at 7.
I smiled at the message before I discarded my Friday night homework mission and headed to my closet to get changed, as much as I loved going to my mom's studio, I was excited to finally go somewhere else.
Now one would think this would be torture, being grounded for two weeks, and I thought it would be too, but surprisingly my parents still allowed Haydn to come over, which she did, every day. Although, after the first time she came I think it was more for my parents' benefit than mine because they loved, and I mean LOVED Haydn. If she wasn't in the kitchen cooking or drinking tea with me and my mom, she was talking to my dad for hours about cars, they even started watching car shows together.
If I was being honest, she spent more time with them than with me whenever she came over and even though I pretended to be annoyed I was ecstatic that they approved of her- it was a weight off my shoulders. I switched my casual clothes for a white skirt and top before I used a thick, oversized checkered shirt (yet another clothing item I'd stolen from my girlfriend) instead of a jacket and slipped on my shoes before I headed over to my parents' room. I quietly knocked on the door before I slipped in, my parents lying on top of their bed watching a movie.
"Mama, Pa, is it okay if I go out with Haydn tonight?" I smiled as I battered my eyelashes, just before the alarm went off on my phone, indicating that my grounding was officially over. My mom sighed as they looked at each other and eyed me carefully.
"I guess it's okay, but you better be home before midnight- with or without Haydn." She warned seriously as I squealed, running over to kiss them both goodbye before I went to my room to grab my stuff and raced down.
Haydn was already waiting by the time I made it outside and as soon as she saw me, she got out of the car to open the door for me, but I just made a beeline for her. As soon as I had her in my grasp, I kissed her. The only downside to the whole arrangement was that we barely had any alone time together so I couldn't remember the last time I really kissed her.

"Mmm, I missed you." She murmured against my lips, her hands slipping around my waist as she pulled me closer as she tried to slip her tongue between my lips.
"Baby, baby," I whispered as I pulled away. "We should go before they change their minds." She groaned and kissed me one last time before and I climbed into the passenger seat before she ran across to the driver's side.
"Hello to you too by the way." She flirted before we drove off and I finally had a chance to take her in.
She looked good, but then again, she always looked good, and I was biased, dressed in ripped black jeans, a black tank top and her Playboy bunny shirt with vans.
"So where are you taking me?" I asked curiously and she shrugged.
"I don't know, I guess we'll just have to wait and see." She winked as her hand slowly caressed my thigh. "But one thing though, I have to blindfold you again." She grinned and I rolled my eyes.
"Not again, I nearly fell the last time." I joked and I saw a mischievous glint in her eye.
"Guess we're just gonna have to practice using them some more." She flirted, her hand climbing a little higher and I blushed.
Haydn had become a lot more comfortable with me recently, which was a good thing because it finally felt like she let go around me, she stopped holding her breath. One thing I wasn't expecting was that she got a lot touchier and more affectionate, even in public which I was not complaining about because Haydn was very loving.
As we pulled up to a red-light Haydn reached forward and pulled a black blindfolded from her glove box and instructed me to turn around before she secured it over my eyes, leaving me blind to the world.
"Do I get a clue?" I asked as we drove off again and I heard the smirk in her reply.
"Now where's the fun in that."
"You know, I'm starting to think that one day you really are going to murder me," I muttered as her laughter filled the car.
"At least it will keep you on your toes, keeps things interesting." She pointed out and I rolled my eyes even though she couldn't see it.
The rest of the drive went by quickly and soon I felt Haydn pull to a stop before she got out of the car and ran around to open my door. I felt the cool air against my skin as Haydn remained quiet for a few seconds before I felt her lean in and while I thought she was going to kiss me I was disappointed for her to whisper against my ear.

"You know, I think I really like seeing you like this." I knew she was smirking.
"Take a picture, it will last longer," I replied as she helped me down and once, I was on my feet she locked the car.
"Oh, I plan to." She said lowly before she started to lead me through the unfamiliar environment.
Once we entered a building Haydn said we were walking too slow so for the rest of the way she carried me on her back, which wasn't too far because soon we walked into a room, and she placed me gently on my feet.
"You good?" She asked nervously, which only made me slightly nervous.
"Damn, you're really about to kill me," I whispered as she took off the blindfold and it took me a second for my eyes to adjust, which didn't take long because the large room was very dark and very empty.
Well, that's what I thought until I looked up and saw all the stars- Haydn brought me to a fucking planetarium.
"Woah," I whispered, taking it all in. "How did you even-"
"I've got friends in high places." She joked and I cocked my eyebrow at her. "Okay, okay- a certain waiter owed me a favour, turns out he works here now- we're actually the first people to see it. The development's not done yet, they still have to install the chairs and lights."
"This place is beautiful," I whispered as she pulled me towards a blanket in the middle and I smiled. "Are you trying to recreate our second date or something?" I asked, purposely trying to get a reaction from her and she rolled her eyes.
"Our first date actually." She clarified as we went to sit down, and I looked up in awe.
"I can't believe you did this," I whispered as she moved behind me and I leaned my head against her shoulder as she wrapped her arms around my waist.
"Of course, I did. I just wanted to show you how grateful I am for you and everything you do for me. I don't even know how to thank you." She murmured thoughtfully and I twisted around to face her.
"Haydn, you don't have to thank me, I'd do anything for you- I love you." I shrugged. "And besides, you're stuck with me now."
"That doesn't sound too bad." She smirked as she looked down at me with her beautiful golden eyes and I was willing to argue they were more beautiful than the stars above us.
"You say that now, but just wait until I get annoying." I smiled and she shook her head.
"Then I can't wait for you to annoy me every day." She smirked and I felt my cheeks heat up under her gaze as she leaned in closer. "And see you every day." She whispered lowly before she kissed me. "And kiss you every day." She murmured before she kissed me again, my insides melting. "And move in with you." Kiss. "And marry you one day." Kiss.
"What?" I whispered in shock as I pulled away. "You want to marry me one day?" I frowned and she shrugged.
"Of course." She said in a "duh" tone and I shook my head as my heart skipped a beat- she couldn't mean that.
"How do you even know you'll want to marry me? We're still so youn-" I started but she cut me off.
"Cristina, I am in love with you, and I have your initials tattooed on my body- where else do you think this was going?" She smirked and I could help but smile. "Besides, I'm pretty sure I want to spend the rest of my life with you." She said sincerely and I forgot how to breathe for a few seconds.
"I do too," I whispered honestly before she leaned in and kissed me, gently pushing me onto my back before she followed, my hands already entangled in her hair.
Haydn Moreno was mine and I was hers and that was the only thing that mattered to me because I didn't plan to let her go anytime soon- I fell for her completely and it was the best thing that had ever happened to me.
