On the way home, Dad and I stopped at the mailbox. After checking the mail, I got back in and didn't put back on my seat belt because we were only a minute from home.

"Don't drive crazy, I don't have my belt on," I jokingly warned. Then he unbuckled his seatbelt as well. I furrowed my brows and asked, "What are you doing?"

"If we die, we die together."

I'm not sure if that's the sweetest or stupidest thing he's ever said.
