♤♠︎Chapter 50♠︎♤

●Kevin:Point of view●

My brother has been spacing out so much these past few days that it is starting to annoy the hell out of me.

He doesn't spill out what has been bothering him... And when I do ask, he gets defensive about it, as if I'm bringing up a sensitive topic that shouldn't be touched upon.

He was still mad about the stupid photo incident. I don't know why he's even angry. This is nothing new that I do. He's just pissed because it's Emma in that photo with me and not some random chick.

At least her face isn't visible in the damn photo.

The other day, it seemed like whatever was on his mind, he spilled it out to Mike. Of course, I tried persuading Mike to spill what my twin brother confined to him, but all he did was change the conversation to something stupid that I didn't give two shits about. He really has to stop doing that random shit.

"Hey guys, are you going to Jennifer's party on Thursday?" Rose says as she sits herself down on her seat in front of us as she starts taking out her red small book for the class, neatly placing it on the table in front of her.

"Maybe." Leo lets out. In his voice, it was as clear as day how disinterested he was in going to the party or even hearing about it. All-day, people have been asking him the same question, and at this point, if anyone asks him one more time, he's going to start throwing punches.

He doesn't even go to the strip club anymore... And that was weird in itself because he was the one who usually went there to have a strong drink or let out his stress with the bartender.

"Maybe?!... Dude, that is going to be the biggest party of the year. Jennifer is going all out. It's her birthday and it's going to be wild." She gushes out with enthusiasm, excitement shining in her blue eyes.

It was not new news that she was a party girl... She lived more in other people's houses than in her own.

"And you, Kevin?

Are you going? Don't tell me you are also debating not going.

Come on, without you, it won't be fun." She says shamelessly. Of course, it wouldn't be fun because at every party I go to, I end up fighting someone or fucking someone else girl.

It was an already known fact that I wasn't easygoing. And if anyone did something to piss me off, they had to expect to get punched in the face. Violence is the only way I could solve my problems easily. And it was the quickest too.

And the little fireworks in front of me loved drama. She just wanted to spend the next few days talking about it with her friends. who are also, just like her, problematic. If she wasn't the one who spilled the tea, she was the one who created it just to spill it.

She was a troublemaker who loved being in the middle of chaos. One of these days, she's going to create chaos that she won't be able to wheedle herself out of so easily. And I just wish it was soon because then she'd get a piece of her own medicine. It'll be interesting to see her self-destruct.

"Of course, I'm going." There is no way I'm missing that party; it's the only way I could let loose for the night.

Her attention was stripped from us when Mrs. Walker walked through that door. Struggling to keep things from falling from her arms.

When the bell rang, I quickly made myself out of the classroom door and headed directly to Emma's math class. Her classroom wasn't too far from mine, so it was not a problem to get there.

Luckily, Leo didn't have the urge to follow me. He wasn't in the mood for my attics. He had his own struggles that he always overthink to the point of exhaustion.

Emma's teary eyes the other day haven't left me at ease. I did not like that look on her if I wasn't the one who caused that reaction out of her.

Searching for her in the crowd of students was easy; she looked like a turtle with that big, heavy gray bag she carries around on her back all day. And just like that, I found her quickly making herself down the long, bright hallway with her head hung low, as if she didn't want anyone to approach her or talk to her.

Again, she looked extremely unhappy. almost frustrated with her surroundings. She seemed like she wanted to isolate herself somewhere quiet, maybe to recollect herself.

It doesn't leave my mind that someone has been bothering her in that damn class. And she's not telling anyone about it.

When I asked Leo to see if he knew anything, he, unfortunately, didn't. Instead, he started questioning me about the situation rather than helping me out.

When I was about to catch up with her to drag her away again to a quieter place, someone out of the blue started conversing with her, making me slow down my steps a little and let some students in front of me, just to not be noticed by them.

This guy was inked up. He was twice her size. I tried to figure out who he was by just looking at him because I know damn well that he's not anyone who sits at her table at lunch.

Why does he look so familiar?

A frown couldn't help but emerge on my face... Rage quickly accumulated in my chest as my fist tightened to keep my self-control.

Why the hell is he talking to her?

Who the hell does he think he is to talk to her so casually like that? Is he the one bothering her? Is he the one making her cry?

If he is, he's going to regret even thinking he could mess with her.

But that speculation flew out the window when her soft lips stretched into a warm, welcoming smile like she was seeing a good old friend that she hadn't seen for years. Her tenseness seemed to ease off her body. And she seemed more relaxed and a little too happy talking with this guy.

This made me a little pissed off, nonetheless, I silently listened to their conversation... I need to know what kind of relationship they had.

"So... Emma. There is going to be a party on Thursday. Are you going? One of my good friends is throwing it. It's going to be hella fun."

"A party on a Thursday? Wouldn't that be a bad idea? Don't you have a test on Friday? Don't you need to study instead?" She questioned him. As she plays with the sleeves of her white sweater. She sounded like a mother disappointed with her oldest child's lifestyle.

"No... Well yeah, but I am a smart guy. So I don't need that little girl." He smiled as he continued.

"Plus, you could also invite your friends.

Don't give me that look... you exactly know who I'm talking about. The one you sit with at lunch."

She smiled shyly before she looked away from him for a brief moment. "I don't know. I don't like parties. And I need to finish my homeworks that has been piling up.

Plus, wouldn't it be intrusive to go to a party where the host doesn't know who I am? And I start inviting people to go to a party I haven't been invited to by the main host."

"No… that's why you have me as your personal invitation.

Many people are going, and she doesn't know half of them, to be honest with you." He reassures her. She looked at him with skeptical eyes. As if she's trying to see if he's spilling out lies.

"You could always leave early if you don't like it so much." He throws her a warm smile, and she happily returns one to him.

" I would have to ask my dad first, William. I don't want to get into trouble..." When she said that, the guy next to her raised an eyebrow as his smile grew.

He pats her head lightly as he continues "Okay, daddy's girl.

Do you want Hansol to pick you up if your father agrees to let you go have fun? Or do you want me to pick you up instead?"

"No, thanks. I will find a way to get there." She quickly denied his offer. As she smiles at him again, This is the first time I see her smile so much talking to someone else other than Leo.

"Be sure to go; Hansol would be so disappointed to not see you there."

"Really?" She questioned him, her dark eyes widened with curiosity, waiting for his response.

"Really? He hasn't shut up about you.

The next thing I know, you'll both be married with kids." When I heard what he said, my frown grew more... When I saw her shyly smile as her cheeks tint the lighter shade of pink, it made me want to remind her who she belonged to.

"Okay. See you later. Daddy's girl. "

"Okay, see you later, William." She shyly waved at him when they parted ways, and he returned the same gesture right back to her.

Of course, I kept following her, debating if I should drag her away to a quiet spot or just let her be.

At first, I was going to let her be, but then... this urge to bother her surged through me. It's been a while since I messed with her. Both my dear mother and Leo wouldn't give me a chance to bully my toy at home.

They're down my throat every second of the day.

The moment she turned to an almost vacant hall, my hand wrapped securely around her waist, of course, she struggled to get me to get me off but failed miserably as I dragged her to the closest empty janitor room.

Nobody helped.

When she's finally free from my right arm wrapped around her waist, she goes as far as her legs will take her inside this poorly lit room.

Worry filled her brown eyes when they settled on mine. She looked like a deer caught in bright headlights. Now, this is the look I like on her.

Then she started searching through her dark jeans pockets as if she was looking for something. I was interested in what she was looking for... And she did not disappoint one bit.

A small pink blade is pointed at me. Her hand trembles as she sees how I wasn't faced with the little weapon.

Judging by the color of it, I presume it is one of the girls who sits with her at lunch that probably gave her that sorry excuse of a pocket knife.

I should give her a bigger one and a sharper one too.

The small smirk on my face stretched out a little more when determination shone through her dark eyes, as if she had won this time.

Assuming that I would back off if she used that little thing on me. It's cute to see her so determined and so confident in her actions.

If Leo was here, he would look so proud of seeing her defend herself from me.

"It looks like my toy likes to play silly games." When she heard my words and how calm I sounded, A small frown gradually grew on her face as her body recoiled more against herself.

Her body language grew more uneasy the more she saw that she wasn't getting the response she was expecting out of me. Unconsciously, she started biting her lower lips in agitation that things weren't going how it played out in her little head a few seconds ago.

"This is not a game... I will stab you, Kev. If you come any closer, you're going to be in the ER before you can even blink. " But I didn't heed to her silly threats. Instead, I stepped closer, wanting to see if she'd do it.

Excitement rushed through my veins, making me feel alive for the first time in a long time.

"If you get any closer, I'm going to stab you, Kevin. So back away and leave me the fuck alone. " She repeated it as if it was going to work a second time if she said it with a glare on her face.

"Now let's think this through, Emma.

What do you think would happen if you stabbed me? I'll give you a minute to think it through carefully." A smile graced my lips as I stopped in front of the pink little knife.

"How would that sound to your father? Do you think he's going to take your side when you're the one who hurt me? His precious son.

Come on now, Emma. You know better than that. " The sharp knife was now gracing my dark shirt as my head tilted slightly to the right, upsetting her slightly as her eyes hardened on how unfazed her actions were to me.

"Or something much better... Would you rather I blame that on whoever gave you this pathetic excuse of a knife?

Tell them that the person who stabbed me owns that knife and get them kicked out of this school and probably even give them jail time. And most likely ruin their entire future and dreams.

How does that sound to you, toy? Better? "

She lowered her knife slowly as her hard, cold eyes began to fill with concerns and disbelief about that spur-of-the-moment idea.

"You wouldn't want any of your new friends to get into trouble because of you? Do you?"

My left hand grabbed onto the blade and stilled it to stay in place.

"What do you want from me, Kevin?" she slowly said in defeat as she bit on her lips again. As anger once again filled those dark brown eyes.

"You know exactly what I want from you, Toy?

But what's the point of telling you when I could simply just show you instead?"
