"You should watch Teen Wolf, Dad."

"No thanks. I've already seen it. And Teen Wolf Too. But they didn't use Michael J. Fox in second one, they used Jason Bateman. I love him too, but continuity would have been better."

While he was speaking, I was trying to interrupt him. When he stopped, I said, "No, I mean Teen Wolf the tv series."

"Not the movie?" he asked, and I shook my head. "What's the same between the movies and the show?"

"Best friends named Scott and Stiles, and Scott is a werewolf, but with much better makeup."

"Does Scott van surf?"

"No. But Scott also doesn't turn in the middle of school, and no one cheers him on for it because people in the modern age are actually terrified of monsters, and Stiles certainly does not sell t-shirts with the words 'Teen Wolf' printed on them."

"Do they at least play basketball?"

"No, it's lacrosse."

"That's it!" he exclaimed. "I'm never watching that."
