So, I come and try to sit on her lap, even though I'm 17 years old. Every time I'd put a little bit of my weight on her, she'd cry out, "Ahh! You're hurting me! Oww!"
I tried to be gentle, but she kept making that noise. So, I finally just give up and sit on her.
"You're squishing me, you're squishing me!"
Then I don't know what happened, but these little fuzzes, like from the inside of a stuffed animal, flew up and over to Mom.
She went to grab it and said, "What's the fuzz?" Then she gasped, "That's my stuffing! You've squished me!"
I was laughing so hard that I had to get up. The best part was that the whole time, she sounded like a whiny little kid.

Scheduling: Starchild is a previously unpublished novel of one hundred thousand words which was serialised in weekly instalments over twenty-five weeks from 15th November 2021 to the 29th April 2022.
