《SUNRISE ༘ bakugo katsuki》15

Christmas break. Finally, you could spend a week thinking about anything but work.
You decided to visit your parents' place which was a few hour ride from Musutafu.
Arriving there, you could feel your palms beginning to sting, slowly secreting sweat. Your parents were never those type that supports gay people.
Knocking on the familiar wooden door, it opens and reveals your mother, her slightly wrinkled features and the strands of white were already dominating the color of her hair.
She beams when she sees you. "Y/N! You've grown so much already!" She says and hugs you tight, you hugged her too.
The both of you waltz inside the small living room that you once played with several childhood friends before.
You placed the cake that you bought for them on the table and sat on the chair. "Where's dad?" You asked.
"He'll be down in a while. You must be thirsty from that trip, do you want water?" You nod at your mom and she immediately fetches a glass of water for you.
Not long after, your father stepped downstairs, heading to the kitchen where you and your mother we're chit-chatting.
You gave your father a nod and he returned it. "You're visiting Christmas here without a girlfriend again, Y/N. Didn't you earn enough money already to settle down? Look at me, growing white hair, I want a grandchild." Your mother said and giggled.
"You're already old enough to marry also. How old are you turning next year?" Your father chimed in, sitting on a chair beside your mother.
"26." You said.
"Oh my, you should get a girlfriend now. I have a friend of mine near Musutafu, her daughter is single-"
"Mom." You called her name to stop her from blabbering any further.

Your mom laughs. "Okay okay, I'm sorry. I know how dedicated you are at work, but please do take the time to mingle with other people, sweetie."
"You never introduced a girl to us, Y/N. Don't tell me you're gay. We've talked about this-" Your father spoke but you intervened.
"Do your preferences matter more than mine?" You said.
You couldn't take it anymore. If your father were spitting bullshit like that before you met Katsuki, you would've let it slide. But now that you were sure of what you felt around Katsuki, of what you were feeling towards him, you just couldn't let it get past you anymore.
It was as if your father was not only talking trash to you but to Katsuki as well.
Your father's eyes began to glare daggers at you. "What's the meaning of this? Are you saying you're gay, Y/N?" Your father said with anger.
You stared back at him, holding the same intensity with the ones he's giving you.
"What if I am?" You said.
Your father's eyebrows furrowed deep. Your father raises his hand and slaps you across the face. "Now what?! You like what women like too? Skirts, dresses, crop-tops-"
"Men can still be gay without having the need to like and look feminine." You answered.
Your father couldn't utter a word. He was fuming and you could tell with the veins forming on his forehead.
"Honey, calm down." Your mother said, putting her hand on her husband's shoulder.
"If you still consider me your son, then the happiness that I chose will matter more than the happiness that you want to give me." You said and stood up from your chair.
"But right now, I can't call you my parents. I don't want to claim a family member that doesn't accept me for who I am." Your parents' eyes widen while your mother's lips parted in shock.

"Y/N..." Your mother called but you had already shut the door. Leaving them in absolute shock.
You drove your way back to Musutafu, stopping at a red light. You deeply heaved a sigh and placed your forehead on the steering wheel.
You were never a rebel to your parents. But now that your feelings are on the table, you just can't let them take it and throw it away. Meeting Katsuki was the best thing that happened to you, and you didn't want anything and anyone getting in between.
Even if it meant rebelling your parents.
"Katsuki! You're not making a fuss in the gym again, aren't you?" Katsuki's mother, Bakugo Mitsuki, said and set the food on the table.
Katsuki was spending the night in his parents' house.
"I'm not!" Katsuki answers back while his father, Bakugo Masaru, sheepishly smiles at the sight of them yelling at each other. It's already been long since Katsuki last visited.
"Seriously, Katsuki. Are you not getting into a relationship? Well, I can see why since you're very arrogant-"
"SHUT UP!"
"Calm down, you two." Masaru says with his hands up, trying to calm the two hot-headed loved ones with him.
"Aren't you panicking? Our son hasn't introduced us to a single person yet! What are you again, Katsuki? Bisexual? Your chances on having a partner increased but you're still all bi-yourself-"
"I SAID SHUT UUUUUPP!"
Let's say the dinner went on with Katsuki almost losing his voice because of the constant nagging from his mother.
"But Katsuki, you at least like someone, right?" Masaru says and Mitsuki nods.
Katsuki shifts his gaze from his parents to the other side of the room.
"Nah, you're not escaping this one. Who's the unlucky fellow?" Mitsuki says and this irked Katsuki more than her previous mockery.
Masaru only sighed as he continued eating dinner, with Mitsuki and Katsuki's bantering in the background.
"Don't come here on New Year's if you're not bringing someone with you." Mitsuki says which shocked Masaru and Katsuki.
No fucking way. Katsuki thought.
Katsuki casually scrolled on the internet as he lay down on his bed. He came across a post that said, 'It's that time of the year again where we see couples everywhere.'
He clicks on the post, wanting to read the comments if there was anything funny he could read.
But one comment caught his attention.
'yall are just bitter bcos u guys have no one to be with. plus, there's a korean belief that when you witness the first snowfall with someone, true love will blossom between the two and it will last long. which is why you see couples everywhere.'
There were a few negative replies on that comment, saying it's just a belief and whatnot.
But to Katsuki, he began to think of you and desperately wished that a single snow shall not drop until he meets you.

Old Version - The First Magician
INDEFINITE HIATUS I always seem to make these too long when I ask for peoples opinions so I’m not gonna try an exciting description anymore but instead just give you an idea of what to expect. First off, this is my 2nd attempt at a story but my foundation for this one is much better than the 1st already and I see this going much further and so far its coming together much faster and easier. So please excuse me if things are not up to publishing standards. Also I tend to confuse your, you’re and so on so sorry to people that triggers ahead of time. The First Magician follows the story of 15 year old Alex in a post apocalyptic rpg-ish world in the near future. Earth was transformed, monsters appeared and people began being able to use Ki but could not figure out how to use magic. Alex ends up becoming the first human able to use magic through a series of events and sets in motion events that will change the very future of the human race. He will be somewhat OP simply because he is the only human (at least to start, who knows about later?) who is able to use mana. Many classic RPG elements have been removed. I didn’t want the story to be like all of the other lit rpg stories on RRL but it also makes the writing easier for me hence the watering down of rpg elements. UPDATES: I am doing this to relieve stress and for fun so I will release chapters when I can. So far though ive managed to keep up with 2 most days. CONTENT WARNINGS: There will be some light language but it won't be insane. I might have some gore later on but am unsure and the same for the sexual content. Sexual content isn't super likely as I doubt I can write it well but I put the tag so people cant yell about it if I add some in the future but forgot to add the tag. COVER ART: Yes it is from the anime Log Horizon. It is a good representation of what earth looks like despite it not being many years in the future. DISCORD: https://discord.gg/s6V3hGV
